Abstract

Pada saat ini teknologi informasi mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat dan tentunya membawa perubahan dalam masyarakat. Penggunaan media sosial yang semakin tinggi sejalan dengan mudahnya akses internet bagi banyak orang. Jejaring sosial salah satunya instagram memudahkan netizen memperoleh informasi secara cepat. Dalam berkomunikasi netizen selaku pengguna media sosial menggunakan bahasa yang berbeda, misalnya muncul campur kode yang mencampuradukkan bahasa satu ke bahasa yang lain, pada komentar netizen di akun instagram Persib Official. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk campur kode yang terdapat pada komentar instagram  Persib Official pada bulan maret 2020. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui hasil rekam data tangkap layar (screenshot) pada komentar yang dianggap terdapat campur kode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya campur kode bentuk kata, ungkapan, baster, frasa, dan klausa.

Abstract

This research is based on the low ability to write inspirational texts of students in junior high school. Thus, researchers offer a model of experiential learning as an alternative to teaching and learning so that learning can be more meaningful. In this case, the formulation of the problem taken in the research is how students respond to the use of experiential learning models? The study aims to determine students' responses to the experiential learning model. The method used is descriptive qualitative. From the data processing method in this study, the results of 9% of students' positive responses to the use of experiential lerning models were obtained.

Abstract

Short story writing learning is generally considered a difficult thing for students to do because of the equivalence of titles, themes and storylines that are difficult to balance by students so that when writing short stories many students have difficulty in expressing ideas to finish writing in written stories. This research was conducted at Padalarang Vocational High School, which is located in Padalarang, West Bandung Regency. This study aims to foster interest in writing, especially in writing short stories. The formulation of the problem faced in this research is How is the implementation of learning and the results of writing short text using a contextual approach ?. This research method uses descriptive qualitative and uses data collection techniques in the form of skills tests. Based on the results of research during learning activities indicate that the activities of short story writing using an approach (contextual teaching and learning) are very good with an average result of 18.32 with a percentage of 91.60% where the prensetase is included as very good criteria.                                                                                                           Keywords: Learning, Short Story Writing, Contextual

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the development of teaching materials about the learning plan of writing procedural text with the discovery learning method in class XI SMA, the implementation of learning to write procedural texts with the discovery learning method in class XI SMA, and the assessment process of learning to write procedural texts using the discovery learning method in class XI. The subjects of this study were a class XI teacher and a class XI high school student. The things that are considered in this study are about the planning, implementation, and assessment process in learning to write procedural texts using the discovery learning method. The research data is in the form of observation and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the learning plan using the discovery learning method by the teacher has met the specified implementation standards. The success of a learning plan can be seen from the steps that are fulfilled according to the standard procedures for preparation of learning preparation using the discovery learning method. The implementation of learning can be categorized as successful in using the discovery learning method for learning to write procedural texts. The success of learning can be seen from the learning steps carried out by the teacher using the discovery learning method and student work results before and after using the discovery learning method in learning to write procedural text.

Abstract

Language is a medium to communicate in social life so it is with the Indonesian language which is the official language that its use has been widespread and involving various areas of life. The author formulates the problem as follows: 1. Are students' fast reading skills using the Quantum Reading model better than using a conventional approach? 2. Is the student's interest in learning using the Quantum Reading model more likely to increase than using a conventional approach? 3. Is there a correlation between student's learning interest and reading comprehension skills? Based on the formulation of this research problem aims to 1. Understanding students' reading comprehension skills learning using Quantum Reading model compared with learning using a confessional approach. 2. Analysis of student learning interest in learning by using the model of Quantum Reading compared with learning using a confessional approach. The author's hypothesis is 1. Fast reading skill learning using the Quantum Reading model is better than learning using conventional learning. 2. Interest in learning of students whose learning using Quantum Reading model is better than learning using conventional learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the students 'ability to write is still low, it is due to a lack of students' understanding of the material taught so that they are still confused to write and integrate words into full text. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of theprogram, lesson study especially in terms of improving the ability to write student observation report text. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on lesson study. The subject of this study was VII-F class students of MTs Nurul Falah, Cimahi City. The instruments used were observation sheets, RPPs, Student Worksheets (LKS), and test sheets of students' ability to write observational report text. The finding of this analysis is that implementing theprogram lesson study showed an increase in students' writing ability in the observation report text. This is known by the increasing number of students who show independence in the learning process, students are able to analyze the structure and rules of language contained in the text of the observation report. In addition, students are also able to compile the text of the observation report.

