Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the teacher as a motivator and a mentor in shaping the discipline of children's prayer at the Al-Qur'an Education Park at Surau Balenggek Sikabu Bukit, Lubuk Alung. (1) Background: The implementation of prayer discipline education at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA) is not going well. Due to the lack of motivation from within the students and the lack of awareness from within themselves of their obligations as Muslims to establish/perform the five daily prayers a day and night; (2) Methods: This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. With samples of TPA teachers in the field of worship and morals, and TPA teachers in the field of Al-Qur'an Arts. The research instruments in this study were interview guides, recording devices, writing instruments, and other supporting tools that support the research process; (3) Results: The teacher's role as a motivator in shaping the discipline of santri prayer is to provide support and encouragement, provide assessments, and give awards. While the teacher's role as a mentor is to provide guidance, reprimand and punishment, advice and ibrah/i'tibar. In addition, the teacher's role as a motivator and mentor also applies learning methods, such as exemplary methods, habituation, awareness, and supervision; (4) Conclusion: The teacher's role as a motivator: providing support and encouragement, assessment, and appreciation. The teacher's role as a mentor: providing guidance, reprimand and punishment, advice, ibrah/i'tibar, applying exemplary methods, habituation, awareness, and supervision.

Abstract

Islam merupakan agama dakwah yaitu agama yang mengandung nilai-nilai luhur sebagai pedoman dalam kehidupan untuk disampaikan kepada seluruh umat manusia. Tidak hanya terbatas pada kelompok tertentu, golongan tertentu, suku tertentu ataupun bangsa tertentu. Akan tetapi untuk kaffatan linnasi (seluruh umat manusia) kapanpun dan dimanapun. Dakwah Islam berisikan ajakan kepada yang ma’ruf (kebaikan) dan menjauhi segala hal yang munkar (keburukan). Sebab dengan melaksakan kebaikan dalam kehidupan dan menjauhi segala keburukan maka terciptalah kehidupan yang harmoni dan penuh dengan kebahagiaan. Dalam setiap aktivitas dakwah, ada enam hal yang harus diperhatikan dengan baik, agar dakwah yang dilakukan tersebut berhasil dan mendatangkan kebaikan. Enam hal tersebut adalah: dai`, mad`u, pesan dakwah, media dakwah, feedback dakwah dan metode dakwah. Sedangkan tujuan dari sebuah dakwah adalah untuk memperbaiki kehidupan manusia agar bahagia dunia dan akhirat. Kenagarian Harau, Kecamatan Harau, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota yang merupakan wilayah tempat kami melakukan kegiatan pengabdian. Di sana ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat terkait dengan aktifitas dakwah. Diantaranya, Pertama, kurangnya jumlah personel da`i sehingga tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan masyarakat untuk kegiatan da`wiyah. Kedua, kurangnya kompetensi sebagian para da`i sehingga hal-hal atau tradisi lama yang tidak sesuai dengan syara menjadi kebiasaan masyarakat. Ketiga, kurangnya keterampilan da`I dalam beberapa aktivitas keagamaan terutama pada pelaksanaan ibadah shalat Jum`at dan penyelenggaraan jenazah.

Abstract

The background of this research is to find out the steps of PAI teachers in the PAI learning design model at SD Negeri 22 Ujung Gurun, Padang City and to find out the strengths and weaknesses in the PAI learning design at SD Negeri 22 Ujung Gurun, Padang City. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data sources are two informants through interviews, consisting of two Islamic religious education teachers at SD Negeri 22 Ujung Gurun, Padang City. The datas collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. All interview results were then analyzed systematically through four steps of analysis activities, namely (data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusion). Overall the results of the analysis show; (1) Regarding the steps of the PPSI learning design model at SD Negeri 22 Ujung Gurun, Padang City, there are five: (a) formulating learning objectives (b) Developing evaluation tools (c) Determining teaching and learning activities (d) Planning teaching and learning activities programs ( e) Execution. (2) regarding the excesses and defficiencies of the PPSI learning design model. The results of this study can be used as initial data for further research in examining different issues related to this problem and other issues that are relevant to this context.

