Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik perkembangan kognitif pada siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kajian literatur. Kajian literatur adalah sebuah penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan sumber data yang berkaitan dengan suatu topik. Pengumpulan data untuk kajian literature dilakukan dengan alat pencarian database sebagai tahapan pencarian sumber literature. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa karakteristik perkembangan kognitif pada anak berbeda-beda antara satu dengan lainnya. Perkembangan kognitif anak usia MI harus disesuaikan dengan kemampuan belajar dan menerima pembelajaran dari pendidiknya. Begitu pula sebaliknya, pendidik juga harus menyesuaikan kemampuan otak para peserta didik sehingga dapat menerima pelajaran dengan baik. Anak bertumbuh dan berkembang selayaknya lingkungan dan stimulasi yang ditawarkan. Hal inilah yang menjadi alasan mendasar perbedaan perkembangan kognitif anak.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prinsip-prinsip perkembangan manusia dalam perspektif Islam. Sejauh ini, kita hanya mengetahui perkembangan manusia secara biologis dan ilmu sosial. Namun, dalam perspektif Islam terdapat prinsip – prinsip perkembangan manusia yang harus kita ketahui. Desain penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur,yaitu mempelajari buku-buku referensi dan hasil-hasil penelitian sejenis yang dilakukan oleh orang lain. Jenis penulisan yang dilakukan adalah traditional review yang fokus pada topik mengenai prinsip-prinsip perkembangan manusia dalam perspektif islam Pengumpulan data untuk kajian literatur dilakukan dengan alat pencarian database sebagai tahapan pencarian sumber literatur. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat lima prinsip perkembangan manusia dalam perspektif islam, diantaranya, pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia merupakan proses yang bertahap, pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia memiliki pola tertentu, perkembangan manusia adalah proses kumulatif dan simultan, pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia melampaui keberadaan fenomena dunia, dan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia melewati periode kritis dan sensitif tertentu.

Abstract

The low interest and reading ability of elementary school students, especially at the Addini Islamic Foundation, is a problem that needs to be addressed in this study. This study aims to develop PowerPoint-based e-bookstory learning media as an innovation to improve students’ reading skills in fairy tale material. The subjects of this study were grade II students, with the Research and Development (R&D) method of the 4-D model, which was simplified into the define, design, development, and disseminate phases. The results of the study showed that the e-bookstory media was very feasible to use, with an average validation score of 89%, and its effectiveness was classified as high based on an increase in the N-Gain score of 76%. These findings show that the use of e-bookstory media can significantly increase students’ interest and reading ability and receive very positive responses from teachers and students. The implications of this research indicate that the integration of digital and interactive media in the learning proces such as e-bookstories can be an effective strategy to overcome reading difficulties at the elementary level. Furthermore, this approach can be adopted by educators as a complementary tool to conventional methods, especially in early grade literacy programs. The success of this media also opens opportunities for further innovation in the development of multimedia-based learning tailored to various themes and subjects, thereby supporting the broader goal of improving literacy culture in schools.

Abstract

Learning the Indonesian language in elementary schools often encounters challenges, particularly in fostering active student participation and ensuring comprehension of texts, especially fables. To address this issue, Student Worksheets (LKPD) are designed to enable learners to construct their knowledge through meaningful learning activities independently. This study aims to examine the impact of LKPD implementation on students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons, focusing on fable texts. A quantitative approach was employed using a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design, involving 25 fourth-grade students from MIS Al-Hidayah Sidodadi as participants. A multiple-choice test served as the primary instrument to measure achievement. The data analysis revealed a significant improvement in learning outcomes after the introduction of LKPD, as evidenced by the paired-sample t-test result showing a significance value (2-tailed) of less than 0.001, which is below the 0.05 threshold. Consequently, the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) was accepted. These results align with Bruner’s constructivist theory, which emphasizes the importance of active student engagement in building knowledge through exploration and structured activities. Therefore, the use of LKPD has been proven effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian language instruction.
