Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka and obstacles in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SMP Negeri 1 Banuhampu. The study of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SMP Negeri 1 Banuhampu can be carried out using a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentary research techniques to collect data from participants (including principals, curriculum representatives and teachers) involved in the implementation of the self-directed learning program at SMP Negeri 1 Remaja. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Kurikulum Merdeka has been implemented as expected. However, in its implementation, teachers need guidance, including attending training sessions at schools to learn more about the Kurikulum Merdeka and continuing to activate the learning community to identify shortcomings and things that need to be improved. In learning, the teachers have carried out the learning process according to the Kurikulum Merdeka and prepared learning tools starting from Learning Outcomes (CP), Learning Objectives Flow (ATP), Learning Objectives (TP), and teaching modules. Obstacles in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka are human resources who do not understand the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka and inadequate facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negri 1 Banuhampu so that it slows down the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the United Kingdom Subject, so the right learning media is needed to improve learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Electronic Dictionary Card interactive learning media on United Kingdom learning outcomes in grade VII in junior high school. This study uses an experimental method with a pre-experiment design, especially a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample is grading VII students of SMP Negeri 43 Mukomuko. Data collection techniques include tests, interviews, and observations, with instruments in the form of multiple-choice tests for pretest and posttest. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence of the use of Electronic Dictionary Card interactive media on students' United Kingdom learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in the average score from the pretest by 57.4 to 86 in the posttest. A simple linear regression analysis also showed the t-count value > the t-table (8.915 > 2.1009), which indicated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Thus, the use of Electronic Dictionary Card interactive media has a significant effect on improving United Kingdom learning outcomes in grade VII of junior high school

Abstract

The problem found in the field is the low learning outcomes of students in informatics subjects caused by the application of informatics models that do not vary which makes the learning atmosphere seem boring, less attractive to students so that learning has not been achieved optimally. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the wordwall-based games-based learning model on student learning outcomes in Informatics subjects at SMP 4 Sutera. The type of research used by the researcher is a quasi experiment The sampling technique used is a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use tests. Data analyzed with the Mann Whitney test. The results of the study showed that after conducting data analysis tests and hypotheses using the wilcoxon and mann whitney tests, the Asymp value was obtained. Sign (2-tailed) < 0.05 then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. After using the games-based learning model, it was higher and experienced a significant increase compared to using the conventional learning model. Therefore, the games based learning model can be declared effective and able to improve student learning outcomes in Informatics class VII SMPN 4 Sutera

Abstract

Social media is not only a platform for social interaction, but it has also been widely used in educational contexts. The use of social media has both positive and negative sides. This research aims to analyze the use of social media in the learning process in the digital era on students of Educational Technology FIP UNP. This research was designed using qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data were obtained from students of Educational Technology FIP UNP. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Milles and Huberman techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and continued with conclusion drawing. While testing the validity of the data is done by triangulation, peer checking, using reference materials and conducting audits with the supervisor. The results showed that social media that are often used by students of Educational Technology FIP UNP in the learning process in the digital era are Whatsapp, Instagram, Telegram, Youtube, TikTok and Zoom. The application is often used because of the convenience of the features offered and is familiar with most people. The way social media is used in the learning process is different, adjusting to the lecturer and the course.

Abstract

Lack of desire and low student participation in monotonous Englisgh learning can lead to low student learning outcomes. So support is needed in the form of media to overcome this problem. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of motion graphic animation video media in Englisgh subjects on the learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 39 Padang. The type of research is in the form of quantitative research with experimental methods. The sample in this study is 60 students consisting of an experimental class and a control class. Data analysis technique uses a t-test to determine student learning outcomes in English subjects. The results showed that there was a difference in the learning outcomes of the experimental class with an average of 73.83 and the control class with an average of 67.33. The use of motion graphic animation video media is effective in Englisgh subjects on the learning outcomes of grade VII students. It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who use motion graphic animation video media in Englisgh subjects have a significant impact on student learning outcomes

Abstract

Learning in the classroom, teachers have not optimized the use of media other than LKS, so students tend to be bored because they do not understand the material because the images are not clear in the LKS. This research aims to produce interactive multimedia that is valid and practical so that it can be used by teachers, especially in informatics subjects. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research, the development model used is the 4-D (Define, Design, Development, & Disseminate) development model. The subject of the study is class X students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang with a total of 20 students. In the research process, data collection by observation and using questionnaires. Data processing obtained from media validation, material validation and student practicality tests with assessment using a Likert scale questionnaire with a score range of 1 to 5. Validity Test, validation from material experts with an average score of 4.87 in the very valid category, validation results from media experts obtained an overall average of 4.85 in the very valid category. The results of the practicality test on students obtained an average score of 4.62 with the category of very practical. Based on these results, interactive multimedia using the Articulate Storyline application in the informatics subject class X of high school is very valid and practical to be used as a learning medium

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of the use of multimedia autoplay on student learning outcomes in social studies class VIII at SMPN 29 Padang. The research method used in this study is quantitative research using the experimental method, which is to present the phenomenon as it is with its appearance, in accordance with the research frame of reference. The population in this study is all grade VIII students for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique consisting of class VIII 8 as many as 30 students as an experimental class and class VIII 9 as many as 32 students as a control class. The technique used in collecting data is the learning outcome in social studies subjects in the form of multiple choice with 30 questions. The data analysis technique of this study uses a t-test. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class that utilized autoplay-based multimedia was 78.7, which was higher than the average score of the control class that used textbooks and teaching materials, which was 60.06. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, it can be concluded that the use of autoplay-based multimedia is effective and efficient on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students in social studies subjects at SMPN 29 Padang

Abstract

This research aims to develop multimedia learning that can help students to understand the process of the human excretory system and can facilitate students to learn independently. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with a 4-D development model. The results of the study obtained that the average validity score by material experts was 4.85 with the category of "very valid"." The average validity score from validator 1 is 4.88, also categorized as "very valid," while the average score from validator 2 is 4.79, categorized as "very valid." Subsequently, a practicality test was conducted with 20 students, resulting in a score of 4.62, categorized as "very practical." Based on the practicality test results, it is concluded that the learning multimedia on the topic of the human excretory system for eighth-grade science subjects can be used in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes are motivated by the lack of activity of students during the learning process and the teacher's dependence on textbooks. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of 4C-based mathematics e-modules on the learning outcomes of grade VII students at UPTD SMP Negeri 1, Mungka District. This research was carried out with a quantitative research method in the form of a Quasy Experiment. The data collection technique used is a test in Mathematics subjects. The sample of this selection was 54 grade VII students consisting of 27 people from the experimental class and 27 people from the control class. The data analysis techniques are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test with the Wilcoxon Test test method. The results show that the use of 4C-based mathematics e-modules is significantly effective in improving the learning outcomes of grade VII students. If learning is facilitated with modules or e-modules based on the 4Cs, learning will be more effective, because after learning at school students can use the e-module, learning can be done independently by students.

Abstract

Education is a key pillar of national development, and innovations such as the Merdeka Curriculum aim to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by giving freedom to schools and teachers. This study evaluates the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, specifically the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMP Pertiwi 2 Padang. The focus of the study is to assess the effectiveness of P5 in developing students' creative thinking and identifying influencing factors. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to evaluate the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMP Pertiwi 2 Padang. Data were collected through participatory observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and principals, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that in general, P5 has made a positive contribution in developing student creativity. However, there are still several aspects that need to be improved, such as improving planning, material enrichment, and the availability of facilities. In addition, this study also identifies several factors that affect the successful implementation of P5. The findings of this study are expected to provide recommendations for schools, teachers, and policymakers in an effort to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the context of P5
