Abstract

Manajemen informasi dan basis data merupakan aspek penting dalam tata kelola lembaga pendidikan Islam di era digital. Namun implementasinya menghadapi sejumlah permasalahan, baik dari segi teknis, sumber daya manusia, maupun aspek kebijakan. Penelitian dan pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa banyak lembaga pendidikan Islam masih menghadapi keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya literasi digital tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, hingga lemahnya sistem keamanan data. Permasalahan ini berdampak pada kualitas pengambilan keputusan dan efektivitas tata kelola lembaga. Tulisan ini membahas permasalahan utama dalam manajemen dan basis data serta menawarkan solusi berupa sistem digitalisasi, peningkatan kapasitas SDM, dan penguatan regulasi berbasis nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

Research is a systematic and structured scientific process aimed at finding solutions to various problems, particularly in the field of Islamic education. This paper aims to describe the steps of educational research, including problem identification, literature review, research preparation, data collection, data analysis, conclusions, and research reporting and evaluation. The method used in writing this paper is a literature study, reviewing various relevant literature sources. The results of the discussion indicate that the research begins with the identification and formulation of a clear problem as the primary basis for the research. Next, a literature review is conducted to obtain a strong theoretical foundation. The research preparation stage includes planning the research methodology and instruments. Data collection is conducted systematically according to the method used, then analyzed to produce valid and objective findings. The final stage includes the conclusion of the research results, as well as reporting and evaluation as a form of scientific accountability. By following systematic research stages, educational research is expected to produce findings that are relevant, valid, and beneficial for the development of science and improving the quality of Islamic education practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research design in educational policy, including its approaches, implementation, and challenges in the policy research process. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method by reviewing books, scientific journals, and relevant policy documents. Data were collected through documentation studies and analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that research design plays an important role in producing evidence-based educational policies that are relevant to educational needs. Three main approaches are commonly used in educational policy research, namely quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches, each of which has its own characteristics and advantages in analyzing educational policies. The implementation of research design has also been applied in various educational policy studies, such as the evaluation of School Operational Assistance (BOS), the Merdeka Curriculum, and inclusive education policies. In addition, the study found that the main challenges in educational policy research design include limited data access, stakeholder complexity, and gaps between theory and practice in the field. Therefore, a systematic and comprehensive research design is essential to support effective, adaptive, and quality-oriented educational decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to conceptually examine experimental research designs in Islamic education management. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, drawing data from scientific journals, methodological books, and relevant academic publications. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify concepts, characteristics, and the application of experimental designs within the context of Islamic education. The findings indicate that experimental designs play a significant role in supporting evidence-based decision-making through the examination of causal relationships. Three main types of experimental designs are identified: true experimental, quasi-experimental, and pre-experimental, each with different levels of validity and limitations. In the context of Islamic education management, the implementation of experimental designs faces structural, cultural, and ethical challenges, particularly in institutions such as madrasahs under the Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia, pesantren, and Islamic schools. Therefore, selecting adaptive and contextual designs is necessary to maintain methodological relevance. This study contributes theoretically to strengthening research methodology in Islamic education.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a type of research conducted by teachers in their own classrooms to improve and enhance the quality of learning continuously. CAR is carried out because there are still various problems in the teaching and learning process, such as low student participation, lack of learning motivation, unsatisfactory learning outcomes, and the use of less effective teaching methods. This study aims to explain the definition of Classroom Action Research, its objectives and benefits, its characteristics and principles, as well as the design and stages of its implementation. The method used in this study is library research with a qualitative approach through collecting data from books, scientific journals, and references related to Classroom Action Research. The results of the study indicate that CAR has an important role in improving the quality of learning through the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection carried out repeatedly. CAR not only helps improve student learning outcomes, but also enhances teacher professionalism, reflective abilities, and the quality of education in schools. In addition, CAR is in line with Islamic values that emphasize the importance of change, self-evaluation, and the development of knowledge. Therefore, Classroom Action Research becomes a systematic effort that teachers can apply to create more effective, active, and high-quality learning processes.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of sound survey research design in producing valid, reliable and relevant data. Through an analysis of the fundamental principles of survey design, this study emphasises that careful planning and systematic implementation at every stage of the research are key factors in minimising errors and bias. Furthermore, survey research plays a strategic role as a method capable of providing accurate information to support the decision-making process. By applying an appropriate survey design, researchers not only improve the quality of research outcomes but also make a significant contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge and professional practice across various fields.
