Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the major health issues worldwide, with a significant number of cases and deaths in countries with high TB prevalence. Telemedicine is being used to improve diagnosis, treatment, and public health. We aimed to explore the effectiveness of telemedicine in TB treatment in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC). The study used a systematic literature review, using relevant keywords and inclusion criteria, and searched papers written in English between 2014 and 2023 from PubMed, Cochrane, and Embase databases. For inclusion, titles and abstracts were screened using PRISMA. From 849 studies, we found 13 studies fit the inclusion criteria. Telemedicine gives varying results on treatment success, patient compliance, and prevention of loss to follow-up. Mostly, the results are better but insignificant. Telemedicine facilitates the detection of TB cases, improves knowledge of TB, and improves patient-health worker relationships. In conclusion, telemedicine may be a promising approach to improving the effectiveness of TB treatment despite intervention effects being found to vary between one and each study. Advanced research is needed to evaluate the more optimum and wider implementation of telemedicine.

Abstract

AbstrakAkhir-akhir ini industri kreatif berkembang seiring arus globalisasi dan pasar bebas. Kondisi ini menggairahkan industri-industri kreatif baru bermunculan yang dapat menjadi andalan suatu daerah bahkan menjadikan predikat kota kreatif. Industri kreatif yang berkembang di bidang desain tiap kota dapat meningkatkan citra daerahnya, meningkatkan devisa, dan mengatasi pengangguran. Ada empat penggerak kreatif yaitu akademisi, pemerintah, kreator, dan pengusaha yang menjadikan industri kreatif semakin subur. Berbagai cara telah dilakukan oleh empat unsur tersebut hingga suatu kota menjadi terkenal, maka perlu dikaji melalui metode telaah kepustakaan dan pengamatan dengan memperhatikan teori dari Williamson tentang jenis kewirausahaan dan Philip Plus tentang tahapan dalam berkanya kreatif. Hasil diperoleh bahwa akademisi mengarah ke jiwa wirausaha yang inovasi, pemerintah mengarah ke wirausaha yang meniru, kreator mengarah ke wirausaha yang hati-hati, dan pengusaha mengarah ke wirausaha yang pemalas. Untuk memperkuat pembahasan maka diperkuat oleh hasil karya nyata kewirausahaan sebagai inspirasi orang lain dan bermanfaat dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: kewirausahaan, industri kreatif, kreator  AbstractLately, the creative industry has evolved by alongside the flow of globalization and free markets. This condition stimulates new creative industries emerging that can become a mainstay of an area even make the creative city becomes a predicate. Creative industries that develop in the design field every city can improve the image of the region, increase the number of foreign exchange, and tackling unemployment. There are four creative movers: academics, government, creators, and entrepreneurs that make the creative industry particularly fecund. Various ways have been done by the four elements until a city became famous, it needs to be studied through the method of literature and observation by taking into Williamson's theory of the type of entrepreneurship and Philip Plus’s theory of the stages in the creative work. The results obtained that academic has been leading to innovating entrepreneurship, the government has been leading to imitative entrepreneurship, creators have been leading to fabian entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurs have been leading to the drone entrepreneurship. To strengthen the discussion then reinforced by the real work of entrepreneurship as the inspiration of the others and useful in social life. Keywords: entrepreneurship, creative industry, creators

