Abstract

This study aims to examine the correlation between Entrepreneurial Competence, Social Competence, and Managerial Competence with Strategic Decisions. The usefulness of this research is to enrich the scientific paradigm in the field of Islamic Education Management, particularly in the study of Human Resource Management. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method. The research population includes all academic communities in State Madrasah Aliyah in Riau Islands Province. The sample consisted of 155 respondents, selected through purposive sampling techniques. A questionnaire with a Likert scale was used as the instrument. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis. The results show that: (1) Entrepreneurial Competence (X1) has a direct influence on Strategic Decisions (Y) by 27%. (2) Social Competence (X2) has a direct influence on Strategic Decisions (Y) by 30%. (3) Managerial Competence (X3) has a direct influence on Strategic Decisions (Y) by 44%. (4) Entrepreneurial Competence (X1), Social Competence (X2), and Managerial Competence (X3), simultaneously, have a direct influence on Strategic Decisions (Y) by 48%. The conclusion of this study is that Entrepreneurial Competence, Social Competence, and Managerial Competence can influence Strategic Decisions. Strategic decisions are a crucial element in determining the direction and sustainability of an organization. This research proves that several factors can influence strategic decision-making, including entrepreneurial competence, social competence, and managerial competence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership, Work Climate, and Skill Variety on the effectiveness of teacher work teams at Integrated Islamic Junior High Schools in the Riau Islands Province. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consists of 120 teachers selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The research instrument is a Likert-scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using Spearman correlation tests and non-parametric regression with the aid of SPSS version 29.00. The results show that all independent variables are positively and significantly related to teacher work team effectiveness (Transformational Leadership: ρ = 0.757; Work Climate: ρ = 0.795; Skill Variety: ρ = 0.767; p < 0.05). Non-parametric regression testing indicates a significant simultaneous effect (ρ = 0.000). Partially, Transformational Leadership (p = 0.253; p = 0.000), Work Climate (ρ = 0.355; p = 0.000), and Skill Variety (ρ = 0.282; p = 0.000) significantly influence teacher work team effectiveness. Work climate is proven to be the dominant factor affecting team effectiveness. The implications of this study affirm that improving teacher work team effectiveness must be carried out holistically through strengthening school principals’ transformational leadership, creating a conducive work climate, and developing teachers’ skill variety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan membandingkan dua jenis penelitian utama, yaitu penelitian eksperimental dan non-eksperimental. Fokus penelitian melibatkan analisis dua desain penelitian khusus, yaitu desain kausal komparatif dan desain korelasional. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur dan analisis dokumen untuk mendapatkan teori-teori atau tulisan-tulisan yang berkaitan dengannya. Adapun hasil dari tulisan ini: 1) Penelitian eksperimental adalah pendekatan yang melibatkan manipulasi variabel independen untuk mengukur dampaknya terhadap variabel dependen. 2)Penelitian non-eksperimental, khususnya desain korelasional, melibatkan analisis hubungan antara variabel tanpa adanya manipulasi variabel. Desain ini memungkinkan identifikasi korelasi dan asosiasi antara variabel-variabel yang diamati. 3) Design klausal komparatif adalah salah satu pendekatan penelitian yang memiliki fokus pada perbandingan antara dua atau lebih kelompok, kondisi, atau variabel independen untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan atau kesamaan di antara mereka. Dalam penelitian klausal komparatif, peneliti berusaha untuk memahami dampak variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen, tetapi tujuannya lebih pada perbandingan daripada kausalitas. 4) Penelitian korelasional sangat berguna untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan dan tren dalam data, tetapi tidak memberikan bukti sebab-akibat. Hasil dari penelitian korelasional dapat mengarah pada hipotesis kausal, tetapi diperlukan desain eksperimen lebih lanjut untuk menguji hubungan tersebut dengan lebih rinci.

Abstract

Lingkungan dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar, apalagi pembelajaran biologi khususnya dalam pembelajaran taksonomi tumbuhan. Dengan contoh-contoh tumbuhan yang terdapat di sekitar siswa, akan membantu memahami dan mengoptimalkan pemahaman tentang taksonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan ensiklopedia taksonomi tumbuhan bergambar berbasis potensi lokal untuk SMA/MA, mengetahui kelayakan, serta mengetahui respon guru dan siswa terhadap produk yang di kembangkan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ini (1) Produk yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah ensiklopedia taksonomi tumbuhan bergambar berbasis potensi lokal. (2) menunjukkan bahwa produk ini layak diujicobakan dengan nilai 43 kategori baik untuk validasi materi dan validasi desain dengan skor 46 dengan kategori baik. (3) Uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar di peroleh nilai 264 (78%) kategori baik dan uji coba kelompok besar dengan nilai 869 (77%) kategori baik. (4) Hasil dari respon guru terhadap ensiklopedia taksonomi tumbuhan bergambar berbasis potensi lokal memperoleh skor 40 yang berarti kategori baik, respon guru yang kedua memperoleh skor 39 yang berarti baik. Dengan demikian ensiklopedia taksonomi tumbuhan bergambar berbasis potensi lokal dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran taksonomi tumbuhan di sekolah.

