Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada kecamatan Moa. Mitra untuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sekolah-sekolah yang tergabung dalam kelompok MKKS kecamatan Moa. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan desain pembelajaran berorientasi computational thinking berbantuan aplikasi GeoGebra.  Tahapan kegiatan terdiri atas tahap awal, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Pada tahapan awal dilakukan observasi terhadap permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra lebih khusus kepada guru matematika SMP se-kecamatan Moa. Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri atas kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Sosialisasi dan pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua hari secara terstruktur. Sedangkan pendampingan dilaksanakan selama satu bulan secara tidak terstruktur. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan desain pembelajaran berorientasi computational thinking berbantuan GeoGebra. Peningkatan keterampilan juga tercapai dengan bukti produk berupa modul ajar berorientasi computational thiking berbantuan GoeGebra yang dibuat oleh setiap peserta selama proses pendampingan.

Abstract

Representasi matematis merupakan kemampuan fundamental yang harus dikuasai siswa untuk memahami konsep matematika, khususnya pada materi fungsi kuadrat yang memiliki tingkat kompleksitas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan representasi matematis siswa kelas IX pada materi fungsi kuadrat berdasarkan indikator representasi visual, simbolik, dan verbal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian tiga siswa kelas IXA SMP Negeri 1 Kairatu yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria kemampuan komunikasi dan penyelesaian soal. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara mendalam, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Subjek EP dan MP mampu memenuhi ketiga indikator representasi matematis pada soal 1 dan 2, namun mengalami kesulitan pada representasi visual untuk menggambar grafik pada soal 3. Subjek FT menunjukkan variasi kemampuan: memenuhi ketiga indikator pada soal 2, dua indikator pada soal 1, dan hanya satu indikator pada soal 3. Kemampuan representasi visual, khususnya dalam menggambar grafik fungsi kuadrat, menjadi tantangan utama bagi siswa. Diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan representasi visual siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creative thinking of class IX students of Kusu-Kusu Christian Middle School, Sereh Ambon, in solving quadratic equation problems. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, carried out at the Kusu-kusu Christian Middle School Sereh Ambon in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This study's data sources were grade IX students with a total of 6 subjects, namely two subjects with high, medium, and low abilities. Three subjects were interviewed from the creative thinking test results, namely, 1 with high, medium, and low abilities. Two instruments are used in this study: the main instrument, the researcher, acts as a data collector: a companion instrument, creative thinking test sheets and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests given to subjects who have studied the quadratic equation material, interviews conducted after the subjects have completed the test questions, and documentation, namely photos and videos, by following the steps of the data collection procedure. Data analysis techniques were carried out using data reduction, namely removing interview snippet data that were not by the research flow, presenting data in the form of narrative texts, and conclusions or verification, namely drawing conclusions based on test and interview results, for objectivity and validity. Data is used with credibility (degree of trust), which involves triangulation of sources. The results showed that high-ability subjects could solve three questions properly and correctly, which met all indicators of creative thinking in solving problems. Moderately capable subjects could only solve two questions and only met several indicators of creative thinking, and low-ability subjects could not complete questions correctly and adequately

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemecahan masalah bentuk aljabar pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Ambon. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan JK, JP, dan FS sebagai subjek yang dipilih untuk diwawancarai sesuai pertimbangan guru. Data penelitian berupa soal tes dan pedoman wawancara yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini sebagai berikut: JK dapat memenuhi keempat indikator pemecahan masalah, JP dapat memenuhi tiga dari keempat indikator pemecahan masalah, dan FS hanya memenuhi satu dari keempat indikator pemecahan masalah

Abstract

The community service carried out at SMAN 1 Seram Barat has the aim of preparing teachers to face teacher professional education (PPG) by providing complete information about PPG in the form of lectures and training in portfolio preparation. This activity is to meet the needs of teachers based on the results of interviews, admitting that they lack knowledge about teacher professional education and have difficulty making portfolios. The number of teachers who participated in this activity was 23 people. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the level of satisfaction in participating in the activities reached 87.83% while the percentage of the level of ease of understanding the material of the activity was 86.52% and the level of usefulness of the material was 89.13%