Abstract

AbstrakKlaim-mengklaim batik pernah terjadi antara Indonesia dengan Malaysia. Hal ini menyebabkan hubungan kedua negara kurang harmonis. Berdasarkan pengalaman ini, penulis Universitas Negeri Malang dan Universitas Putera Malaysia melakukan penelitian dan penciptaan motif batik serumpun Malayu yang dapat dimiliki bersama dan dapat dikembangkan bersama. Motif batik yang diciptakan tersebut hingga saat ini belum memiliki logo merek sebagai identitas diri. Maka dari itu perlu diciptakan logo merek yang didekatkan dengan budaya di kedua negara serumpun Melayu. Nilai-nilai budaya Melayu dan keIslaman sangat mendominasi pada logo tersebut secara visual maupun verbal. Sebelum menciptakan logo diperlukan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode deskripstif kualitatif yang datanya diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumen, dan kepustakaan. Agar data valid lebih bermakna maka dilakukan proses triangulasi kemudian dianalisis yang hasilnya sebagai dasar untuk mendesain logo dengan menggunakan teori kreativitas dari Bryan Lawson bahwa dalam proses mendesain dapat dilakukan melalui first insight, preparation, incubation, illumination, dan verification. Melalui tahapan proses kreatif inilah tercipta logo merek batik “Asimilasi Indolaysia” sebagai hasil penggabungan artefak budaya Indonesia dengan Malaysia. Terciptanya logo ini diharapkan dapat peningkatan keharmonisan dua negara yang saling menghormati, memiliki, serta mengembangkan hasil budaya serumpun Melayu. Kata kunci: artefak Melayu, asimilasi budaya, deformasi bentuk, logo merek AbstractThe claim of batik has occurred between Indonesia and Malaysia. It causes the relations between the two countries to be less harmonious. Based on this experience, authors of Universitas Negeri Malang and Universitas Putera Malaysia conducted research and created a Malay cognate batik pattern that can be shared and developed together. The batik pattern created so far does not have a brand logo as their identity. Therefore, it is necessary to create a brand logo that is closer to the culture in the two countries of Malay cognate. Malay cultural values and Islamic values dominate the logo visually and verbally. Before creating a logo, field research needed by using a qualitative descriptive method, in which data obtained through observation, interviews, documents, and literature. To gain more meaningful valid data a triangulation process is analyzed. The results of which used as the basis for designing a logo using Bryan Lawson's theory of creativity that the process of designing can be done through first insight, preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification. Through the stages of this creative process, the batik brand logo "Asimilasi Indolaysia" was created as a result of the merging of Indonesian cultural artifacts with Malaysia. The creation of this logo expected to increase harmony between the two countries that respect each other, possess, and develop the Malay cognate's cultural output. Keywords: brand logo, cultural assimilation, deformation of forms, malay artifacts

