Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Pada Materi Persamaan Garis Singgung Lingkaran Di Kelas Xi Sma Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan menggunakan rancangan studi kasus tunggal (one-shot case study), dimana satu kelompok kelas eksperimen menjadi subjek penelitian Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan siginifikan antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi persamaan garis singgung lingkaran di kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Pengaruh positif ditunjukkan melalui persamaan regresi Y = 30,536 + 0,447X i dimana nilai b = 0,447. Pengaruh tersebut melalui uji-z dimana z hitung > z tabel (1,598 > 0,4997) makaH_o ditolak da H_a diterima yang artinya terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi persamaan gafris singgung lingkaran. Sumbangan variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 62%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Berbantuan Quizizz terhadap Pemahaman Prosedural pada materi Operasi Bentuk Aljabar Di SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis pre-eksperimental karena hanya menggunakan satu kelompok yang diberi perlakuan tanpa adanya kelompok kontrol pembanding. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari model Discovery Learning berbantuan Quizizz terhadap pemahaman prosedural siswa di kelas VII SMP  Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar T.A 2025/2026. Pengaruh yang positif ditunjukkan melalui persamaan regresi ???? = 26,160 + 0,252X, artinya setiap penambahan 1 skor model Discovery Learning berbantuan Quizizz, maka pemahaman prosedural siswa  akan meningkat sebesar 0,252. Pengaruh yang signifikan ditunjukkan melalui uji-t, yaitu, diperoleh nilai = 20.800 > 2,048 dan dengan menggunakan koefisien determinasi dapat dilihat besar pengaruh berdasarkan nilai signifikansi (sig.) dan nilai nilai R Square diperoleh sebesar 0,52 atau 52%, sehingga dapat dilihat besar pengaruh X (model Discovery Learning berbantuan Quizizz) terhadap variabel Y (pemahaman prosedural) adalah sebesar 52%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantuan GeoGebra terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi persamaan garis lurus. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental tipe one-shot case study dengan subjek 30 siswa kelas VIII-6 SMP Negeri 1 Siantar. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda dan angket persepsi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 87,93 lebih tinggi dari KKM (80). Uji t menunjukkan sig. = 0,000 < 0,05, sedangkan uji regresi menghasilkan R² = 0,795 dengan sig. = 0,000. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan Discovery Learning berbantuan Geogebra berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the TPS (Think Pair Share) learning model assisted by the Geogebra application on the mathematical concept understanding ability of class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Siantar. The sampling technique used in this study is Probability Sampling. In this study, the type of experimental research used is Probability Sampling with a type of research design, namely One Shot Case Sturdy. In this type of design, the researcher will use a class unit where the researcher will provide a solution (treatment) to students for several periods. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the TPS (Think Pair Share) learning model assisted by the Geogebra application on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Siantar. This influence can be seen from the regression equation Y = 63,570 + 1.271 with a regression coefficient of 1.271. Through the t-test, it can be seen that t_count>t_table = (11,361>6,742) indicates that significance and by using the coefficient of determination can be seen the magnitude of the influence is 82.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine ethnomathematics in traditional games, particularly among the Batak Toba ethnic group, where mathematical concepts such as geometry, number operations, relationships between lines, the concept of congruence, probability, number patterns, and speed are present. The traditional games analyzed in this study include Marsitekka, Margala, and Pocca Piring. This research employs qualitative descriptive approach,where the subjects of this research are the three types of traditional games mentioned earlier. The data collection techniques used in this study include observation, field notes, and documentation. Integrating traditional games into mathematics learning provides benefits by visualizing mathematical concepts in a tangible form, making it easier for students to understand mathematical learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (Tapps) Method on Mathematical Communication Skills of Students of HKBP Private Vocational School Pematangsiantar. The type of research used by the researcher is experimental research. Experimental research is a research to determine whether there is an effect of something imposed on the subject of investigation. This research will be conducted using a single case study design (one-shot case study), where one group of experimental classes becomes the research subject. In the experimental group, a treatment is applied in the form of the application of the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) Learning Method which is considered successful. After the treatment, a post-test evaluation is carried out and from the results of the measurement, conclusions will be drawn. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) Method on students' mathematical communication skills in Statistics material at HKBP Private Vocational School Pematangsiantar. This influence can be seen from the regression equation = -56.532 + 1.088 with a regression coefficient of 1.088 and a determination coefficient of 91% which shows that there is a very strong relationship between the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) Method and students' mathematical communication skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Discovery Learning learning model on the mathematical creative thinking ability of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. The study used a quantitative approach with a One-Shot Case Study design. The research sample consisted of 30 students selected through cluster random sampling techniques. Data were collected through a mathematical creative thinking ability test and a student perception questionnaire, which have been declared valid and reliable. Data analysis included normality and linearity tests, as well as hypothesis testing using simple linear regression and t-test. The results showed that the Discovery Learning model had a positive and significant effect on students' mathematical creative thinking ability, with a regression equation of Y = 9.100 + 0.313X. The significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05 and the calculated t value (11.987) is more than the t table (2.048). The coefficient of determination of 83.7% indicates a very strong contribution. Thus, the Discovery Learning model is effective in improving students' mathematical creative thinking ability.