Abstract

Mathematics learning is currently still focused on material goals, which means that students passively accept mathematical knowledge as "goods" which are transferred by the teacher. The teacher as an important component of the learning process requires learning facilities or media that support the learning. The purpose of this program is to train teachers in preparing learning tools based on realistic mathematics education (RME). This program was implemented in SMA Negeri 9 Maluku Tengah, Tehoru District, Maluku Tengah Regency and elementary and junior high school teachers throughout Tehoru-Telutih District as the target of the activity. This program is carried out in several stages, namely planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. At the planning stage, coordination was carried out with the District Coordinator of Tehoru-Telutih and partners. The instruments used were a survey of prior knowledge and a participant satisfaction questionnaire. At the implementation stage, initial surveys, training and demonstrations were carried out. Based on the results of joint evaluation and reflection between the implementers and partner teachers, this PPM program is considered to have run very well, there are only suggestions for improvement, namely additional practice time which should be longer. This program is expected to increase partner teachers' mastery of RME-based learning tools and will continue and develop not only in Tehoru-Telutih District, but also for teachers throughout Maluku Tengah Regency

Abstract

The implementation of this community service aims to help teachers use technology as a learning medium during Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) and Distance Learning (PJJ) activities at junior high schools in Ambon City, where problems that often occur are related to improving teacher pedagogic competence. The object of this activity is all junior high school teachers of mathematics subjects in Ambon City. The learning process not only provides information from teachers to students, but learning must be prepared properly, one of which is through the provision of interesting learning media and by the times. Technology-based learning media solutions that can be used in the industrial era 4.0 are Geogebra Software and Swish Max, so that achievements in the learning implementation process can be obtained optimally. This training activity through community service (PkM) provides space for teachers to innovate in developing the quality of learning through the development of appropriate learning media

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of question preparation, service activities were carried out in the form of workshops on preparing question grids and analyzing question items. This activity was carried out at SMP Negeri Tiakur, with the target audience being teachers at that school. The achievement of implementing activities is measured by creating a participant satisfaction questionnaire. From the results of the satisfaction questionnaire analysis, very good results were obtained with an average percentage of 97.14%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 4 Tanimbar Selatan kelas VIII yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tipe penelitian eksperimen (Quasi Experimental Design). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posstest only group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tanimbar Selatan dengan jumlah 47 siswa, dan semua jumlah populasi tersebut dijadikan sebagai sampel, diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 4 Tanimbar Selatan kelas VIII yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Hal ini ditunjukk an pada hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan SPSS 22.0 yang diperoleh menunjukan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 lebih kecil dari α = 0.05, sehingga menyebabkan H0 ditolak, dan H1 diterima

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekskripsikan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Lolong Guba pada materi operasi hitung pecahan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Lolong Guba. Subjek ditentukan berdasarkan hasil tes awal dan pertimbangan guru matematika yang mengajar di kelas tersebut. Subjek yang diteliti sebanyak 3 orang siswa, subjek berkemampuan tinggi, subjek berkemampuan sedang, dan subjek berkemampuan rendah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes awal yang diberikan oleh guru kepada sumber data untuk menentukan subjek penelitian, setelah itu subjek diberikan tes tertulis yang memuat 4 butir soal uraian dengan materi operasi hitung pecahan, selanjutnya setelah memeriksa hasil tes operasi hitung pecahan, peneliti melakukan wawancara sesuai dengan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berpikir kreatif subjek berkemampuan tinggi mampu mencapai tingkat kreatif, berpikir kreatif subjek berkemampuan sedang hanya mampu mencapai tingkat cukup kreatif, dan berpikir kreatif subjek berkemampuan rendah hanya mencapai tingkat tidak kreatif. Uji keabsahan data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan uji credibility
