Abstract

Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari variable X yakni penggunaan media pembelajaran roda putar terhadap variabel Y yaitu minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V dalam mata pelajaran matematika di UPTD SDN Pejagan 4. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen one group pretest - posttest, dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 22 siswa. Pada fase awal, instrumen untuk pengujiannya menggunakan angket dan tes untuk melihat minat dan hasil belajar dari siswa. Selanjutnya pengolahan data eksperimen pada penelitian ini menggunakan paired sample t-test dan memperlihatkan perbedaan hasil yang signifikan yakni peningkatan hasil dan minat belajar siswa setelah perlakuan (nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05). Pada uji selanjutnya yakni uji Manova, menegaskan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran ini memiliki dampak positif dari variabel X terhadap variabel Y. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyarankan pentingnya integrasi media pembelajaran inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan pencapaian akademik siswa.

Abstract

The prevalence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in the Riau Islands is a concerning public health issue, with 18.7% of non-pregnant women reported to be affected. In Batam City specifically, 95 cases of undernutrition were recorded in 2024. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between food intake and the nutritional status of women of reproductive age experiencing CED. A descriptive correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study used total sampling, involving 31 women from the Batu Aji KUA in Batam. Data on food intake were collected and compared to recommended dietary standards. The findings indicated that a majority of women had food intake levels below the recommended daily allowance. Despite this, not all of the participants were found to be suffering from CED. Statistical analysis using the Chi-square test revealed a significant association between food intake and nutritional status (p = 0.025, where α = 0.05), suggesting that food intake plays an influential role in determining nutritional outcomes. Furthermore, women whose food intake was lower than the recommended levels were found to have a 0.611 times greater risk of experiencing chronic energy deficiency. These findings emphasize the crucial role of adequate energy and nutrient intake, especially among women of reproductive age, in preventing CED and improving overall health. Improving food consumption patterns in this demographic is essential not only for individual well-being but also as a preventive measure to reduce the risk of stunting in future generations. The study underscores the need for targeted educational interventions to increase awareness about proper nutrition and energy intake among women, particularly those in reproductive age, as a strategy to address undernutrition and its broader public health consequences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap pemahaman dan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas II di SDN Tengket 03. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu dan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal uraian untuk mengukur pemahaman dan angket skala Likert untuk mengukur kemandirian. Teknik analisis data mencakup uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, uji paired sample t-test, serta uji MANOVA dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, baik pada pemahaman maupun kemandirian siswa, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil uji MANOVA juga menunjukkan signifikansi 0,007 < 0,05, yang mengindikasikan bahwa model Discovery Learning memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman dan kemandirian siswa. Dengan demikian, model ini terbukti efektif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran matematika di kelas II sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the histological and histomorphometric characteristics of the skin of domestic fowl (Gallus gallus domesticus), ducks (Anas platyrhynchos), and doves (Columba livia) in the ventral abdominal region. Each study sample consisted of six individuals. The samples were processed into histological preparations with a thickness of 5 m and then stained using Haematoxylin-Eosin (HE). The results showed that the histological structure of the skin of domestic fowl, ducks, and doves is relatively thin compared to the structure of mammalian skin and consists of the epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis (subcutis). The histomorphometric data analysis showed that the thickness of the epidermal layer of the skin in the ventral abdominal region of domestic fowl, ducks, and doves was not significantly different (P0.05), but there were significant differences (P0.05) in the thickness of the dermis and hypodermis. It can be concluded that a similarity exists in the histological structure of the skin of domestic fowl, ducks, and doves, but differences are observed in the histomorphometric properties of the skin in the ventral abdominal region of these birds.

Abstract

To do well in a class, you must make sure you understand the material thoroughly. However, there will be times when certain students at SDN Gili Anyar have difficulty grasping the material, especially in the science sessions. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) learning resources in enhancing scientific education at SDN Gili Anyar. The research followed the standard procedure for quantitative studies by using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The significance level of 0.000, which is lower than the recognized threshold of 0.05, was shown by the results of the comprehension assessment's paired sample t-test. Students' understanding of scientific concepts is significantly enhanced by the virtual reality-based science learning medium at SDN Gili Anyar.

Abstract

Students' perception of mathematics is a difficult lesson that is still often encountered, especially in multiplication materials. This condition can be even more complex if learning is not supported by interesting and innovative media. The purpose of this study is to develop an interactive learning media based  on articulate storylines loaded with multiplication arithmetic and analyze its effectiveness in improving students' numeracy skills. The methodological research employed in this study is anchored in Research and Development (R&D), utilizing the ADDIE model, which encompasses five distinct phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used are observation sheets for the implementation of learning and tests. The results of the small group test and the large group test showed that the students' learning completeness reached 100% and the implementation of learning went well. Therefore, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media developed was declared effective in encouraging the improvement of the numeracy skills of grade IV students of SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan.