Abstract

Writing exposition text requires ideas that are logically arranged to be clearly expressed and arranged in an interesting manner so that researchers can draw conclusions about the ability of exposition texts to students to be stimulated by using the right method. So that in learning to write exposition text can be responded well by students. This article aims to explain the manifestation of writing exposition text in conveying factual and conceptual information to class X students at Pasundan Public Elementary School, the method used is an experimental method which is a derivative of a descriptive quantitative approach. After conducting in-depth research, it can be concluded that 14% of manifested students have been able to write exposition text by conveying information conceptually, 62% of manifested students have been able to write exposition text by presenting and writing data factually, 18% of students have not been able to write exposition text by conveying information conceptually and 6% of students have not been able to write exposition text by presenting, writing data factually. While the research method used is descriptive quantitative method.

Abstract

Writing short text requires the ability to cultivate the imagination to pour it into writing that is animate and interesting. In fact, creating imagination is not easy, therefore we need media that can help the process of getting ideas and generating students' interest in learning the short text. This research will use video wayang golek as a means to create characters according to the characters in the wayang golek play. The essence of this research is the achievement of students in determining interesting wayang golek figures and made according to personal imagination by imitating directly, modifying, or even changing the whole according to personal desires. The characters in wayang stories that are considered regionally will be packaged to be more interesting and modern according to the imagination a teenager. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative conducted in three stages, reading short stories, analyzing character characters, and describing character characters created from wayang golek. The results of the analysis show that the use of wayang golek media can improve students' abilities in creating character characters so as to create a short story text that has its own attractiveness, inherit adolescent imagination and thought, and can preserve the cultural richness of the West Java region. This wayang golek can also be used by teachers as an effective medium in learning. Students will find interesting parts and create their own character so as to create a process of independence in learning. and describe the characters created by wayang golek. Abstract

This study discusses reporting on "Election of Unpad Rector: Ombudsman Finds Two Maladministration" in print media. The background of this research is the alleged alignment of the daily Pikiran Rakyat daily newspaper in publishing news. The aim of this research is to find the position of Pikiran Rakyat's daily newspaper on the news of Unpad Rector Election: Ombudsman Finds Two Maladministration. Researchers began to analyze the news Unpad Chancellor Election: Ombudsman Discovered Two Malala Administration which was published in the Daily Mind newspaper on October 26, 2018 based on the theory of Teun A. Van Dijk. This study uses qualitative research methods and analysis with Teun A. Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis model based on several elements of discourse structure: Macro Structure, Super Structure, and Micro Structure. After analyzing the discourse, the researchers found that the print media of the People's Mind was neutral in a report entitled Unpad Rector Election: Ombudsman Finds Two Maladministration. The facts displayed in the media are only involved in the reporting process.

Abstract

Learning to edit short story texts is one of the lessons that are difficult for students to master. This is evident when observing the school that students feel difficulty in applying the text according to the grammar in a writing. The purpose of this study is 1) To describe the activities carried out by teachers and students when learning to edit short story texts using the think pair share model. 2) To find out the difference between the results of the initial test and the final test of learning to edit the short story text before and after using the think pair share model. 3) To describe students' responses to learning to edit short story texts using the think pair share model. The researcher used the pre-experimental design method, while the design of this study was one group pretest-posttest design. The population and sample of the study were conducted in one class, namely class XI with samples of class XI AP 2, amounting to 30 people. The results of teacher activity data on learning to edit short story texts using the think pair share model is 92% while student activities are 95%. This shows that the activities of teachers and students run effectively. While the results of the data obtained that there is an increase in the value of students before using the think pair share model on the initial test get an average value of 50 and experience an increase after using the think pair share model on the final test with an average value of 78. There is a difference in the average value students between pretest and posttest is 28. Based on the results of the t-test, the sig value is obtained 0,000, the value is ≤ 0.05. Thus, H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected. Then it can be concluded that learning to edit short story texts using the think pair share model increases students' ability to edit short story texts.
