Abstract

Some implications and research about tokamak as nuclear fusion reactor are examined. From the other researching about tokamak shown that this nuclear fusion reactor has been developed significantly in last 3 decade. In this research to determine new concept to recreate the tokamak with more safety tendencies. The step from this idea to make tokamak is calculate the nuclear fusion cylce energy (based on electron-volt), magnetic field needed (e.m.u), the equilibrium value of nuclear reaction (in electron-volt), temperature and heat conversion of the result from fusion reaction. Also, as the measurement of the tokamak, this study using sizeable value to determine radius of orbit, the coil, etc. From the conclusion this tokamak concept has estimate to produced high energy and high temperature. The tokamak projected to have >200MeV equilibrium energy value and converted to heat energy around 500°C - 600°C. Which use as the fuel flowed to the boiler as a device to produce steam. Abstract

This paper describes the condition of Indosat's 4G microwave link network in the Benai-Teluk Kuantan area using pathloss software. Microwave link functions to transmit information from one place to another without any interference. PT. Xerindo Teknologi is a company that provides services through the internet network of all providers including Indosat. The design carried out by PT. Xerindo Teknologi simulated with Pathloss software to experience some obstacles such as trees and buildings. These caused a nonoptimal network, with a network speed of around 2-3 Mbps from the speedtest results. To enhance the microwave link network conditions in the Benai-Teluk Kuantan area, the solution will be to change the antenna height that has been done previously. Changing the antenna height results in optimal network speed, with a network speed of around 7-8 Mbps. .Keywords: Microwave link, 4G Technology, Network planning and network optimization.

Abstract

With rapid growth of technology, cellphone is very important for human being. The need of cellphone is to connect our friends and family and for daily work. But everyone will have an awkward time is battery died in the hot sun. Then we cannot to connect our friends and family. If we have a sunshade can receive the solar energy to charge our phone. The solar-powered jacket has an embedded flexible solar panel, which can absorb the solar energy and convert heat energy to electrical energy. We will have a converter circuit that will convert the supply to a suitable voltage for cellphone charging. Abstract

Technology Long Term Evolution (LTE) has a high-speed data transfer, large range of access and mobility. Long Term Evolution (LTE) antenna requires small dimensions and integrates easily. Therefore, microstrip antenna is a good candidate for this application. This paper discusses the design of a single antenna element and a fourth element circular and rectangular patch, microstrip patch antenna which can be used for LTE applications in the 2.3 GHz (2.3 to 2.36 GHz). Microstrip antenna designed using microstrip line technique. Design and simulation of microstrip antenna requires Ansoft HFFS paragraph 13. The simulation results show that the antenna can operate at frequencies from 2.3 to 2.36 GHz. Impedance bandwidth of 163 MHz value (2.252 to 2.415 GHz) or 6.9% at VSWR ≤ 1.9 and gain is 4,704 dBi.Keywords : Long Term Evolution (LTE ), Planar Array, Microstrip Line, VSWR and Gain

Abstract

WiGig (Wireless Gigabit) is the next generation technology of WiFi (Wireless Fidelity). WiGig speeds reach 7Gbps / s and have great access. In this study, microstrip antenna Square Patch Array MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) for WiGig application operating at 60 GHz is discussed. Microstrip antenna is designed by using MIMO Technique to increase the gain. Antenna is simulated by using CST(Computer Simulation Technology) Microwave Studio software. From the simulation results, the antenna can operate at a frequency of 60 GHz. The bandwidth obtained is 4.38 GHz (7.3%) on VSWR 1.06 and the gain is 14.3 dB.Keyword: WiGig, MIMO, Gain, Bandwidth, VSWR

Abstract

Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a brain signal processing technique used to detect abnormal brain waves. EEG signal recording uses electrodes placed on the scalp. AD620 is used to obtain high input impedance. The EEG signal is amplified by transmitting the signal into the notch filter, high pass filter and low pass filter to improve the quality of the signal such as eliminating and reducing noise. EEG recording focuses on analyzing alpha waves to determine whether the subject is suffering from depression. For cases of depression, the lobes of the brain placed electrodes are the Occipital and Parietal lobes of the brain. The selection of participants in this study was based on the results of tests using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) method. The results obtained after recording EEG are there is theta wave shaped abnormally large and abnormal alpha wave who shaped abnormally large. Abstract

One of networks which can support voice traffic is LTE. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect increased number of user and other traffic to Voice over IP traffic in LTE Network. Simulation study is done by NS 2.33 (Network Simulator 2.33) which consist of two scenario. First scenario use 1 server, 1 gateway, 1 eNodeB with increased number of user until 65, on the other hand second scenario use 1 server, 1 gateway, 1 eNodeB with increased number of user until 65 and add constant bit rate traffic.The research shows that increased number of user will effect the value of average througput, average delay, and average jitter. Meanwhile adding constant bit rate traffic has more significant effect to the value of average delay and average jitter.The highest throughput in scenarios 1 and 2 is achieved with a value of 46714.6 kbps and 57113.3 kbps respectively. Futhermore the lowest delay in scenarios 1 and 2 achieved with a value of 0.053 ms and 0.102 ms. Finaly the lowest jitter in scenarios 1 and 2 achieved with a value of 0.0338503 ms and 0.0169908 ms.Keywords : LTE, NS 2, VoIP

Abstract

The brain controls our thoughts, memory and speech, movement of the arms and legs, and the function of many organs within our body. If someone has a healthy brain, then will encourage physical health. In the other way around, if the person brain is in an unhealthy condition, then that is the cause of all problems in the body. Some doctors use a device called an electroencephalogram (EEG) to diagnose the brain in humans. Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a medical test used to measure the electrical activity of the brain. EEG is done by placing electrodes on the scalp. EEG is often also referred to as a brain wave test. The EEG procedure is not painful and can be done without having to shave hair. EEG will help diagnose a number of health conditions such as Alzheimer's disease. The method used is to measure human brain waves using the designed EEG device. EEG signal output using MATLAB software. This study aims to design an EEG system to diagnose Alzheimer's disease and display the results of EEG signal readings in MATLAB. Abstract

Air quality monitoring is very necessary to anticipate the dangerous air pollution such as forest fires pollution like PM10. Excellent air monitoring done in real time, so that the monitoring data obtained directly. In the research make aplication air monitoring real time using Microsoft Visual Basic 2010, air monitoring device with using wireless sensor network waspmote plug and sense for monitoring of PM10 and waspmote OEM for monitoring CO and O3, data communication using Zigbee. Application will process wireless sensor network waspmote data to ISPU data for reference condition the air content PM10, CO dan O3, and application will display in ISPU graphical. Design database in Microsoft Access to connect monitoring aplication so monitoring data can be stored.