Abstract

This research seeks to compare the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with that of the Discovery Learning (DL) model in enhancing students’ learning outcames. The study was conducted with Grade XI learners at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar and utilized a quantitative method through a quasi-experimental design. Data were obtained through a post-test consisting of five essay items assessing cognitive learning outcomes. The instrument’s validity and reliability were assessed through product–moment correlation and Cronbach’s Alpha procedures. The results of the study showed that students taught using the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) model achieved higher average scores (mean = 74.26, SD = 14.29) than those taught using the discovery learning model (mean = 65.52, SD = 15.91). The t-test findings revealed a meaningful difference between the two groups (tₕ = 2.51 > tₜ = 1.995, α = 0.05). This result indicated that Problem Based Learning outperforms Discovery Learning in improving students’learning outcames

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa secara umum sebagai calon pendidik dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal. Target kegiatan mencakup empat aspek utama. Pertama, mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep esensial dalam pembelajaran yang dapat disajikan secara lebih efektif melalui media berbasis ICT, dengan indikator minimal 50% materi dapat diimplementasikan. Kedua, terbentuknya kelompok belajar mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan dalam pemanfaatan ICT, dengan target sekurang-kurangnya 75% peserta memiliki pemahaman yang baik dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Ketiga, dihasilkannya produk media pembelajaran yang inovatif, eksploratif, dan kontekstual berbasis kearifan lokal, dengan capaian minimal 80% mahasiswa mampu menguasai dan mengaplikasikan media tersebut. Keempat, terbukanya peluang pengembangan jiwa kewirausahaan melalui produksi media pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang bernilai ekonomis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui metode pendampingan, pelatihan, dan praktik langsung dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang terintegrasi dengan budaya lokal. Pendekatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merancang pembelajaran yang inovatif, adaptif, dan kontekstual, serta membentuk calon pendidik yang peka terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan matematika masih rendah dan dipengaruhi oleh variasi gaya belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berdasarkan gaya belajar Kolb, yaitu converger, diverger, accommodator, dan assimilator dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis Model Eliciting Activities (MEA). Penelitian kualitatif ini melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa semester 3 sebagai populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian sebanyak satu kelas berjumlah 32 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket gaya belajar, tes pemecahan masalah, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari populasi tersebut ditetapkan delapan siswa sebagai subjek wawancara yang mewakili tiap gaya belajar. Wawancara kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dilakukan dengan 8 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 siswa pada tiap gaya belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar yang paling dominan adalah converger. Semua tipe mahasiswa mampu memahami masalah, merancang strategi, dan melaksanakan penyelesaian sesuai indikator Polya. Perbedaan tampak pada tahap pemeriksaan kembali: mahasiswa converger dan assimilator hanya meninjau jawaban tanpa mempertimbangkan alternatif lain; mahasiswa diverger memeriksa kelogisan solusi dan membaca ulang pertanyaan; sedangkan mahasiswa accommodator tidak menilai alternatif solusi maupun kelogisannya. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar terutama memengaruhi kualitas refleksi mahasiswa dalam tahap evaluasi pemecahan masalah.