Abstract

In the 21st century, there are many challenges faced by teachers and students in the world of education, especially in the learning aspect. Where the teacher serves as a facilitator for students in order to train students' critical thinking skills. While students are required to be able to hone their critical thinking skills so that they are able to deal with problems that occur in their lives, both in the present and in the future. Efforts can be made by teachers in honing students' critical thinking skills are one of them by applying the PBL model. This study aims to find out how to plan the PBL model on the material Faith in Qada and Qadar at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study type. The data sources for this study were Islamic Religious Education teachers, curriculum representatives, and 5 students of class XII IPA 6 SMA Negeri 7 Padang. The instruments used were interview guidelines and observation guidelines. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the planning of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in improving students' critical thinking skills on the subject of Faith in Qada and Qadar at SMA Negeri 7 Padang is guided by the syllabus and lesson plans and where it can be seen that students fulfill the indicators critical thinking in the learning process using the PBL model.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education plays an important role in building a generation of noble human beings. However, in reality, learning outcomes in PAI subjects are still low. Based on the initial observations that the researchers made, it was found that the results of studying PAI in class IVD at SD Negeri 6 Kampung Lapai were still low. One reason is the use of learning models that are not yet good and not varied. One solution is to use the right and good learning model. The Number Head Together (NHT) model is a model that can be used by teachers in the learning process at school. The aim of the study was to see the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on learning outcomes in PAI subjects in Class IV SD Negeri 6 Kampung Lapai. The population in this study was class IV, which consisted of 103 students. The samples of this research are class IV B and class IVD. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires and tests of student learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. Inferential analysis includes normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results of hypothesis testing show that Tcount = 9.396 > T-table = 4.806, so it can be stated that there is a significant influence between the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on student learning outcomes in PAI subjects.

Abstract

The history of Islamic cultural history emphasizes to students the necessity to uphold noble and Islamic values, principles, attitudes to life in carrying out daily life. However, in reality, the teaching methods used by teachers are still monotonous, so students find it difficult to understand the material and have an impact on low student learning outcomes. So it is necessary to use appropriate and interesting learning models by teachers in the learning process. This study aims to look at the effectiveness of applying the role playing model to student learning outcomes in class V Islamic cultural history at SDN 52 Parupuk Tabing. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The data in the study were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. Then the effectiveness test was carried out, the value of R < 1 (0.30 < 1) was obtained so that it could be stated that the application of the role playing learning model was effective in improving student learning outcomes in class V on Islamic Cultural History material at SDN 52 Parupuk Tabing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan yang dihadapi satuan pendidikan saat ini dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Satuan pendidikan harus siap menerima perubahan dalam setiap aspek pembelajaran yang ada pada kurikulum merdeka. Namun saat ini masih terdapat satuan pendidikan yang belum baik dalam membuat perencanaan implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan kepala sekolah dan guru PAI dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka terutama pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 8 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara dan observasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran PAI dirancang dengan baik seperti menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik dengan asesmen diagnostik, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran berdasarkan capaian pembelajaran, menganalisisis materi berdasarkan muatan lokal dan materi esensial, menggunakan metode dan media yang beragam, dan mengadakan refleksi dan evaluasi selama proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan panduan kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Students of Islamic Studies as a candidate for religious teachers really need to be equipped with the ability to read the Qur’an. Religious teachers as the main person in charge of Al-Quran education for students in schools must have deep competence in the Qur'an. Among the competences of the Qur’an that must be possessed is proficiency in reading the Qur’an. That is, before an Islamic Religious Education student is assigned to become an educator at school, the student must be equipped with good competence, in the context of this study the author specifically discusses competence in aspects of reading the Qur’an. This study aims to determine the competency of reading the Qur’an for Islamic Religious Studies students in the Tashih Recitation of the Qur’an program. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. The data source was taken from thirty-two informants, namely students from class 2020-2021 using a questionnaire. All data were then analyzed descriptively using the SPSS Windows version 25 quantitative analysis tool (Statistical Package for Social Scrience Version 25) Overall the results of the analysis of this study indicate that the program tashih recitation of the Qur’an is a program that supports students in improving their reading of the Qur’an, bearing in mind that there are still students who are not fluent in reading the Qur’an so this program is a solution to this problem. Then there is an increase in the ability to read the Qur’an as a result of the implementation of this program with a percentage (12.5%) to (6.25%) in the very low category, (68.75%) to (15.2%) in the low category, (9.38%) became (62.5%) in the moderate category, (6.25%) became (9.38%) in the high category and settled at (3.12%) for the very high category.

Abstract

Due to the queries of whether the implementation of contextual teaching strategy in teaching Islamic education is in line with Al-Quran and Hadits or not, the research tries to search for the historical facts, and the relevant verses in Al-Quran and Hadits. This was a qualitative research describing whether the contextual teaching consisting of seven components have relevance and strong base in islamic tradition. The result shows the contextual teaching principles such as, constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, modelling, reflection, and authentic assessment have strong relation and foundation in Al-Quran, Hadits, and Islamic history. It can be concluded that contextual teaching is applicable in teaching Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the motivation of parents in Tampunik Village to send their children to religious schools. The type of research used is a qualitative research approach with a descriptive orientation. Based on the results of data processing and data analysis, the researcher draws the conclusion that the motivation of parents to send their children to religious schools is that children can learn religious knowledge in accordance with Islamic law and can practice it in their daily lives.
