Abstract

Kemajuan kecerdasan buatan (AI), khususnya teknologi deepfake, telah melahirkan pola baru pelecehan seksual berbasis digital yang mengancam integritas individu di ruang siber. Fenomena ini menghadirkan tantangan serius bagi etika profesi Teknologi Informasi (TI) yang selama ini menjadi landasan moral bagi para pelaku industri digital. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis secara kritis fenomena deepfake harassment di media sosial dalam kerangka kode etik profesi TI, mengidentifikasi celah regulasi hukum di Indonesia, serta merumuskan rekomendasi praktis bagi profesional TI. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan protokol PRISMA. Pencarian dilakukan melalui Google Scholar menggunakan kata kunci "deepfake", "harassment", "etika teknologi informasi", dan "AI ethics". Dari 87 artikel teridentifikasi, sebanyak 6 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi untuk dianalisis secara mendalam. Literatur menunjukkan bahwa deepfake harassment melanggar setidaknya lima prinsip utama dalam ACM Code of Ethics dan IEEE Code of Ethics, yaitu prinsip kejujuran, non-maleficence, privasi, akuntabilitas, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Regulasi hukum Indonesia (UU ITE, UU TPKS, UU PDP) belum secara spesifik mengakomodasi penyalahgunaan AI, sehingga menimbulkan celah normatif dalam penegakan hukum. Diperlukan pembaruan kode etik profesi TI yang responsif terhadap ancaman deepfake, penguatan regulasi berbasis AI, serta peningkatan literasi digital masyarakat secara sistematis.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat sektor e-commerce di Indonesia mendorong para pengembang aplikasi untuk berlomba dalam meningkatkan konversi transaksi, namun hal ini sering kali dibarengi dengan praktik desain manipulatif yang dikenal sebagai Dark Pattern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi antarmuka aplikasi Tokopedia guna mengidentifikasi elemen desain yang melanggar etika profesi teknologi informasi dan prinsip kenyamanan pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Heuristic Evaluation berdasarkan 10 prinsip Jakob Nielsen melalui observasi langsung pada alur transaksi aplikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya beberapa jenis Dark Pattern yang signifikan, yaitu Sneak into Basket pada fitur proteksi tambahan, Confirmshaming pada dialog pembatalan transaksi, Artificial Scarcity melalui penghitung waktu mundur, dan Forced Cross-selling melalui interupsi layar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pelanggaran terhadap prinsip User Control and Freedom, Error Prevention, dan Aesthetic and Minimalist Design. Kesimpulannya, meskipun memiliki fungsionalitas tinggi, antarmuka Tokopedia masih menerapkan strategi desain yang dapat merugikan otonomi pengguna. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi berupa rekomendasi bagi desainer UI/UX untuk memprioritaskan etika profesional di atas manipulasi perilaku demi menciptakan ekosistem digital yang lebih transparan dan inklusif bagi konsumen.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan pesat platform e-commerce di Indonesia diiringi meningkatnya kasus kebocoran data pribadi konsumen, seperti insiden Tokopedia (91 juta akun, 2020), Bukalapak (13 juta akun, 2020), dan Indihome (279 juta data, 2024). Meskipun pemerintah telah mengesahkan Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP), kasus pelanggaran terus berulang sehingga menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai kecukupan pendekatan hukum tanpa diiringi dimensi etika. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis urgensi penerapan etika profesi teknologi informasi (TI) dalam pelindungan data pribadi konsumen pada platform e-commerce di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif terhadap 15 literatur primer terbitan 2022–2025, dianalisis menggunakan teknik content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kasus kebocoran data merupakan cerminan pelanggaran multidimensional terhadap lima prinsip kode etik ACM (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.6, 2.5) dan IEEE Code of Ethics, yaitu kontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan publik, menghindari bahaya, kejujuran, penghormatan privasi, dan evaluasi profesional yang komprehensif. Penerapan kerangka CIA Triad dan prinsip Privacy by Design menjadi fondasi etis yang esensial. Kepatuhan UU PDP saja tidak cukup tanpa internalisasi nilai etika oleh praktisi TI.

Abstract

The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector in Indonesia is experiencing a shift in competitive dynamics, characterized by the impact of digital disruption and evolving consumer behaviors. This scenario necessitates the establishment of a collaborative environment within the marketing team, particularly during the initiation of new product launches. However, in practice, functional conflicts often arise due to a lack of alignment in perceptions of objectives and ambiguity in roles between the Graphic Design Team, which is oriented towards visual creativity, and the Data Analyst Team, which emphasizes data-based validation. These conflicts frequently impede effective decision-making processes and diminish the team's overall performance. The objective of this study is to examine the efficacy of implementing the Belbin Team Role Model as a diagnostic instrument and behavioral intervention to address role conflicts and align perceptions of work objectives within the Marketing Team at PT XYZ.The present study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing an exploratory case study design. The subjects of the research study comprised eight individuals from the Marketing Team at PT XYZ. The data collection techniques employed in this study included the Belbin Self-Perception Inventory (SPI), observational assessments, and in-depth interviews conducted prior to and following the intervention. The data were then subjected to thematic analysis, a method of data interpretation that seeks to identify patterns of conflict, role clarity, and changes in teamwork dynamics. The results of the study indicate an imbalance in the composition of team roles, characterized by the dominance of Plant and Shaper roles and the absence of Monitor Evaluator roles. This imbalance has been shown to trigger conflict between creative and analytical orientations. The application of the Belbin Model has proven effective in providing a neutral role language, increasing role clarity, and transforming dysfunctional conflict into constructive discussion. This intervention has been demonstrated to facilitate the alignment of perceptions regarding team objectives by integrating visual creativity and data validation in a more balanced manner.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media, particularly TikTok, has raised significant concerns regarding addictive behavior and the digital wellbeing of its users. In response, TikTok has introduced "Screen Time Breaks" and "Sleep Reminders" features to assist users in managing their usage time. However, the effectiveness of these features heavily depends on their usability and ethical design transparency. This study aims to evaluate the usability of these two features using User Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, while analyzing them through the lens of digital wellbeing ethics. The testing was conducted on Information Systems students by measuring the Success Rate and Time on Task in locating and activating these features. The results of this study demonstrate the level of user ease in accessing time-management tools and whether TikTok's interface design supports or hinders the principles of Privacy by Design and Digital Wellbeing. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of application interfaces that are more humane and ethical in safeguarding user mental health. These findings emphasize the critical need for digital platforms to conduct periodic evaluations of their wellbeing features, ensuring that digital addiction intervention instruments are accessible, transparent, and accountably designed.