Abstract

AbstrakJamu tradisional merupakan warisan budaya Indonesia diantara keragaman, hasil dari budaya yang memiliki keragaman jamu tradisional. Salah satunya daerah Banyuwangi yang merupakan penghasil jamu tradisional yang terdapat di wilayah Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes yang menganalisis elemen visual pada desain kemasan jamu Banyuwangi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Konotasi, Denotasi dan Mitos dalam visual sangat tampak budaya yang terdapat pada desain kemasan jamu di Banyuwangi sehingga prinsip desain terbantuk seirama dan memiliki kesatuan. Hal ini membuat desain kemasan jamu melekat pada masyarakat Banyuwangi sehinga produsen mempertimbangkan elemen visual untuk memikat masyarakat dalam hal ini sebuah kebutuhan. Segmentasi yang ditujukan oleh produsen jamu dapat memikat dan membuat jamu tradisional Banyuwangi mempunyai jati diri identitas dalam desain Kemasan Jamu.Kata Kunci: Banyuwangi, desain kemasan, elemen visual, jamu tradisional, semiotika AbstractTraditional herbal medicine is Indonesia's cultural heritage among diversity, the result of a culture that has a diversity of traditional herbs. One of them is banyuwangi area which is a producer of traditional herbal medicine found in the East Java region. This research uses qualitative descriptive with Roland Barthes’s semiotics approach that analyze visual elements in the packaging design of Banyuwangi herbal medicine. The result of this study is Connotation, Denotation and Myth in visuals are very visible culture contained in the design of herbal medicine packaging in Banyuwangi so that the design principles are helped in harmony and have unity. This makes the design of herbal medicine packaging attached to the banyuwangi community so that manufacturers consider visual elements to lure the community in this case a need. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang identitas dan representasi bahasa visual Black Metal Istiqomah dalam melihat negosiasi yang terjadi di dalamnya. Lebih lanjut, negosiasi yang dimaksud antara identitas keagamaan dan hibriditas dalam performativitas visualitas dari Black Metal Istiqomah. Pengamatan dan penelusuran dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi zine Black Metal Istiqomah di akun Instagram @blackmetalistiqomah melalui tiga karya komik strip berjudul “Komik Gelap”, “HP Menurutku, Menurutmu”, dan “Absolution”. Analisis negosiasi black metal dan Islam yang mengkonstruksi identitas akan dibedah melalui tanda verbal dan visual pada elemen visual dengan pendekatan semiotik oleh Roland Barthes, dan untuk melihat fenomena sosial ini digunakan teori performatif dari konsep hibriditas Richard Schechner terkait dengan Zine Black Metal Istiqomah. Black Metal Istiqomah sejak awal merupakan wujud identitas yang melekat pada karyanya. Ekspansinya menjadi brand fashion dan merchandise menjadi penanda identitas yang awalnya terkonstruksi dalam zine Black Metal Istiqomah, yang mulai diterima sebagai bentuk representasi diri bagi para penggemar yang memiliki cita-cita yang sama dengan Black Metal Istiqomah. Kata Kunci: Black Metal Istiqomah, hibriditas, negosiasi identitas keagamaan, performativitas visual Abstract This study discusses the identity and visual language representation of Black Metal Istiqomah in seeing the negotiations that occur in it. Furthermore, the intended negotiation between religious identity and hybridity in the visual performativity of Black Metal Istiqomah. Observations and searches were carried out by identifying the Black Metal Istiqomah zine on the @blackmetalistiqomah Instagram account through three comic strip work entitled "Komik Gelap", "HP According to You, and "Absolution". Analysis began with the negotiation of black metal and Islam that constructs identity. It will be dissected through verbal and visual signs on visual elements with a semiotic approach by Roland Barthes, and to see this social phenomenon using performative theory from Richard Schechner's concept of hybridity related to the Black Metal Istiqomah zine. Black Metal Istiqomah, from the beginning, is a form of identity attached to his work. Its expansion into a fashion brand and merchandise has become an identity marker initially constructed in the Black Metal Istiqomah zine, which began to be accepted as a form of self-representation for fans with the same ideals as Black Metal Istiqomah. Keywords: Black Metal Istiqomah, hybridity, religious identity negotiation, visual performativity

Abstract

In order to encourage the achievement of UHC in Indonesia, the government organized National Health Insurance (JKN) program. One of the objectives of the JKN program is the improvement of access and equity utilization of health services. This study aims to analyze Equity of Inpatient Utilization in Health Service in second and third year of JKN program implementation in 2015 and 2016. This study uses secondary data of SUSENAS in 2015 and 2016 with analysis using concentration curve and concentration index. The results showed that the Utilization of inpatient services in hospitals in the JKN group of participants increased in 2015 to 2016. The richer population utilizes more Health Service than the poor, as evidenced by concentration curves below the diagonal line (equity line) and the value of the positive concentration index of 0.0336 in 2015 and 0.0382 in 2016. There was an increase in inequity utilization in inpatient services in 2015 to 2016 which was seen from the difference of concentration index value of 0.0045. Pro-rich inequity caused by inequalities in age, income, education, regional residence and JKN ownership. While sex and job variables reduce inequality in inpatient service utilization in hospital by 2015 and 2016.

