Abstract

One of the strategies to improve the standard of living of the Bakti Jaya people is the innovative home-scale fish farming owned by Mr. Budi. Located in the middle of a populous area, the water management system in aquaculture is an important thing to consider so as not to pollute the environment. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the wastewater management of home-scale fish farming in the context of environmental conserva-tion carried out by Pak Budi's BP Farm, as well as to ex-plore the positive impacts that can be generated from waste management in densely populated areas. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The re-sults showed that the wastewater management system applied by BP Farm fish farming can be an alternative that utilizes traditional tools, but the system can be fur-ther maximized by applying the RAS system so that the waste water produced becomes less. In addition, the wastewater produced by BP Farm fish farming has a positive impact, that is, it can be used for liquid fertilizer which contains nutrients that are good for plants.

Abstract

The growth of e-commerce has driven local brands such as Mykonos Parfum to optimize their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies in order to maintain customer loyalty on digital platforms, particularly Shopee. This study aims to explore customer perceptions of the effectiveness of Mykonos's CRM implementation through a descriptive-exploratory qualitative approach. Data were collected from 80 purposively selected customer reviews and manually analyzed using thematic content analysis with the aid of Microsoft Excel and Google Docs. The results indicate that responsiveness in communication is the most appreciated aspect, while delivery delays, difficult return processes, and limited stock availability remain key weaknesses. Nevertheless, customer loyalty remains high, influenced by perceptions of exclusivity and emotional attachment to the brand. This study recommends strengthening CRM systems through improved logistics management, simplified after-sales services, and the utilization of cross-platform digital interactions. The main contribution of this study lies in the development of digital engagement practices within a strategic CRM framework for the local e-commerce sector, emphasizing the importance of integrating operational, emotional, and symbolic dimensions in fostering affective loyalty. The study also suggests future research using a mixed-method approach and cross-channel digital analysis to broaden the understanding of consumer behavior.

Abstract

The effectiveness of information systems plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational operations, particularly in the management of non-medical goods requisitions in healthcare institutions. At Haji Jakarta Hospital, the previous manual method of managing requisitions led to inefficiencies such as processing delays, data inaccuracies, and difficulties in tracking inventory. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system to optimize the requisition process for non-medical goods. The research applies the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which includes requirements planning, design workshop, and implementation phases. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis, followed by system modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system was developed using PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database, and XAMPP as the development platform. To ensure the functionality of the application, black box testing was conducted, focusing on validating input, process, and output functions. The resulting system provides key features such as real-time requisition tracking, inventory monitoring, and automated reporting. Compared to the previous manual system, the new application enabled hospital staff to process requisitions more quickly and with greater accuracy, reducing average processing time from approximately two days to just a few hours, and minimizing errors caused by repeated manual data entry. All tested system functions performed successfully, improving transparency and documentation in the requisition process. In conclusion, the developed system significantly improves the accuracy, speed, and traceability of requisition processes and can serve as a reference for similar digital transformation initiatives in other healthcare institutions.

Abstract

Live streaming has become one of the most prominent digital phenomena in recent years, changing the way individuals interact, consume content and shop online. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence audience engagement in live streaming, including audience motivation, the role of social interaction, technological features, platform distribution, and popular genres. Through a systematic literature review approach, 27 articles from relevant ScienceDirect and DOAJ databases were selected for analysis. The study results show that audience engagement is mainly influenced by parasocial interaction (PSI), entertainment-based motivation (hedonic value), and practical benefits (utilitarian value). Technologies such as live chat, gifting, and data-driven recommendation systems strengthen viewing duration and audience loyalty. In addition, platforms such as Twitch dominate the gaming and esports genres, while TikTok Live thrives in the e-commerce space. New genres such as VTubers and travel offer opportunities to attract a wider audience with avatar-based interaction approaches and virtual experiences. The research also identified gaps in the literature, including a lack of studies on local platforms, new genres, and the impact of innovative technologies such as AR/VR. This study makes an academic contribution by summarizing key findings and providing strategic guidance for platform developers, streamers and businesses in creating more engaging and effective live streaming experiences.
