Abstract

This article is aimed to describe the implementation of manuscript-based learning model. Manuscript-based learning model is a learning model which instill manuscript values among the students, so that they will respect, love, and cherish the manuscript values as well as able to apply them in real life. The study was conducted in a qualitative approach employing library research method. Data collection was performed by reading various relevant literature associated with the implementation of manuscript-based learning model in Islamic higher education. The study figured out that to implement manuscript-based learning model in Islamic higher education can be performed through the following ways: 1) fostering sense of love, appreciation, and belonging toward the manuscripts, 2) building the character and sense of nationalism through the manuscript, 3) developing texts into manuscript moderation, 4) associating the manuscript with social realities, and 5) reviewing the past to prepare for the better future. The result of study is recommended to the leaders and lecturers of Islamic higher education in order to carry on this learning model responsibly, accountably, and cooperatively with other stakeholder.

Abstract

This study tested the approach of moral aqidahs teacher in the learning process at MAN Jeuram, Nagan Raya. The results of the study concluded that the more role of aqidah teacher is as the facilitator to increasing the activeness and creativity the students are in constructing their own knowledge, finding meaning from what is being studied, finding new ideas, thoughts and ideas and concepts when constructing learning in their class . This study aims to determine the learning theory approach used by moral aqidah teachers in the learning process. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Then using data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data analysis process includes: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or conclusion drawing.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to evaluate the implementation of the boarding school curriculum at MTsS Nurul Falah, West Aceh Regency. This article uses the CIPP (Context-Input-Process-Product) model evaluation method developed by Stufflebeam. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews and document studies related to the boarding school curriculum. Data analysis uses the opinion of Miles and Haberman, namely data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and data verification. The research results indicate that the implementation of the boarding school curriculum at MTsS Nurul Falah in West Aceh District has been running well and in accordance with the standard set by the foundation and the government. In the future, to bring forth new innovations in implementing the boarding school curriculum, there is a need for continuous guidance and specialized training for the teachers of dayah/boarding schools to optimize the quality of the learning process and the educational outcomes. The results of this study can provide input for the headmasters of madrasahs and the heads of the Ministry of Religious Affairs offices in making decisions related to improving the quality of education.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat kampus melalui Sosialisasi Ketahanan Keluarga dalam Masyarakat Desa Melalui Program Desa Binaan Tematik menjadi langkah inovatif dalam membangun sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dan komunitas desa. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan ketahanan keluarga dengan merangkul mahasiswa, dosen, dan tenaga kependidikan sebagai agen perubahan. Melibatkan narasumber ahli, forum diskusi, dan lokakarya, program ini menciptakan ruang dialog yang memungkinkan pertukaran gagasan dan pengalaman antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat desa. Penekanan pada partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam identifikasi masalah lokal memastikan bahwa Program Desa Binaan Tematik relevan dengan kebutuhan spesifik setiap desa. Hasilnya mencakup peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap ketahanan keluarga, pengembangan keterampilan praktis, dan penguatan jaringan sosial. Melalui kampanye sosialisasi dan pemanfaatan teknologi, program ini berhasil menciptakan ikatan yang berkelanjutan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat. Kesuksesan ini tercermin dalam partisipasi aktif masyarakat desa dalam setiap tahap program, serta dalam perubahan positif yang terlihat dalam kesejahteraan keluarga. Pengabdian ini bukan hanya tentang menyampaikan informasi, tetapi juga tentang membentuk kolaborasi yang berarti untuk membangun masyarakat desa yang tangguh dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

