Abstract

Abstract: Instructional media course which aims to develop the potential of studentsthrough the concept of learning media (non-ICT), as a medium of learning ICT there is aseparate subject. The use of media in the classroom learning relevant to optimize thelearning process. One of the subjects of learning media competence is to produceinstructional media based on relevance, basic competence, materials and characteristics ofstudents with the use of goods that exist around. This research is a class action that aimsto improve the creativity of students in the use of second-hand goods in the course of nonICT learning media. The subjects of this study were students of the second semester ofthe third level which consists of 40 students. Stages of research include planning, action,observation, and reflection in three cycles. Actions taken in the form of student creativityin the use of second-hand goods in the course of learning media. Data were collectedthrough interviews, observation, test, attitude scale, field notes and documentation.Triangulation data is done to avoid the subjectivity of the observer. The success rate ofthis study when the average observation creativity-average students gain rata ≥ 2,4 oneach indicator with good criterion, which was obtained from each end of a cycle or aquestionnaire if the average gain ≥ 70% with good criteria, derived from each end of thecycle. The results showed that the students' skills in the use of second-hand goods as amedium of learning through aspect 4 P which includes creative personalities, press /impulse, the creativeprocess, and creative products that are more focused on processsteps keratif with stages Preparation, incubation, illumination, and Verification at thecycles 1, 2 and 3 continued to increase. Abstrak: Matakuliah media pembelajaran yang bertujuan mengembangkan potensimahasiswa melalui konsep media pembelajaran (non ICT), karena media pembelajaranICT ada mata kuliah tersendiri. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang relevan dalamkelas dapat mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran. Salah satu kompetensi matakuliahmedia pembelajaran adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran berdasarkan relevansi, kompetensi dasar,  materi dan  karakteristik  siswa dengan pemanfaatan barang-barangyang ada disekitar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuanuntuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam pemanfaatan barang-barang bekas padamata kuliah media pembelajaran non ICT. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkatII semester III yang terdiri dari 40 mahasiswa. Tahap-tahap penelitian meliputiperencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi dalam tiga siklus. Tindakan yang dilakukanberupa kreativitas mahasiswa dalam pemanfaatan barang-barang bekas pada mata kuliahmedia pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, tes, skala sikap,catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Trianggulasi data dilakukan untuk menghindarisubjektivitas dari observer. Tingkat keberhasilan penelitian ini apabila rata-rata observasikreativitas mahasiswa memperoleh rata-rata ≥ 2,4 pada setiap indikatornya dengan kriteriabaik, yang diperoleh dari tiap akhir siklus atau angket jika memperoleh rata-rata ≥ 70%dengan kriteria baik, yang diperoleh dari tiap akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menujukkanbahwa keterampilan mahasiswa dalam pemanfaatan barang-barang bekas sebagai mediapembelajaran melalui aspek 4 P yang meliputi pribadi kreatif, press/dorongan, proseskreatif, dan produk kreatif yang lebih difokuskan pada langkah proses keratif dengantahapan Persiapan, inkubasi, iluminasi, dan verifikasi pada siklus 1, 2, dan 3 terusmeningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia on Civic Education learning oriented value clarification techniques that are valid, practical, effective, and interesting for students. Interactive multimedia is selected to maximize available technological facilities, innovate learning and enhance learning attractiveness. Value clarification techniques are used to innovate a series of learning steps on interactive multimedia and can be used to train students to discover, select, analyze, decide, take on their own values ​​of life they want to fight for. The material on this multimedia is about legislation. The models used in this development study are modification of Borg & Gall (1987) and Lee & Owen (2004) models. Through expert validation and product trials, this interactive multimedia is included in valid criteria (4,60), practical (4,53), attractive (4,31), and effective (85,2). For further product development, it should be innovated with strategies or other learning models and different materials. Keywords: interactive multimedia, Civic, value clarification techniques

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes before the aapplication of the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model supported by video tutorials on the material of heat and its transfer < 75, to determine stundet learning outcomes after the application of the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model supported by video tutorials on the material of heat and its transfer ≥ 75, to determine ehether there is n effect of the application of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model supported by video tutorial on the material of heat and its transfer on student learning outcomes. The research methodology used is quantitative whit a One Grub Pretetst-Posttest research design. The population in this study were 30 students of grade V SDN Mlancu 2. The sample used in this study was a total sampling of 30 students. The insrtuments used were pretest and posttest. The pretest was used before treatment was given, the posttest was used after treatment was given. Research results (1) student learning otcomes before the application of the Predict-Observe-Explain model supported by video tutorials on the material on heat and its transfer < 75 (2) student learning otcomes after the application of the Predict-Observe-Explain model supported by video tutorials on the material on heat and its transfer ≥ 75 (3) there is an influence of the application of the Predict-Observe-Explain learning model supported by video tutorials on the material of heat and its transfer on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in; 1) Students, 2) Parents, and 3) Teachers on the Sustainability of Learning. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative research. The data source in this study was 202 students, 119 guardians of students, and 33 elementary school teachers in five sub-districts (Puncu, Kandangan, Mojo, Tarokan, and Baiyakan) Kediri Regency. Data collection techniques use quizzes, interviews, and documentation. The Miles and Huberman model uses the data analysis technique with data reduction measures, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed that; 1) Students are finished at the decline in competencies and characters that have been formed in face-to-face learning activities in schools in the form of learning outcomes, discipline, power, and learning interest that tend to be faster, understanding and completeness of learning outcomes, learning concentration, the intensity of guidance and Consult with Teacher also students. 2) Diversity background guardians of students in terms of education, age, work, income, experience, social and competence greatly affect the sustainability, assistance, and learning outcomes of children. Many students who are less successful in holding a baton from the teacher are caused by the diversity of the background possessed. 3) Inflanganization of infrastructure and facilities is a major obstacle for teachers in developing online learning for their students. This has an impact on children's motivation and learning outcomes during online learning in the Pandemic Covid-19 period. The results of this study are very important as the basis for improving further education quality.

