Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe what are the obstacles for class XI IPS 1 students in implementing the recitation method for doing online assignments for geography lessons. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Data obtained from observations, interview and documentation. The subjects of this study were teachers of geography lessons and students of class XI IPS 1 with the technique of taking the subject using the Snowball Sampling Technique. Based on data analysis, it is known that the obstacles faced by students in doing online assignments using the recitation method are the limitations of students' internet quotas, sometimes a sudden power outage, and lack of understanding of students with learning materials. Efforts made include the teacher giving time for students who are constrained by the network, waiting for the PLN electricity light to turn on, and teachers must always motivate students to diligently read the material. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine student geography learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class and the effect of the application of Adobe Animate CC media on the geography learning outcomes of class X at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. Population of this research is class X SMA Negeri 7 Padang, totaling 287 students. Sample in this research used a purposive sampling technique which divided into a control class, that is class X2 and an experimental class, that is class X3 with total of 36 students in each class. The research design used is Posttest Only Control Group Design. Data collection techniques through observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis on the hypothesis test used a technique of independent sample t-test (t-test). The results of this research indicate that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes between the control class using conventional learning media and the experimental class using Adobe Animate CC learning media. Besides that, based on the results of questionnaire data analysis regarding student responses, Adobe Animate CC learning media has a positive influence on learning activities. Abstract

This article is motivated by the number of teachers who still use the lecture method of learning or often called the conventional method so that the learning process becomes less effective. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the guided group discussion learning model on the geography learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA N 1 2X11 Kayutanam. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of research (Quasi Experimental). The results of hypothesis testing carried out using a t-test with a significance level of 0.05, the obtained tcount ttable is 2.076 2.01. The results of the pre-test showed that the two classes had similar initial abilities, namely 69.72 in the control class and 69.2 in the experimental class. the post-test results showed that the experimental class got a higher average than the control class, which was 80.2 and the control class with an average score of 76.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to help educators to be able to teach remote sensing material in the classroom, by taking examples from raw Landsat images that are processed simply using spatial applications. And this teaching material is based on a case study of using imagery as a land cover analysis in Koto Sani village. Then this study resulted that the material used as teaching material was valid and the practical use of this teaching material was practical enough so that it could be used as remote sensing teaching material.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to evaluate the competence of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) in the UNP geography education study program. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all geography tutors in PPLK july 2019 semester at pariaman city high school. The technique of sampling is total sampling. The data collection technique is a questionnaire with data collection tools, namely a questionnaire given to respondents. The result of this study can be concluded that (1) in this study it can be seen that the evaluation of the competence of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program seen from the pedagogical competence is in the goog category with a score of 65,08. (2) in personality competence, it can be seen that the evaluation of the competence of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program is in the good category with a score of 37,25. (3) in social competence, it can be seen that the competency evaluation of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program is in the good category with a score of 48,25. (4) on professional competence, it can be seen that the evaluation of the competence of students iin the field experience practice (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program is in the quite good category with a score of 26,75.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to determine the effect of the application of active learning type of Hollywood Squares using LKS to the results of learning geography students class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency. The hypothesis in this study is "There is a significant influence on the application of active learning of the type of Hollywood Squares using LKS to the students' geography result of grade XI SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency". This type of research is quasi-experimental, with randomized control only design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency enrolled in the 2016/2017 academic year, selected sample using cluster random sampling technique, which selected XI IPS2 class as control class and class XI IPS1 as experiment class. To test the hypothesis used two equality test (t) at the 0.05 level.The result of the data analysis shows that the experimental class has an average value of cognitive domain of 81.25 while the control class has a mean of cognitive domain of 73.88. The calculation of the cognitive sphere t obtained (95) (62) is 1.66. Thus the hypothesis presented earlier can be accepted at 95% confidence level. Based on this it can be concluded that the application of active learning type Hollywood Squares using LKS can improve learning outcomes geography class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar berbasis weblog pada materi pembelajaran Geografi SMA kelas XI yang valid dan praktis digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) menggunakan model ASSURE mengikuti standar KKNI level VI. Enam prosedur ASSURE adalah analisis peserta didik, merumuskan tujuan, memilih media, metode, dan materi, memanfaatkan material, peran serta peserta didik, dan evaluasi serta revisi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar uji validitas dan lembar angket kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber belajar berbasis weblog bernilai valid dan praktis digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran Geografi kelas XI SMA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis web pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA N 2 Padang, 2) mengetahui kevalidan pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis web pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA N 2 Padang, 3) mengetahui kepraktisan pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis web pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA N 2 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Reseach and Development) dengan menggunakan model 4-D. Model ini dikembangkan dalam empat tahapan, yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Untuk melihat apakah Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis web pada pembelajaran geografi valid dan praktis, peneliti melakukan uji validitas dan uji kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis web pada pembelajaran geografi sangat valid dan sangat praktis. Ahli materi menilai sangat valid dengan nilai akhir 0,35. Ahli media menilai sangat valid dengan nilai akhir 0,37. Guru geografi menilai sangat praktis dengan nilai akhir 3,5. Siswa kelas X MIA 1 SMA N 2 Padang menilai sangat praktis dengan nilai akhir 3,5.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar geografi berbasis weblog yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi model ASSURE. Model dikembangkan dalam enam tahapan yaitu (1) analisis peserta didik, (2) merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, (3) memilih metode, media dan bahan ajar, (4) memanfaatkan media dan materi, (5) mengembangkan peran serta peserta didik, (6) evaluasi dan revisi. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli perangkat pembelajaran, ahli materi dan media. Kepraktisan dilakukan oleh dua orang guru geografi dan 34 orang siswa SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sumber belajar geografi berbasis weblog sangat valid dan sangat praktis. Ahli perangkat pembelajaran menilai sangat valid dengan nilai akhir 87,03%, ahli materi 88,27%, dan ahli media 88,54%. Guru geografi menilai sangat praktis dengan nilai akhir 99,10%, dan siswa kelas XII IPS 1 menilai sangat praktis dengan nilai akhir 86,76%.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aksesibilitas petani menuju lahan markisa, aksesibilitas petani menuju pemasaran dan pola difusi pemasaranya. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti dan Kecamatan Danau Kembar. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek petani markisa kedua kecamatan berjumlah 218 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 30 % dari populasi yaitu 65 orang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan aksesibilitas menuju lahan markisa a) sebagian besar petani menempuh jarak 0-2,3 km Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti, dan Kecamatan Danau Kembar sebagian besar pada jarak 2,3 -4,6 km. b) Jenis transportasi kedua kecamatan umumnya berjalan kaki. c) Kondisi jalan kedua kecamatan umumnya jalan tanah setapak. d) Biaya perjalanan petani kedua kecamatan umumnya tidak ada. e) Waktu tempuh kedua kecamatan umumnya 20–60 menit. (2) Aksesibilitas menuju pemasaran markisa dalam kondisi a) jarak pemasaran kedua kecamatan umumnya antara 0–3,3 km. b) Kondisi jalan Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti sebagian besar jalan tanah, dan Kecamatan Danau Kembar sebagian besar melewati jalan tanah, lalu kerikil dan aspal. c) Biaya pemasaran kedua kecamatan umumnya di kisaran Rp. 20.000 – Rp 50.000. d) Waktu tempuh kedua kecamatan umumnya 20-60 menit. (3) Pola difusi pemasaran markisa kedua kecamatan sama sama difusi ekspansi tipe menjalar dan difusi relokasi