Abstract

Indonesia has ranked third among countries with the highest number of smokers in Asia because the price of cigarettes in those countries is still affordable. The strategy to make the price of cigarettes is not affordable is increasing cigarette excise tax. This instrument is considered the most effective way to control cigarette consumption. The purpose of this study was to find out how the public perceive the increase of the cigarette excise tax to cover the National Health Insurance (NHI) deficit and to identify the factors which affect such perception. This study used mobile phone survey and the sample were 1000 respondents. The list of potential respondent’s mobile phone numbers was selected using the systematic random sampling method with an interval of 100,000 to 200,000. The result showed that 87.9% respondents agree to increase cigarette price so that the children do not start to smoke. The majority of respondents (86.2%) also agree to increase the price of cigarettes to finance the JKN deficit. Perceptions of respondents who agreed to increase the price of cigarettes to prevent smoking initiation in children also tended to accede the increase in cigarette prices for financing the JKN deficit.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in infants characterized by shorter stature compared to their age. Stunting in toddlers has risk at the level of intelligence, vulnerability to disease, lowering productivity which in the long run can hamper economic growth. When adults, children who suffer from stunting are prone to non-communicable diseases. This causes government spending in terms of financing national health insurance to continue to increase. This study aims to analyze the determinants of household socioeconomic factors of stunting toddlers. It used the secondary data of the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) in 2014 with cross-sectional study design and the application of an econometric logit model. The number of observations as a sample in this study amounted to 3,794 toddlers on a national scale. The results showed the incidence of stunting toddlers had a significant relationship with the employment status of mothers, shelter, sanitation and economic status. Mothers who spend more time and pay attention to child nutrition, toddlers who can reach health care facilities, access to good sanitation, family economic status, proper government intervention, and the role of cross-sector and community order have an impact on the handling of stunting problems in Indonesia

Abstract

The number of National Health Insurance (JKN) participants receiving Contribution Assistance (PBI) in Tangerang City from regional funding continues to increase by around 8.85% per year. On the other hand, the number of JKN participants who are non-wage earners (PBPU) and non-workers (BP) who pay contributions independently has decreased by around 0.7% per year from 2017-2022. One of the implications of this phenomenon is that the regional budget to finance JKN contributions for PBI participants is much larger than the budget for other programs. In 2020, JKN contribution payments for Tangerang City APBD PBI participants amounted to 57.81%, in 2021 it amounted to 75.32%, and in 2022 it amounted to 77.09% of the total Tangerang City Health Service budget excluding personnel expenditure and government governance. The research aims to analyze the ability to pay JKN contributions for the people of Tangerang City in 2023 and the influencing variables. The research used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 400 JKN PBI segment participants who had been selected by accident. Data was collected at two hospitals in the Tangerang City area in June 2023 using a questionnaire instrument. The average ability to pay JKN contributions is IDR 54,904/person/month. As many as 61.25% of respondents have the ability to pay JKN contributions of IDR 35,000/person/month. There is potential for savings in Tangerang City APBD expenditure of IDR 92.7 billion/year if 61.25% of JKN PBI APBD participants who have the ability to pay IDR 35,000/person/month are excluded from PBI membership. The results of the multivariate analysis found that the dominant variable influencing the ability to pay JKN contributions was non-food expenditure.

Abstract

Hospitals receive payments through claim submissions with complete documents to the Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) Health. However, not all inpatient claims have been submitted to BPJS Health, and there are still 16.97% pending inpatient claims. In claims that are not approved, claims can be resubmitted, but time constraints for the claim process have resulted in 2.64% of inpatient cases in 2022 not resubmitted. Qualitative research through in-depth interviews with 15 respondents aims to analyze the management of inpatient claims for BPJS Kesehatan Kebayoran Baru Hospital from November 2022 to April 2023. The study results showed that not all printed Participant Eligibility Letters (SEP) have been submitted for inpatient claims. There were 10.97% pending claims, with the cause being incomplete doctor's medical resumes for 59 inpatient files (32.2%) and inconsistencies in submitting claim files for 81 inpatient files (44.3%). This is due to the suboptimal feedback and monitoring, so it is necessary to establish a claim management monitoring flow. Hospitals must also establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for integrated claim management. This study is expected to be a strategic guide to improve BPJS Kesehatan claim management with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) efforts for collaboration between agencies/units/teams and better cooperation between hospitals and BPJS Kesehatan. All solutions implemented are expected to improve the quality of hospital claims.