One of the responsibilities in managing educational units is the use of information technology. This study aims to determine the strategy for using information technology in MTsN 2 West Aceh. This research is field research (field research, with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies. Data processing techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation (data display), and data verification (conclusion drawing). The results showed that: 1) strategies for providing information technology by budgeting funds and procuring information technology software and hardware, 2) strategies for training and controlling school apparatus by guiding, fostering and involving madrasah apparatus to attend training, seminars and webinars to develop competence in the use of information technology, 3) information technology asset management strategies by maintaining and take care so that it is not easily damaged, and inventory information technology assets into the State Property (BMN) report.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan praktik nilai-nilai Syari’at Islam serta moderasi beragama bagi kader Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah dan mahasiswa di Aceh Barat. Aceh Barat merupakan salah satu daerah dengan mayoritas penduduk beragama Islam yang kuat. Namun, penting untuk memastikan bahwa pemahaman dan praktik Islam di wilayah ini tetap seimbang, moderat, dan berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai syari’at Islam yang benar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini mencakup penyelenggaraan seminar dan diskusi kelompok. Selama kegiatan ini, peserta diberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang nilai-nilai Syari’at Islam, moderasi beragama, dan bagaimana menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan akan menjadi landasan bagi kader Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah dan mahasiswa di Aceh Barat untuk mengamalkan nilai-nilai Syari’at Islam secara benar dan moderat, serta menjadi agen perubahan positif dalam masyarakat mereka. Melalui pemahaman yang kuat tentang nilai-nilai Islam yang moderat, diharapkan Aceh Barat akan tetap menjadi daerah yang damai dan harmonis dalam keberagaman.

Abstract

Pesantren Kilat di Desa Blang Kuala, Kecamatan Meukek, Kabupaten Aceh Selatan, merupakan inisiatif pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan bakat dan minat anak-anak desa. Latar belakang pengabdian ini adalah rendahnya akses terhadap pendidikan formal dan kurangnya kesempatan pengembangan bakat di daerah pedesaan, yang memerlukan intervensi berbasis lokal yang efektif. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan potensi anak-anak Desa Blang Kuala melalui program Pesantren Kilat yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan aspirasi mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan kolaborasi aktif antara dosen, mahasiswa, dan masyarakat setempat dalam seluruh tahapan program. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa program Pesantren Kilat berhasil meningkatkan bakat dan minat anak-anak Desa Blang Kuala secara signifikan. Partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat dalam perencanaan dan implementasi program serta adaptasi program yang sesuai dengan konteks lokal menjadi kunci keberhasilan program ini. Dengan demikian, pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan fokus pada peran Pesantren Kilat dapat menjadi model yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan pengembangan bakat di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan mualaf belajar metode iqra’ dan al-qur’an di Meunasah Al-Bayan Ujong Kalak Meulaboh kabupaten Aceh Barat. Kegiatan pendampingan mualaf tersebut dilakukan sebagai wujud kepedulian pemerhati mulaf Aceh Barat dari kampus STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh, dan guru di lingkungan Kementerian Agama Kabupaten  Aceh Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pendekatan pendampingan secara langsung kepada para mualaf yang ada di kabupaten Aceh Barat. Hasil yang dicapai dari pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa para mualaf sudah menambah wawasan, ilmu pengetahuan, dan keterampilan dalam membaca metode iqra’, dan membaca al-qur’an secara lancar, dan benar serta sudah terbangun sikap istikamah terhadap akidah, ibadah, dan akhlak yang mulia di tengah-tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are one of the most important components to support academic and non-academic activities. This study aims to determine the leadership strategy in managing facilities and infrastructure at STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh. The type of research used here is qualitative research, with data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data processing and analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification (Conclusion Drawing). The results showed that the leadership strategy in managing facilities and infrastructure at STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh was carried out through strategies: 1) budget preparation planning work meetings involving leadership elements, and the planning process refers to the RIP, RPJM, and RPJP documents, 2) setting schedules, and local committee for procurement of sarpras and coordinating with the procurement committee of Kemenag RI for the process of implementing sarpras procurement, 3) conducting inventory, and deletion, and 4) supervision of sarpras by the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) as the party appointed and responsible for overseeing the procurement process and financial expenditure for infrastructure needs.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, the role of madrasah principals determines the quality of education services. This study aims to determine the role of madrasah principals in organizing to improve educational services. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, and document studies. At the same time, data processing techniques use Sugiyono's theory by reducing data (data reduction), presenting data (data display), and verifying data (concluding). The results showed that the role of the madrasah head in organizing towards improving educational services is to determine the work specialization or duties of teachers and employees, clarify the delegation of authority and responsibility of teachers and employees, and tighten control of the chain of command of the hierarchical structure or the position and function of teachers and employees in the madrasah. The results of this study can be recommended to the Head of the District/City Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to strengthen the organization and the leadership of madrasah principals to improve the quality of education services.