Abstract

Accreditation ranking serves as a key quality indicator for higher education institutions, including Private Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PIHEIs). However, organizational factors that drive accreditation success—particularly through the role of lecturer performance—have not been widely examined empirically in the local context. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method with 95 respondents from 4 PIHEIs XII in Jambi Province as the sample. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares approach (SEM-PLS) to test the direct and indirect effects of Organizational Culture (X1) and Organizational Communication (X2) on Accreditation Ranking (Z) mediated by Lecturer Performance (Y). The results indicate that Organizational Culture has a significant positive effect on Lecturer Performance (?=0.554; p<0.001), but not directly on Accreditation; rather, its effect is fully mediated by Lecturer Performance (?=0.289; p<0.001). Organizational Communication has a significant direct effect on Accreditation (?=0.341; p<0.001), but no significant effect on Lecturer Performance. Lecturer Performance is proven to be the strongest predictor of Accreditation (?=0.521; p<0.001; f²=0.468). The model explains 70.4% of the variance in Accreditation (R²=0.704). The findings suggest that improving PIHEIs accreditation requires a dual strategy: (1) fostering organizational culture to enhance lecturer performance (long-term), and (2) refining communication systems to improve the efficiency of the accreditation process (short-term). Lecturer performance serves as a critical bridge between organizational inputs and institutional outcomes.

Abstract

This research based on several articels published in journal education from 2021 to 2023. The articles are about evaluation of learning in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domain in direct learning or synchronous and asynchonous learning. This research use study literation with meta-analysis by collecting data from journals. The aim of this research are to determine the implementation of learning evaluation in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains and to determine the inovation of evaluation that can be used in synchronous and asynchronous learning. The results of the research show that the learning evaluation in cognitive domain has been carried out, but the affective and psychomotor domain have not been carried out optimally. One of the innovations in learning evaluation in the synchronously or asynchronously class is using the Kahoot! as a learning evaluation in cognitive domain. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berdasarkan pada studi literatur beberapa artikel ilmiah yang terbit dalam jurnal pendidikan dalam rentang waktu lima tahun terakhir yaitu tahun 2021 sampai 2023. Artikel-artikel yang digunakan adalah artikel yang membahas tentang evaluasi pembelajaran ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor baik dalam pembelajaran tatap muka maupun pembelajaran daring sinkronus dan asinkronus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi literatur dengan metode meta-analisis melalui tinjauan literatur artiel ilmiah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor serta mengetahui inovasi evaluasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring sinkronus dan asinkronus. Hasil studi lietratur menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi kognitif telah terlaksana, akan tetapi evaluasi afektif dan psikomotor belum terlaksana maksimal. Salah satu inovasi dalam evaluasi pembelajaran daring secara sinkronus maupun asinkronus dapat menggunakan platform Kahoot! sebagai media evaluasi kognitif.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the success of the management of a language laboratory in improving students' Arabic language competence. This was a qualitative descriptive study. The research findings show that the language learning process through the laboratory increased the students' listening and speaking skill. The language learning process through the laboratory was supported by extracurricular activities. This activity also had a positive impact on language learning achievement of students who previously did not understand Arabic. Then, laboratory as a place for accommodating students' talent such as laboratories was very helpful for students in the learning process; this was because the students could communicate directly with native speakers. The implementation of the development of teaching and learning activities using the Arabic language laboratory was directed to students through inservice training programs. The evaluation program was conducted by Arabic language lecturers to see the level of achievement obtained by students after finishing studying in two ways, namely competitive and non-competitive.

Abstract

This study aims to test the hypothesis of the relationship between potential, employee competence and work motivation with employee performance at the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Jambi Province. This research is a quantitative research with survey method. The sampling technique used a probability sampling technique with a sample size of 42 PUPR employees. Hypothesis testing using correlation analysis with a significance level of = 0.05. Data Result This research concludes that either partially or simultaneously there are: 1). There is a direct relationship between employee potential (X1) and Employee Performance (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.73. 2) a direct relationship between employee competence (X2) and employee performance (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.83. 3) a direct relationship between work motivation (X3) and employee performance (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.53. 4) there is a simultaneous direct relationship between employee potential (X1), employee competence (X2), and work motivation (X3) with employee performance (Y) , with an Fcount of 68.89 and Ftable of 4.01 with a correlation coefficient (Rx1x2x3Y ) of 0.883. The implication of this research is that based on the results of the analysis, it is known that from the two structural models studied, in the first model, namely employee performance as an endogenous variable, competence is the dominant factor that affects employee performance when compared to work motivation. In structural model 2 which places employee potential as an endogenous variable, it is known that employee performance is the dominant factor, then competence and finally work motivation. Based on these findings, the priority of improving employee performance can be done through increasing potential, employee competence and work motivation.

Abstract

The formulation of variable problems and focus in research often makes mistakes for researchers of scientific papers. The purpose of this research is to see research techniques and understanding related to formulating problems scientifically, variables and research focuses in a research. The approach in this study uses a literature study approach, data collection techniques that are carried out using documentation from various books and scientific articles that are relevant to the theme raised. In a research, the main main thing of thought and the essential thing is the problem. Research problems that have been identified and limited in order to obtain problems that are worthy of research must still be formulated in order to provide direction for the researcher. A good problem formulation must be able to include and show all variables and the relationship of one variable to another that is to be studied. The source of research problems can be obtained from variables related to problems that are often faced by humans. A problem is a description of the gap between theory and practice, between rules and practice, or between expectations and reality. Problems arise due to challenges, doubts about phenomena, ambiguities, obstacles or gaps. The focus of research is a series of form of problem structure that is described as the center or subject of discussion in a research topic. The focus of this research is expected so that the research has the right focus, so that it is able to collect data and analyze data in accordance with the research objectives.
