Abstract

Proses bongkar material bahan baku pupuk merupakan proses yang penting dalam operasional PT WINGS. Dalam proses distribusi atau pengangkutan raw material dari pelabuhan menuju gudang pabrik atau ruang produksi, salah satu peralatan utama yang digunakan adalah conveyor. Selama ini, conveyor 02M603 yang digunakan dalam proses bongkar di pelabuhan PT WINGS masih sering mengalami kerusakan sehingga menimbulkan kerugian salah satunya dalam bentuk biaya demurrage. Solusi dari permasalahan ini ialah memberikan usulan rencana jadwal perawatan mesin dengan menggunakan metode reliability centered maintenance. Hasil penerapan metode Reliability Centered maintenance diperoleh empat komponen yang harus dirawat secara terjadwal (time directed) yaitu: carrier roller, support carrier, impact roller dan rubber seal. Komponen-komponen tersebut merupakan komponen yang paling sering mengalami kerusakan dan menyebabkan downtime pada conveyor 02M603. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diusulkan agar perawatan dilakukan bukan selama 100 jam atau setiap 1 kali bongkar karena salah satu komponen, yaitu carrier roller memiliki nilai MTTF dibawah 200 jam, sehingga apabila perawatan dilaksanakan tiap 200 jam dapat memperbesar kemungkinan terjadinya downtime akibat kerusakan carrier roller.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Antrian merupakan suatu fenomena yang dihadapi konsumen pada industri jasa dan dunia usaha. Mengantri merupakan kondisi dimana sekumpulan orang, komponen atau mesin yang membutuhkan layanan harus menunggu dalam suatu urutan tertentu sebelum akhirnya memperoleh layanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Alfamidi GKB. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada alfamidi GKB adalah adanya antrian yang menumpuk setiap dilakukan pelayanan di kasir, khususnya pada jam-jam tertentu seperti jam pulang kerja dan lain-lain. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan simulasi sistem antrian untuk mengetahui perbaikan sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan simulasi dengan software ARENA untuk menentukan rancangan perbaikan sistem terbaik untuk mengatasi antrian pada kasir di alfamidi GKB. Parameter output model yang digunakan untuk perbaikan sistem adalah waktu tunggu pelanggan untuk dilayani. Dalam sistem real, waktu tunggu pelanggan adalah 0.572646 menit sedangkan untuk model usulan perbaikan yang dipilih adalah 0.103557. Dari hasil tersebut, bisa disimpulkan bahwa sistem rancangan perbaikan yang dilakukan membawa keberhasilan, yaitu bisa menurunkan waktu tunggu pelanggan yang ada di kasir alfamidi GKB. Kata kunci : Antrian, Software Arena, Sistem ABSTRACT Queues are a phenomenon faced by consumers in the service industry and business world. Queuing is a condition where a group of people, components or machines that need a service must wait in a certain order before finally getting service. This research was conducted at Alfamidi GKB. The problem that occurs at Alfamidi GKB was that there were queues that pile up every time service was carried out at the cashier, especially at certain times such as after work time and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to simulate the queuing system to determine system improvements. This research used a simulation approach with ARENA software to determine the best system improvement scenario to overcome the queue at the cashier at Alfamidi GKB. The model output parameter used for system improvement was the customer waiting time to be served. In the real system, the customer waiting time was 0.572646 minutes, while for the improvement proposal model chosen it was 0.103557. From these results, it can be concluded that the improvement design system carried out had been successful, namely being able to reduce customer waiting times at the Alfamidi GKB cashier. Abstract

ABSTRAK Karena permintaan kapal yang tinggi untuk kepentingan niaga dan militer, industri kapal memiliki peluang besar di dalam dan luar negeri. Bangunan pekerjaan kapal terdiri dari bagian kapal atau blok yang membentuknya. Setiap blok harus dikerjakan oleh beberapa orang dari berbagai bagian. Peningkatan suhu tubuh di dalam ruangan adalah salah satu masalah yang timbul dari hal ini. Selain itu, karena pekerjaan dilakukan di lingkungan yang langsung terkena sinar matahari, suhu di tempat kerja meningkat dengan cepat, yang menyebabkan peningkatan suhu tubuh dan peningkatan jumlah keringat, yang dapat menyebabkan bahaya tersengat listrik. Kondisi seperti ini sering menyebabkan penundaan pekerjaan dan penurunan produktivitas hasil pengelasan. Suhu tubuh yang tidak wajar yang melebihi batas normal, tentunya memiliki dampak yang tidak diharapkan. Baik dampak yang menimpa pekerja sendiri maupun bagi perusahaan. Untuk itu dirancang suatu alat yang bisa menormalkan suhu tubuh dalam kondisi seperti ini, alat ini dinamakan pendingin tubuh. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode value engineering. Hasil dari penelitian ini antara lain turunnya kecelakaan kerja sebesar 5%, meningkatnya produktivitas pengelasan sebesar 25% dan penghematan biaya sebesar 40% dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Abstract