Abstract

The problem parents experience today is being wise parents to introduce smartphones to children. This is what makes parents a dilemma to provide smartphone facilities to children or not. Because there are two influences that will arise when parents provide smartphone facilities to children. First, the positive effect is to support online learning activities, . The second effect is the negative effect, namely the child does not explore the physical environment, the child has difficulty interacting socially, the child gets emotional easily and the memory decline due to prolonged. In this service activity, there will be counseling to parents about how to wisely introduce smartphones to children. The target of this service is the parents of Al Amin Foundation Kindergarten Kediri and carried out on November 12, 2019. Material and assistance about wisely introducing smartphones to children can generate knowledge and insights to parents on how to wisely introduce smartphones to children. A wise way to introduce smartphones to children is to allocate time for children to play smartphones, make smartphones as learning tools containing educational applications, provide assistance to children when using smartphones, and be selective in choosing smartphones for children.

Abstract

Since the establishment of the Covid-19 pandemic alert, the government has made recommendations to carry out all activities at home, including teaching and learning activities in schools. Home learning that is carried out online using a mobile phone has the effect of gadget addiction on children. This has an impact on patterns of social interaction in children which have an effect on lowering cultural literacy in children. Based on this problem, the COD (Campus On Duty) TEAM is trying to assist the implementation of cultural literacy in several schools in the Kediri district. The PKM program activities include 4 stages, namely the preparation, implementation, program evaluation, and reporting stages. The target to be achieved is the application of cultural literacy through simple activities and traditional games to rebuild students' patterns of social interaction. The result of this PKM is cultural literacy assistance which has been carried out in several schools in the Kediri district

Abstract

The Campus on Duty program is one of the initiatives of Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediriin collaboration with the Kediri Regency government which aims to improve the quality ofeducation in elementary schools, especially in Kediri or less developed regency areas. One ofthe main focuses of this program is to improve the literacy and numeracy of elementary schoolstudents. This article discusses the effectiveness of the Campus on Duty (CoD) program inimproving students' literacy and numeracy skills at elementary school level. Based on theresults of studies from various journal sources, this program is proven to have a positiveimpact on the basic skills possessed by students, although there are still several challengesfaced, such as limited time and resources. Therefore, it is important to carry out furtherevaluation and development so that this program can be more optimal in its achievements.This research also provides recommendations for improving the quality of programimplementation, both in terms of teacher development, implemented curriculum, and supportfrom the government and community

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji keefektifan multimedia interaktif berbasis Android sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi perubahan wujud benda untuk siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan media, pengembangan produk, implementasi pada siswa, dan evaluasi produk. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui kevalidan Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif berbasis Android pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda (2) Untuk mengetahui keefektifan Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif berbasis Android pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda (3) Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif berbasis Android pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memadukan teks, gambar, animasi, audio, dan kuis interaktif yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep perubahan wujud benda. Uji coba dilakukan pada siswa kelas III di salah satu Sekolah Dasar dengan menggunakan metode pretest-posttest untuk mengukur efektivitas media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbasis Android ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 78-80% dibandingkan sebelum penggunaan media. Penilaian dari siswa dan guru menunjukkan bahwa media ini dinilai mudah digunakan, menarik, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, media ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan lebih lanjut pada materi pembelajaran lain untuk memperluas penerapannya. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, media ini juga dinilai menarik, mudah digunakan, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Oleh karena itu, multimedia interaktif ini dapat dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran dalam mendukung pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk materi pembelajaran lainnya agar manfaatnya lebih luas.

Abstract

The science learning process (IPAS) in Grade 4 at SDN Macanan 1 still relies solely on textbooks as the main learning resource, resulting in low student engagement and difficulty in understanding the material, particularly the topic of changes in the states of matter. Based on observations and interviews, only 13 out of 40 students met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP) score of 75. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Nearpod-based instructional media to improve students' learning outcomes. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 40 fourth-grade students, and the data were collected through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The instructional media were tested in both limited and wider trials. The limited trial showed a mastery level of 80%, while the wider trial showed 86.6%. These results indicate that the Nearpod-based instructional media are highly effective in improving students’ learning outcomes, exceeding the KKTP score, and can be implemented without any revisions.

Abstract

Training in reading gamelan notation for elementary school students is a strategic effort to introduce and nurture traditional musical literacy from an early age. This activity was carried out at SDN Kedunglosari, Tembelang District, Jombang, for two days involving 35 fourth and fifth grade students. The main objective was to provide basic understanding of the numerical symbols (1–7) in Javanese gamelan notation and to improve students' ability to read and perform gamelan notation collaboratively. The methods used included demonstrative and participatory approaches through hands-on practice, tone-based educational games, and visual media. The results showed that 91.4% of students actively participated, with average satisfaction and understanding scores in the "very good" category. Beyond enhancing musical literacy, the program also strengthened student collaboration, concentration, and appreciation of local cultural values. This initiative is expected to serve as a foundational model for culture-based art education at the primary level and be replicable in other schools.
