Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prinsip dasar etika dalam sebuah penelitian ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah dengan metode Library Research atau riset kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan berbagai macam data maupun literasi yang dibutuhkan untuk penelitian ini. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Prinsip dasar etika dalam penelitian ilmiah yaitu, menghormati & menghargai harkat martabat manusia sebagai subjek penelitian, menghormati privasi dan kerahasiaan subjek penelitian, memegang prinsip keadilan & kesetaraan, memperhitungkan dampak positif maupun negatif dari penelitian. 2) Etika peneliti dalam penelitian ilmiah yaitu: kejujuran, objektivitas, integritas, ketepatan, tanggung jawab sosial, kompetensi dan legalitas. 3) Etika peneliti kepada responden, asisten dan klien. 4) Pelanggaran etika dalam penelitian ilmiah, diantaranya: fabrikasi, falsifikasi, plagiarime dan konflik kepentingan. Seorang peneliti hendaknya menerapkan prinsip dasar etika dalam penelitian ilmiah agar dapat menghasilkan sebuah penelitian yang baik dan layak untuk dipublikasikan.

Abstract

In the covid-19 era, activities are forced to be done from home, including learning activities. Because of the limited network, students' interest in doing assignments becomes low. Thus teachers tend to ignore the assessment of learning outcomes during the pandemic. Even though assess learning outcomes is very important to do, one of them is a daily test which aims to find out the extent to which students understand the lesson. This study aims to determine the use of the Quizizz applicationwith science literacy oriented as a media for assessing learning outcomes during the study. The research method used is applied research, namely by implementing the Quizizz application in science literacy for online assessment. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. Quantitative data collection was obtained with closed questions. Questionnare is given after students doing daily tests using Quizizz with science literacy oriented. The daily test consists of 20 multiple choice questions of Motion with 10 literacy discourses. The result of daily test is devided into three part, namely high, medium and low. Based on the result of daily test 13 students who get high accuracy score, 9 students in medium cluster and 8 students in low cluster. Overall students give positive responses to using Quizizz with science literacy oriented and agree to be used in the daily test. Based on students perceptions, the use of Quizizz is very interest and science literacy help them remember what they have learned.. However, there needs to be assistance from the teacher when new students use Quizizz for the first time.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) activity is to maximize the use of the Liveworkssheets platform. In carrying out service, the method used is Asset Based Community-driven Development. The training and mentoring process begins with the first stage being pre-implementation, the second stage is the implementation of research, and the third stage is research evaluation which is divided into five stages (Define, Discovery, Dream, Design, and Deliver or Destiny). This activity was attended by 15 mathematics teachers who are members of the MGMP Mathematics MTs/SMP Rayon 2 Jambi City community. The results of the activities include: 1) Increased understanding from MGMP Mathematics MTs/SMP Rayon 2 Jambi City teachers about the importance of digital literacy. 2)Increased technical knowledge of participants from initially not knowing to knowing after getting training using the Liveworksheets platform. 3)Teachers are interested in using the liveworksheets platform when compiling questions for the purposes of midterm tests or end-of-semester tests because of the ease of compiling and checking students' answers.

