Abstract

The increasing number of elderly people in Indonesia demands improved quality of geriatric care, particularly in communication, where empathetic communication plays a key role in building a strong therapeutic relationship between doctors and elderly patients. This study is a literature review that aims to evaluate the effectiveness of empathic language on the quality of therapeutic relationships in the context of geriatric services. Articles were selected through an identification and screening process using specific keywords in databases such as Sinta, Neliti, Garuda, and Google Scholar, with inclusion criteria that include studies in the last 10 years, in Indonesian or English, full-text, and are primary research. The results show that empathic communication through cognitive and affective empathy plays a significant role in increasing patient trust, adherence to treatment, and clinical and psychosocial outcomes, such as decreased anxiety and increased quality of life. Communication strategies include the use of simple language, personal attention, and consistent emotional engagement. Implementation barriers include high workload and a lack of training. Empathy training in medical curriculum, the development of patient-centered communication guidelines, and the holistic implementation of the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) are essential.

Abstract

Di era modern sekarang Listrik merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok. untuk berbagai keperluan, mulai dari penerangan, hinggan keperluan rumah tangga. Tuntutan akan kualitas hidup yang lebih baik telah menyebabkan diproduksinya berbagai peralatan listrik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia. Dalam menghadapi masalah ini perlu adanya layanan kepada masyarakat kegiatan pengabdian Pelatihan cara pemasangan instalasi listrik bagi karang taruna Desa Seritanjung Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah Pelatihan cara pemasangan instalasi kabel listrik di rumah warga menjadi rapi, terpasangnya kabel, saklar, stop kontak dan lampu warga yang berstandar SNI serta warga menjadi tahu akan pentingnya pemasangan instalasi listrik yang baik dan benar sehingga warga dapat aman terhindar atau meminimalisir dari bahaya korsleting listrik. pada dasarnya adalah segala upaya atau langkah-langkah pengamanan terhadap instalasi tenaga listrik, peralatan serta pemanfaat listrik untuk mewujudkan kondisi andal dan aman, baik bagi pekerja maupun masyarakat umum menurut SNI 0225 atau Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL).

Abstract

Power transformers are crucial in the electrical distribution system, and their operational stability is significantly affected by load imbalance among phases. Load imbalance can lead to the flow of neutral current through the neutral conductor, causing additional power losses in the transformer. This study analyzes the impact of load imbalance on neutral current and power losses at Transformer 1 (30 MVA capacity, 70/20 kV) at the Bungaran Substation. Data such as phase current, neutral current, and power losses were measured at 12:00 and 21:00. At 12:00, the transformer’s full-load current was 839.17 A with a loading of 28.44% and a load imbalance of 0.74%, resulting in a neutral current of 4.36 A (1.83% of load current). The power loss due to neutral current was 12.64 W (4.36×10-5 %), and the loss due to neutral current flowing to the ground was 760 W (2.62×10-3 %). At 21:00, the full-load current decreased to 834.46 A, with a loading of 29.36% and a higher load imbalance of 1.36%. This caused a neutral current of 7.94 A (3.24%), with a power loss of 41.90 W (1.43×10-4 %) and a ground power loss of 2.52 W (8.60×10-3 %). The power losses were minimal compared to the transformer’s capacity, having little effect on system efficiency. However, maintaining load balance is essential for system efficiency and transformer longevity.
