Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Dampak Pengembangan SDM dan Kepribadian Terhadap Kompetensi dan Kinerja (Studi Pada Pegawai Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota Pasuruan). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota Pasuruan yang berjumlah 122 orang. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah sampel adalah menggunakan rumus Slovin, yaitu sebesar 93 responden. Alat analisis untuk model penelitian adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) yang mampu melakukan analisa secara menyeluruh dalam sebuah analisa tunggal. SEM ada dua pendekatan, yaitu SEM  berbasis covarians dan SEM berbasis varians atau yang disebut juga Partial Least Square (PLS) atau SEM PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengembangan SDM berperan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pegawai. Kepribadian berperan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pegawai. Pengembangan SDM berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Kepribadian tidak mampu meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Kompetensi berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Pengembangan SDM berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai melalui kompetensi. Kepribadian berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai melalui kompetensi.Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of Human Resources and  ersonality Development on Competence and Performance (Studies on Employees of the Environmental, Cleanliness and Gardening Service of Pasuruan City). The population in this study were all 122 employees of the Pasuruan City Environment, Cleanliness and Gardening Service. The method used to determine the number of samples is using the Slovin formula, which is equal to 93 respondents. The analytical tool for the research model is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) which is able to perform a comprehensive analysis in a single analysis. SEM has two approaches, namely covariance-based SEM and variance-based SEM or what is also called Partial Least Square (PLS) or PLS SEM. The results showed that HR development plays a role in increasing employee competence. Personality plays a role in increasing employee competence. HR development plays a role in improving employee performance. Personality is not able to improve employee performance. Competence plays a role in improving employee performance. HR development plays a role in improving employee performance through competence. Personality plays a role in improving employee performance through competence.

Abstract

The high dropout rate is one of the problems that is very urgent to find a solution. Efforts are made to provide training to teachers to improve teachers' pedagogical competence in order to manage fun learning and motivate students so as to minimize the dropout rate. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to explain how the effect of training can improve teachers' pedagogical competence and produce fun learning. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative which in this paper shows the comparison of pre-test and post-test results. Data was obtained using a questionnaire instrument. The results of data processing show that there is a difference in the results of the pretest and posttest after attending training on teacher pedagogical competence in managing technology-based fun learning. This means that there is an effect of training on improving teacher competence and teacher ability in creating fun learning. For this reason, teachers need to be given training in order to improve the necessary competencies.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is an innovation in Indonesia’s education System that provides flexibility for schools and educators to develop learning according to the needs and potentials of students. The implementation of this curriculum faces various challenges, including the readiness of educators and community support. This article discusses the importance of teacher readiness in applying the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as the role of the community in supporting the learning process. Through collaboration between schools, parents, and society, it is hoped that a more inclusive and adaptive learning environment can be created. This research also highlights strategies that can be implemented to enhance the effectiveness of the Merdeka Curriculum implementation.

Abstract

Manajemen kurikulum merupakan komponen mendasar dalam sistem pendidikan yang berperan besar dalam mengarahkan kualitas pembelajaran. Dalam era globalisasi dan transformasi digital yang berkembang pesat, pengelolaan kurikulum yang adaptif dan responsif menjadi kebutuhan mendesak guna menjawab tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas manajemen kurikulum dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai teori, konsep, dan temuan empiris dari artikel dan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dalam pengelolaan kurikulum. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas manajemen kurikulum sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan aktif pemangku kepentingan pendidikan, seperti kepala sekolah, guru, dan masyarakat, serta oleh kesiapan lembaga pendidikan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran. Selain itu, keberhasilan pengelolaan kurikulum juga ditentukan oleh kemampuan dalam menyesuaikan isi kurikulum dengan kebutuhan lokal dan tuntutan global. Diperlukan pembaruan kurikulum secara berkala, penguatan kapasitas guru, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor agar proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung secara efektif, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, manajemen kurikulum yang efektif bukan hanya menjadi alat administratif, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan relevan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze strategies for developing excellent generations through curriculum management in the digital era. The rapid advancement of technology and the dynamics of global competition necessitate educational institutions to adapt their curriculum management strategies to meet the demands of the digital era while fostering the development of an excellent generation. This qualitative descriptive study employed literature review and field observation methods at several educational institutions. The results indicate that effective curriculum management in the digital era requires integration of digital literacy, critical thinking, adaptive learning approaches, and strengthening character education. Implementation of curriculum management strategies focused on excellence includes: (1) curriculum design that balances academic, technological, and character competencies; (2) integration of digital platforms in learning processes; (3) enhancement of educators' digital competencies; and (4) participatory assessment methods. This research concludes that developing an excellent generation in the digital era requires comprehensive curriculum management strategies that incorporate technological advances while emphasizing character development and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Curriculum management plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher performance, ultimately contributing to the overall quality of education. Based on various sources, effective curriculum management encompasses planning, implementation, organization, and evaluation of the curriculum. Proper implementation of these aspects has been proven to positively influence teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. Research indicates that curriculum management can improve teachers' abilities in managing learning, understanding student characteristics, and applying diverse teaching strategies. Additionally, teacher commitment and pedagogical competence are significant supporting factors. The combination of optimal curriculum management and professional teacher performance can enhance student learning outcomes and overall educational quality.