Abstract

The effectiveness of a policy can be determined after an evaluation of the policies conducted. Policy of Full day school endorsed by the Education Minister under the law on Permendikbud number 23 Year 2017 is considered still not been adopted universally in Indonesia, because there are still many things that need to be re-examined on the implementation, where there are still many weaknesses in the educational system full day school. For that Permendikbud is canceled by the issuance of Presidential Decree number 87 Year 2017 on Article 9, where the education system only full day school is optional, and not required to be applied in all schools Indonesian. Referring to the developed countries such as the US, Japan and Finland in the implementation of full day school is also not requiring all schools to implement these systems. In fact, Finland as the country ranks first in the world in the field of education version of MED NF, 2017, declared anti to full day school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan membandingkan dua jenis penelitian utama, yaitu penelitian eksperimental dan non-eksperimental. Fokus penelitian melibatkan analisis dua desain penelitian khusus, yaitu desain kausal komparatif dan desain korelasional. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur dan analisis dokumen untuk mendapatkan teori-teori atau tulisan-tulisan yang berkaitan dengannya. Adapun hasil dari tulisan ini: 1) Penelitian eksperimental adalah pendekatan yang melibatkan manipulasi variabel independen untuk mengukur dampaknya terhadap variabel dependen. 2)Penelitian non-eksperimental, khususnya desain korelasional, melibatkan analisis hubungan antara variabel tanpa adanya manipulasi variabel. Desain ini memungkinkan identifikasi korelasi dan asosiasi antara variabel-variabel yang diamati. 3) Design klausal komparatif adalah salah satu pendekatan penelitian yang memiliki fokus pada perbandingan antara dua atau lebih kelompok, kondisi, atau variabel independen untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan atau kesamaan di antara mereka. Dalam penelitian klausal komparatif, peneliti berusaha untuk memahami dampak variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen, tetapi tujuannya lebih pada perbandingan daripada kausalitas. 4) Penelitian korelasional sangat berguna untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan dan tren dalam data, tetapi tidak memberikan bukti sebab-akibat. Hasil dari penelitian korelasional dapat mengarah pada hipotesis kausal, tetapi diperlukan desain eksperimen lebih lanjut untuk menguji hubungan tersebut dengan lebih rinci.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking Skills (HOTS) are 21st-century skills that must be facilitated in learning. However, currently, teachers are having problems understanding and designing HOTS skills instruments. This research aims to determine teachers' understanding in designing HOTS questions and determine the integrity of teachers' knowledge with instruments prepared by Social and Science subject teachers. This research is a mixed-method study with an Explanatory-Sequential Approach design. This research involved eight teachers with varied teaching experience. The results show that teachers lack understanding in preparing HOTS questions where the average achievement is 66.4% in every aspect of preparing HOTS questions. Analysis of the questions used by teachers shows that teachers still use questions at LOTS level (C1-C3). The interview results were coded using N-vivo, teachers had misconceptions about the development of HOTS questions and had different understandings in developing HOTS instruments. Future research can facilitate teachers to develop teachers' HOTS Instrument Preparation skills through training or workshops.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui instrumen performance alternative dan authentic assessment berbasis keterampilan berpikir kreatif guna meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan pengumpulan, pencatatan, dan pengelolaan referensi dari berbagai sumber literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui asesmen kinerja dan autentik yang dirancang secara kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan nyata. Asesmen kinerja efektif melatih siswa dalam menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui tugas-tugas terbuka yang mendorong pemikiran kreatif dan analitis, sementara asesmen autentik memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dengan melibatkan siswa dalam proses evaluasi yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor secara terintegrasi. Kedua metode asesmen ini terbukti mampu mengembangkan kefasihan, fleksibilitas, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi dalam penyelesaian masalah, sehingga mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran sains secara optimal.

Abstract

This article discusses and analyzes about. Correlation between Madrasah Culture, Leadership Style and Work Ethics of Madrasah Heads and Career Growth of State Madrasah Aliyah Teachers in Jambi Province. This literature review article writing method uses library research methods sourced from online media such as Google Scholar, Mendeley and/or other academic online media. The results of this article are: a). The relationship between the behavior of madrasah principals (X1) and teacher career growth (Y). B). The relationship between empowerment of madrasa heads (X2) and teacher career growth (Y). c). The relationship between the Madrasah Head's Work Ethics (X3) and teacher career growth (Y). d). Abstract

The research was conducted at a private Madrasah Aliyah School in the Riau Islands, where the research sample area used area or regional sampling techniques. The Riau Islands Province consists of several cities or districts so it was taken based on the map, namely the West, Central and East regions. Representing the Western region is Karimun Regency, the Eastern region is represented by Tanjungpinang City, the Central region is represented by Batam City. With a total of 91 respondents, 30 were used as trial samples, and the remaining 61 as research samples. The research variables were: Influence of Leadership Style (X1), Reward System (X2), Teacher Competition Intensity (X3) and Madrasah Effectiveness (X4). This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of the Leadership Style of Madrasah Heads, the Reward System and the Intensity of Teacher Competition on the Effectiveness of Madrasah Aliyah in Private Madrasah Aliyah, Riau Islands Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple correlation and regression techniques. The results of this research show that the leadership style, reward system and intensity of teacher competition have a joint influence on the Madrasah Aliyah effectiveness variable of 92.8%, which means it is very strong. So it can be concluded that the better the leadership style, reward system and intensity of teacher competition, the better the effectiveness of Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the behaviour of the heads of madrasahs in building trust among teachers in Riau Province, identify the main reasons behind the inability of heads of madrasahs to build trust among teachers, and to find effective leadership behaviours to enhance that trust. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to deeply explore the leadership dynamics of the heads of madrasahs in building trust among teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis at three research locations. Data analysis was conducted using a flowing data analysis technique to identify key patterns in leadership practices and their impact on teacher trust. Data validity was ensured through data triangulation from various sources and methods, as well as by confirming findings with research participants. The conclusions of the study indicate that increasing teacher involvement in decision-making processes, more effective communication, and support for professional development are key elements in building trust among teachers. At MAN 1 Pekanbaru, increasing teacher participation in decision-making and improving communication effectiveness are priorities. At MAN 1 Indragiri Hulu, a shift from an authoritative to a more inclusive leadership style is needed. Meanwhile, at MAN 1 Indragiri Hilir, there is a need for further improvements in communication and professional development support. The recommendation of this study is to adopt a participatory and communicative leadership approach to create a harmonious and trusting educational environment.
