Abstract

Influencer marketing is a popular promotional strategy on Instagram that involves influential individuals or public figures to promote products. However, there are problems where companies still find it difficult to find the right influencers. This research aims to build a Content-Based Filtering-based Instagram influencer recommendation system to support digital marketing strategies. The system development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with 4 stages, namely requirements planning, system design, development, and implementation. With this system, users can recommend other influencers who have similar characteristics such as number of followers, average likes, and comments, engagement rate, and growth rate. System testing was conducted on 10 test data with different inputs. The results showed that 9 out of 10 tests matched the user input, indicating a system accuracy of 90% and has the potential to assist users in selecting relevant influencers.

Abstract

Landslides are one of the natural disasters that often occur in Indonesia due to the geographical conditions dominated by mountainous and hilly areas, coupled with high rainfall. Landslides can cause huge losses and casualties due to the absence of a system that can provide real-time warnings as a preventive measure. This research aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based landslide early detection system that is able to detect environmental conditions that have the potential for landslides in real-time. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller as the control center connected with a rain sensor (YL-83), a tilt sensor (MPU6050), and a soil moisture sensor (Capacitive Soil Moisture). Data from the sensors is sent via RESTful API and WebSocket with WiFi connection to the monitoring website. The system is also equipped with a buzzer and RGB LED as a warning indicator if environmental conditions are detected that have the potential for landslides. For a power source, a rechargeable 18650 battery is used and combined with a Step-Up and Charger Module J5019 to maintain voltage stability. The test results conducted in the test environment obtained 40 experimental data with stable sensor readings, and all components can function properly and can display data on the monitoring website. This system offers a practical solution to support disaster mitigation in landslide-prone areas.

Abstract

Inaccurate management of raw material inventory leads to operational inefficiency and cost overruns in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the culinary industry where demand is highly fluctuating and difficult to predict. This study develops a raw material stock prediction system using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm with a Waterfall system development approach, applied to the case of "Mizan and Sunan" grilled bread producers operating across seven branches. The dataset consists of nine months of historical demand data, comprising 5,142 entries with eight main attributes. Data preprocessing includes Min-Max Scaling normalization, sequential data formation using a three-day sliding window, and chronological splitting of training and testing datasets. The LSTM model is trained to predict daily stock requirements, with evaluation conducted using Mean Squared Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results show an MSE of 403.28, MAE of 10.38, and MAPE of 10.79%, indicating good predictive accuracy. The novelty of this research lies in the application of an LSTM model based on multi-branch MSME culinary historical data characterized by fluctuating demand, along with the development of an adaptive prediction system to support precise procurement decision-making. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of LSTM as a practical data-driven solution for inventory management in multi-branch MSME operations.

Abstract

The spread of hoax news on digital platforms demands an automatic detection system based on Neural Networks. However, the performance of these models is heavily influenced by hyperparameter configuration, where manual determination is time-consuming and prone to overfitting. This study aims to compare the performance of Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Hybrid GA-PSO in optimizing hyperparameters of Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) architectures for detecting hoax news in Indonesian. Quantitative experiments were conducted using 4,132 news data, extracted through TF-IDF and Word2Vec, then trained and evaluated based on the level of classification accuracy and convergence quality. The test results show that the effectiveness of the optimization algorithm is highly dependent on the model architecture. In the baseline ANN model, PSO performed optimally with an accuracy of 96.3% and an F1-Score of 96.3% due to its ability to exploit parameters stably. In the CNN model, PSO experienced overfitting, making GA the best method with 95.4% accuracy due to its advantage in maintaining model generalization on new data. Meanwhile, for the LSTM sequential model, pure GA experienced model collapse with accuracy dropping to 49.9%. The Hybrid GA-PSO approach proved to be the most optimal method for LSTM, dominating with the highest accuracy of 96.5%, a precision rate of 97.2%, and an F1-score of 96.5%. In conclusion, algorithm hybridization is highly recommended for complex architectures to overcome the weaknesses of a single algorithm while producing sharp predictions that precisely distinguish facts from hoaxes.