Abstract

The curriculum serves as a guideline for organizing the learning process to achieve national education objectives. This study aims to explore the understanding of the Independent Curriculum concept, its implementation process, the challenges faced, and the solutions applied during its execution. Data collection was carried out using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, involving the analysis of articles and books related to issues in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The selected articles met specific criteria for inclusion in the analysis. The review findings reveal several challenges in implementing the Independent Curriculum, notably that teachers, who play a crucial role in its success, often struggle to grasp appropriate and relevant learning strategies aligned with the curriculum. Additionally, inadequate facilities and infrastructure contribute to less than optimal outcomes. To address these issues, collaboration is essential among various parties, starting with school principals who guide teachers in understanding and applying the curriculum, as well as supporting the enhancement of teacher competencies. Furthermore, the involvement of external stakeholders also serves as a vital driving force to ensure the successful achievement of the Independent Curriculum’s goals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of school principals' leadership in improving the quality of education through the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility for educational institutions to design learning that is more contextual, inclusive, and student-centered. As educational leaders, school principals play a crucial role in driving instructional innovation, strengthening human resources, and building strategic communication both with teachers and external stakeholders. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by analyzing peer-reviewed scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2024. Data were collected from reputable national and international journals accessed through databases such as Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and Garuda (Kemendikbud). The findings indicate that effective school leadership through strategies such as academic supervision, ongoing professional development, and collaboration in Profil Pelajar Pancasila (Pancasila Student Profile) projects can significantly enhance the quality of the learning process. With strategic and collaborative approaches, school principals serve as key agents in transforming education in the era of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Peralihan dari Kurikulum 2013 ke Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia menandai upaya adaptasi sistem pendidikan terhadap tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir dengan penekanan pada pengembangan kompetensi esensial, karakter peserta didik, serta pembelajaran berbasis proyek, berbeda dengan Kurikulum 2013 yang lebih berfokus pada hasil dan pendekatan saintifik. Meskipun bertujuan untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dan relevansi, transisi ini tidak terlepas dari beragam permasalahan, terutama terkait kesiapan guru dan ketersediaan sumber daya yang belum merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang timbul akibat perubahan kurikulum ini, khususnya terhadap siswa. Menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), data dikumpulkan dari berbagai bahan kajian seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah. Analisis mencakup perbandingan karakteristik dan tujuan kedua kurikulum, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa menghadapi kesulitan penyesuaian yang signifikan dalam aspek sosial, emosional, dan akademik. Penekanan pada asesmen yang lebih beragam dan tugas proyek yang kompleks dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dapat memicu stres akademik, kecemasan, dan frustrasi, yang berpotensi menurunkan motivasi belajar. Selain itu, kesenjangan sumber daya antar sekolah juga memperburuk dampak transisi ini. Penelitian ini menekankan urgensi pengawasan, dukungan berkelanjutan bagi guru, serta pemerataan ketersediaan sumber daya sebagai langkah krusial untuk meminimalisir permasalahan dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia.

Abstract

In the context of vocational education, the school work climate significantly influences teacher performance, motivation, and commitment. While teachers are expected to exhibit high professionalism, many vocational high schools still lack a conducive environment that fosters collaboration, support, and participation. This study explores how teachers perceive the work climate in state vocational high schools. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers perceive institutional support as a key element of a positive work climate, reflected through leadership responsiveness, mentoring systems, and inclusive academic planning. Ideal support is shown to be multidimensional, structural, relational, and participatory, promoting teacher engagement, psychological comfort, and a sense of belonging. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the psychosocial dimensions that shape the school environment and provide empirical insights for policy interventions aimed at improving the quality of teacher professionalism and educational outcomes in vocational schools.
