Abstract

Learning innovation is an important prerequisite for improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes in the 21st century education era. However, various studies show that innovations adopted mechanically from training or policies often fail because they are not connected to the real experiences of teachers. This study aims to develop a conceptual model of experience-based pedagogical innovation through a qualitative approach using grounded theory design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of learning documents of teachers considered innovative, selected through purposive and theoretical sampling until data saturation was achieved. Analysis was conducted through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding using the constant comparative method. The findings show that pedagogical innovation emerges as a cyclical process that moves through the stages of awareness of change, design experimentation, reflection on action, and reconstruction of learning strategies. At the core of this process is the view that teachers produce pedagogical knowledge from their practical experiences, so that innovation is understood as a living model that continues to evolve according to the classroom context and the dynamics of the students. The resulting conceptual model positions teachers as practical theorists and learning as a reflective laboratory for the construction of educational knowledge. The implications of this study emphasize the need for teacher development programs based on practical reflection, policies that allow room for teacher creativity, and further research to test this model in different educational contexts. This research contributes theoretically to understanding learning innovation as an emergent and experience-based phenomenon, and practically to designing more relevant and sustainable learning quality improvement.

Abstract

Beton adalah material konstruksi yang diperoleh dari pencampuran pasir, kerikil/agregat kasar, semen serta air. Di sisi lain penggunaan kerikil yang merupakan sumber daya alam yang tidak dapat diperbaharui secara terus menerus sebagai bahan beton dikhawatirkan merusak lingkungan. Dalam mengatasi isu itu maka riset tentang konstruksi hijau (Green Construction) mulai digalakkan dengan salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan limbah batu kerajinan di Padalarang. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui komposisi optimum agregat kasar dari limbah pada beton sehingga menghasilkan kuat tekan yang maksimum. Tahapan Pertama dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data selanjutnya adalah analisis Laboratorium meliputi uji sifat teknis material penyusun beton yang meliputi pasir , kerikil alami dan kerikil dari limbah batu kerajinan. Selanjutnya proses mix desain dimana penelitian dilakukan dengan 30 benda uji dengan komposisi antara split dan limbah adalah 100% : 0%, 80% : 20%, 60% : 40%, 40% : 60%, 20% : 80% dan 0 % :100 %, masing masing komposisi berjumlah lima benda uji. Pengujian meliputi berat jenis, kuat tekan dan modulus elastisitas beton. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kuat tekan maksimum diperoleh pada proporsi 40% split dan 60% limbah yaitu 14.35 MPa. Modulus elastisitas maksimum diperoleh pada proporsi 20% split dan 80% limbah yaitu 18367.8 MPa.

Abstract

Shear strengthening of reinforced concrete (RC) beams has become increasingly important for improving the safety and durability of existing structures. This study focuses on the behavior of RC beams strengthened using cold-formed steel plates installed diagonally at a 45-degree angle. Two beam specimens with dimensions of 250 × 400 × 1500 mm were tested under continuous loading: a control beam (B0) without strengthening and a strengthened beam (B1) with a single cold-formed steel plate bonded to the beam web. Additionally, a Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) was installed at midspan, ¼ span, and ¾ span to monitor deflections, with all instrumentation connected to a data acquisition system. Test results showed that the initial yielding load for the control specimen B0 was 283.07 kN, while the strengthened specimen B1 yielded at 288.91 kN, indicating a 2.44% increase in initial yield load due to the presence of the cold-formed steel plate. Loading was continued up to 350 kN, at which point the midspan deflection of B0 was measured at 21.40 mm, whereas B1 exhibited a lower deflection of 17.81 mm, demonstrating improved stiffness and reduced deformation. The shear capacity of the beams, which includes contributions from both the concrete and shear reinforcement, was calculated as 145.59 kN. This shear capacity corresponded to a total applied load of 291.18 kN, marking the limit at which shear failure is expected to occur. The cracks on the both left and right side of the beams seem symmetrically and there is no separation between the concrete and the cold-formed steel plates. The study confirms that retrofitting RC beams with diagonally installed cold-formed steel plates can effectively enhance their shear capacity and stiffness. This strengthening technique offers a practical and efficient method for extending the service life of existing concrete structures.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSDN Cipageran Mandiri 1 Kota Cimahi memiliki gedung bertingkat yang menimbulkan kekhawatiran terkait keselamatan dan kenyamanan pengguna akibat kerusakan struktural maupun arsitektural. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kelayakan struktur gedung C melalui inspeksi visual, pengujian non-destruktif (NDT), serta analisis struktur menggunakan perangkat lunak berbasis metode elemen hingga. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif melalui tahapan studi literatur, pengumpulan data sekunder, pemeriksaan visual, pengujian NDT (Rebound Hammer Test, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity, Brinell Hardness Test, Liquid Penetrant Test, dan uji vertikalitas), hingga pemodelan struktur 3D. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan variasi mutu beton yang signifikan (29,1–407,4 kg/cm²) serta mutu baja yang tidak seragam (693,3–1432,6 MPa). Selain itu, ditemukan cacat pada sambungan las, korosi pada elemen baja, serta penyimpangan vertikal pada beberapa kolom. Analisis permodelan memperlihatkan stress ratio >1 pada sejumlah elemen balok dan kolom serta deformasi yang melebihi batas standar L/240, sehingga struktur dinyatakan tidak memenuhi persyaratan SNI 1729:2020. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa gedung C SDN Cipageran Mandiri 1 memerlukan perbaikan struktural secara menyeluruh untuk menjamin keselamatan, kenyamanan, serta keberlangsungan fungsi bangunan sebagai sarana pendidikan.Kata kunci: evaluasi struktur, gedung sekolah, kelayakan bangunan, keselamatan konstruksi, NDT ABSTRACTSDN Cipageran Mandiri 1 in Cimahi City has a multi-story building that raises concerns regarding the safety and comfort of its users due to both structural and architectural damage. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of Building C through visual inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), and structural analysis using finite element software. The research was conducted quantitatively through several stages, including literature review, secondary data collection, visual inspection, NDT (Rebound Hammer Test, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity, Brinell Hardness Test, Liquid Penetrant Test, and verticality test), and 3D structural modeling. The results indicate significant variations in concrete strength (29.1–407.4 kg/cm²) and non-uniform steel quality (693.3–1432.6 MPa). In addition, defects were found in the welding joints, corrosion in steel elements, and deviations in verticality in several columns. Structural modeling analysis revealed stress ratios greater than 1 in several beam and column elements, as well as deformations exceeding the L/240 limit, indicating that the structure does not comply with the requirements of SNI 1729:2020. This study concludes that Building C of SDN Cipageran Mandiri 1 requires comprehensive structural rehabilitation to ensure safety, comfort, and the continued functionality of the facility as an educational facility.Keywords: structural evaluation, school building, building feasibility, construction safety, NDT