Abstract

Massive digital transformation across various sectors has positioned data as a vital instrument in accelerating technological innovation, particularly in the development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem. One of the most effective yet controversial data collection methods to date is web scraping. This research aims to deeply analyze the ethical dilemmas and the legal boundaries of web scraping practices in Indonesia, specifically in the context of providing large-scale datasets for AI model training. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach toward various positive legal instruments, platform privacy policies, and international professional codes of ethics. The results of the analysis indicate that although web scraping offers significant technical efficiency for various industrial sectors, this practice often overlooks the aspect of consent from data owners and potentially violates Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright and Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (PDP Law). The emphasis on the integrity of Information Technology (IT) practitioners, referring to the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) code of ethics, becomes highly crucial as a moral compass amidst the void of specific regulations regarding scraping at the national level. This research concludes that the true professionalism of an IT practitioner is measured not only by the mastery of data extraction technology but also by compliance with legal boundaries, transparency, and respect for private property rights to create a fair, secure, and transparent digital ecosystem.

Abstract

The rapid digitalization in Indonesia, reaching 180 million active social media users, has not been accompanied by adequate security system resilience, thereby triggering massive data breach risks. This study aims to analyze the privacy navigation mechanisms of the digital society as an instrument for mitigating information leaks. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study (library research) approach, which examines primary and secondary literature related to regulations, digital behavior, and user psychological factors. The research findings indicate that privacy navigation in the digital era has not operated optimally due to the dominance of social existence needs, which triggers the privacy paradox phenomenon. Although users possess knowledge regarding cyber risks, the desire for social validation through self-disclosure often overrides technical protection logic. The practice of using secondary accounts (second accounts) was found to be a form of manual navigation, yet its effectiveness remains dependent on individual digital literacy. The implications of this research emphasize that mitigating information leaks requires the integration of critical user awareness, platform governance transparency, and consistent law enforcement through the PDP Law. Digital awareness must transform into reflexive protective behavior to maintain informational sovereignty in cyberspace.

Abstract

Evaluasi kinerja pengurus LDKS FST menghadapi tantangan subjektivitas dan bias visibilitas akibat ketiadaan standar Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk menciptakan mekanisme evaluasi yang objektif menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Metode ini diimplementasikan terhadap 15 sampel pengurus dengan mengukur empat kriteria utama: kehadiran, penyelesaian jobdesc, inisiatif, dan tingkat indisipliner. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa algoritma SAW mampu menghasilkan perangkingan kinerja secara presisi, di mana dua pengurus terbaik meraih nilai preferensi sempurna sebesar 1,000. Sistem ini terbukti efektif mendekonstruksi bias visibilitas dengan memberikan penalti otomatis pada fungsionaris yang memiliki catatan indisipliner tinggi hingga menyentuh nilai preferensi terendah sebesar 0,718, meskipun fungsionaris tersebut memiliki tingkat kehadiran fisik yang memadai. Implementasi sistem berhasil menggeser orientasi penilaian intuitif menuju keputusan berbasis data yang akuntabel. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam transformasi manajemen sumber daya manusia pada organisasi fungsionaris berbasis kerelawanan dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip etika teknologi dan keadilan proporsional ('adl)

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic business ethics in e-commerce transactions, with a specific focus on the Shopee platform. The research is motivated by the increasing growth of digital commerce accompanied by various ethical issues such as product misrepresentation, lack of transparency, and weak accountability of sellers. The objective of this study is to analyze how ethical principles, including honesty, fairness, and responsibility, are applied in online transactions. This research employs a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review method by analyzing 20 relevant scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2026. The findings reveal that although the platform provides adequate transactional systems, ethical violations are still prevalent, primarily due to information asymmetry between sellers and consumers. Trust emerges as the most influential factor in purchasing decisions, while perceived risk and security play supporting roles in shaping consumer behavior. Additionally, economic incentives such as promotions often override ethical considerations in influencing consumer decisions. The study implies that strengthening ethical enforcement, enhancing platform supervision, and improving consumer digital literacy are essential to ensure a sustainable and trustworthy e-commerce ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of information technology (IT) professional ethics as a preventive instrument in facing the escalation of cyber crime in Indonesia. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA protocol, 17 selected scientific literature from the 2020-2026 period were analyzed comprehensively. The results of the study indicate that dominant operating modes such as ransomware on national infrastructure and mass data breaches in the banking and health sectors are rooted in the neglect of integrity and accountability principles. The discussion in this study confirms that the application of professional ethics based on the PAPA (Privacy, Accuracy, Property, Accessibility) framework is able to suppress the risk of internal threats and strengthen digital defense. The conclusion of the study shows that the synergy between the 2024 ITE Law regulations and the internalization of the professional code of ethics is the main key to data sovereignty in the digital era. The practical implications of this research recommend strengthening the ethics curriculum in IT higher education and ethical compliance audits in the public sector.
