Abstract

This research was conducted because there are still students who have low learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of the lecture learning method on learning outcomes in Islamic education subjects at SD Negeri 25 Pasir Tiku. This type of research is correlation. There are 44 students from class IV and V as the sample of this research. The purposive sampling technique used in the sampling process. Questionnaires and learning outcomes used to collect research data. The results showed that the results of the hypothesis test of the lecture method on learning outcomes were the significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the t value of 6.078> t table 2.018, so it was concluded that H_0 was rejected, which means that there is an effect of the lecture learning method on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education at SD Negeri 25 Pasir Tiku.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how giving rewards affects the learning motivation of class 4th students in Islamic Education at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. The research was conducted from April to May 2024 at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. A Quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental Design was used. Data were collected using questionnaires with a Likert scale. The Likert scale had four options: A, B, C, and D. There were two types of questionnaires: one for rewards and one for motivation. Data analysis included Descriptive Statistical Test, Classical Assumption Test, and Hypothesis Testing using SPSS Software Version 26. The T-test results showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. This means the independent variable (reward) significantly affects the dependent variable (motivation). The adjusted R-Squared value showed that the control class had a determination coefficient of 0.604 or 60%, and the experimental class had a determination coefficient of 0.881 or 88%. Comparing these values, it was concluded that the treatment in the experimental class had a positive effect, with a 28% difference between the control and experimental classes. Therefore, giving rewards in education proves to impact students' learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study aims to examine: 1) Planning the PBL model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang. 2) Implementation of the PBL model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang. 3) eval_uation of the PBL model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study type. The research implementation period was from July to August 2024. The research data obtained by the researcher through interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers, 5 students of class 5B and the principal of SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang as well as observations made during classroom learning with the material Loving Orphans and also supported by documentation. After that, the data was analyzed and tested for validity using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study showed that: 1) The planning of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Islamic Religious Education subjects in improving students' critical thinking skills in the material Loving Orphans in class 5B of SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang was guided by the RPP. 2) At the stage of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, the teacher had fulfilled the PBL syntax, namely problem orientation towards students, organizing students, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting work results, analyzing and eval_uating the problem-solving process. 3) eval_uation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model shows that Islamic Religious Education teachers do not use observation sheets to assess students' discussion results, teachers use written tests of essay practice questions where the form of questions given already meets the HOTS question criteria, so that it has been well tested regarding the increase in students' critical thinking skills during the PBL learning process in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of religious discipline of students at SMPIT Dar El Iman, Padang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. The population in this study were students in grades 8 and 9 at SMPIT Dar el Iman. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, using the Slovin formula and 81 respondents were obtained. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale, then the results are analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The results of the research show that the level of prayer discipline of students at SMPIT Dar El Iman, Padang City in the 5 daily obligatory prayers is 82.41% in the very good category, the sunnah careib mu'akkad prayer is 68.11% in the good category, the dhuha sunnah prayer is 71.30% in the good category. good, the tahajud sunnah prayer was 63.07 in the good category, the witir sunnah prayer was 62.35% in the good category, reading the morning and evening zikr was 86.42% in the very good category and reading the Koran was 88.58% in the very good category. Overall, The worship disscipline of students at SMPIT Dar el Iman is categorized as good with an overall average of 73.37%. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers by examining different issues related to the problem and sharing issues relevant to this context.

Abstract

Tajweed is one of the subjects taught at the Qur'an Education Center (TPQ) with the aim of providing students with an understanding of how to properly recite the Qur'an. However, in practice, Tajweed lessons are often difficult for students to grasp, as evidenced by the low learning outcomes. Therefore, one effort to improve students' Tajweed learning outcomes is by implementing the card sort method. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using the card sort method on Tajweed learning outcomes among students at TPQ Masjid Jamiek Pauh Pasar Ambacang. This study is a quantitative research employing a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, with a sample size of 30 students. Data were collected using observation guides and achievement tests, and then analyzed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 28 software. The results showed that the implementation of the card sort method was well-executed with a percentage of 80.6%, the comparison of students' learning outcomes showed a significance of 0.001, and the effectiveness value was 0.7078. Therefore, it can be concluded that the card sort method has a high effectiveness on students' Tajweed learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by Islamic Education students at Universitas Negeri Padang in using AI-based websites to complete academic assignments. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed to ensure validity. The findings indicate that websites such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.ai are used to answer academic questions, find scientific references, and analyze images and texts. However, challenges such as AI's limited understanding of religious studies, dependence on technology, and information reliability remain significant obstacles. Students use AI for structured assignments by obtaining topic explanations and scientific references, as well as for independent tasks such as studying lecture materials, creating presentations, translating languages, and answering discussion questions. While AI use has proven beneficial, the existing challenges need to be addressed to maximize its potential.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti (PAIBP). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment tipe pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik total sampling, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen berdasarkan uji Paired Sample t-Test. Namun, hasil uji Independent Sample t-Test menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan model PBL belum memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berpotensi meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, namun efektivitasnya belum lebih unggul secara signifikan dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional, sehingga diperlukan optimalisasi dalam penerapannya.

Abstract

TPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya tekanan akademik yang dihadapi siswa kelas XII yang menuntut adanya kemampuan resiliensi akademik. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz dan motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an diduga menjadi faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi ketahanan akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz dan motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an terhadap resiliensi akademik siswa kelas XII SMAN 1 Junjung Sirih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMAN 1 Junjung Sirih yang berjumlah 156 siswa, dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket (kuesioner) dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi analisis statistik deskriptif, uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi product moment dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,458 (>0,05). Sementara itu, motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an berpengaruh signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (<0,05) dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,624. Secara simultan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz dan motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an berpengaruh signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 58,009 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (<0,05). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,431 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel memberikan kontribusi sebesar 43,1% terhadap resiliensi akademik, sedangkan 56,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Dengan demikian, motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an menjadi faktor dominan dalam meningkatkan resiliensi akademik siswa, sedangkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan secara langsung. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dalam pengembangan program ekstrakurikuler berbasis keagamaan guna meningkatkan ketahanan akademik siswa

Abstract

This article focuses on development plans through education and local wisdom in the Mandeh Tourism Area, South Pesisir Regency, Indonesia. The research methods used in this study were desk study, participatory qualitative method through focus group discussions (FGD), and direct observation at the research site. The results of this study describe several points, namely: an analysis of the empowerment and local wisdom of the Mandeh Nagari community, and an analysis of the development potential of the Mandeh Tourism Area. The recommendation from this study is that education and empowerment of local wisdom are very strategic in encouraging the growth and sustainability of the Mandeh area as a leading tourist destination that provides greater benefits in terms of culture and economic perspective and must involve the active participation of the community, the private sector, the central government, the regional government, and the Nagari government.