Sistem perawatan preventive maintenance di jembatan timbang unit 1 PT IGLAS masuk belum efektif. Terbukti mulai bulan Juni 2017 sampai dengan bulan Nopember 2018 telah terjadi 32 kali kerusakan yang menyebabkan berhentinya proses penimbangan, sehingga hasil penimbangan di jembatan timbang unit 1 tidak mampu memenuhi rata-rata 6.500.000 – 7.000.000 Kg perbulan yang telah ditetapkan oleh manajemen PT IGLAS. Untuk itu, dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab kerusakan di jembatan timbang unit 1 PT IGLAS dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis dan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kerusakan dengan menggunakan metode Logic Tree Analysis dalam menentukan prioritas penanganan penyebab kerusakan jembatan timbang unit 1 PT IGLAS. Dari penelitian ini diketahui terdapat 17 penyebab kerusakan di jembatan timbang unit 1 dan didapatkan failure mode indikator load cell rusak dengan failure cause overload penimbangan memiliki nilai RPN tertinggi yakni 45. Terdapat 6 penyebab kerusakan dengan kategori B atau jenis outage problem yang artinya mempunyai konsekuensi terhadap operasional mesin yang menyebabkan kerugian ekonomi secara signifikan. Untuk itu antar unit kerja perlu dilakukan preventive maintenance secara bersinergi dan evaluasi jenis material eksisting yang terpasang di jembatan timbang unit 1 PT IGLAS

Abstract

Dalam kelangsungan proses operasi atau proses produksi, peranan manusia masih merupakan hal yang paling utama. Pada pelaksanaan proses operasi di CV Karya Manunggal Teknik masih bergantung penuh dari peranan manusia. Tetapi tidak dibarengi dengan pemahaman terhadap pekerja mengenai prosedur kerja yang benar. Sehingga pekerja tidak mengetahui risiko potensi bahaya yang akan terjadi dan dampak yang akan diakibatkannya sampai dengan faktor penyebab dari timbulnya risiko potensi bahaya itu muncul atau terjadi. Dari hal ini, maka bagaiamana cara untuk mengetahui setiap bahaya yang akan terjadi. Untuk itu dengan pendekatan metode Hazard Identification and Risk Asessment dan metode Fault Tree Analysis, bisa menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi. Dapat diketahui risiko bahaya yang terjadi dan yang akan muncul pada setiap jenis pekerjaan. Pekerjaan pembuatan kanopi dan pagar terdapat 9 risiko bahaya, pekerjaan pembuatan poros pintu terdapat 6 risiko bahaya, pekerjaan pembuatan as roda terdapat 6 risiko bahaya, pekerjaan pembuatan rak sepatu dan rak bunga terdapat 4 risiko bahaya dan pekerjaan pembuatan tralis terdapat 3 risiko bahaya. Dari hasil pengolahan dan analisis dapat diketahui terdapat 8 risiko bahaya yang memiliki tingkat nilai yang paling tinggi. Maka dapat diketahui masing – masing penyebab dari risiko bahaya yang memiliki kategori risiko bahaya yang paling tinggi tersebut. Diantaranya terdapat 31 penyebab dari ke 8 jenis risiko bahaya yang memiliki kategori tinggi.

Abstract

The craft industry in Indonesia, including leather bag production, plays a crucial role in local economic development and cultural preservation. Nambangrejo Village in Sukorejo District is one example of a leather bag craft center that has grown and developed over generations. The tradition of leather bag making in this village began with the skill of creating simple leather goods for daily needs, and over time evolved into more complex and economically valuable leather bag production. This study aims to explore the potential, challenges, and development strategies of the leather bag industry based on local wisdom in Nambangrejo Village. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations, this research found that the leather bag industry in this village faces challenges such as globalization, market competition, and changing consumer preferences. Although production is still limited to a small scale, its development potential is significant if supported by appropriate strategies, such as training, network collaboration, and product innovation. Additionally, there are three key roles that can support the development of local wisdom in the leather bag industry: the roles of the government, academics, and the craftsmen themselves. With a comprehensive approach, this industry has the potential to become a strong local economic force that can compete in a broader market while maintaining its cultural idenity.

Abstract

Practicum is an academic process taken in an educational institution. The use of materials in practicum is very important. By choosing materials for appropriate practical activities, it will produce good practicum output. In this study, alternative steel was selected in order to obtain steel that meets the needs of the practicum. The results of the tensile test of 3 steel materials with the one-way anova method obtained a value of 0.187 > 0.05, which means that the P-Value is greater and it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between steel material A, steel B and Steel Bja C. This means that the practicum process activities can choose the type of steel material at the most affordable price because at a price that is within reach, you have obtained a type of steel material that has the same quality as steel Other.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze poverty in Tuban Regency which includes Effect of education level, income and consumption on partial and simultaneous poverty. The method used is a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis techniques. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. Data used secondary data from Statistics of Tuban Regencys in 2008-2016, which includes data on education level, income, consumption and poverty. The results of the research. There is a significant effect between the education level on poverty, because the significant value of the education level variable is smaller than 0.050 which is equal to 0.037. There is no significant effect between income on poverty, because the significant value of the income variable is greater than 0.050 which is equal to 0.365. There is no significant effect between consumption on poverty, because the significant value of the consumption variable is greater than 0.050 which is equal to 0.094. There is a significant effect together between education level, income, and consumption on poverty, because the significant value is smaller than 0.050 which is equal to 0.001 so this result shows that the independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable together.

Abstract

Welding is an important process in manufacturing work to produce strong and durable joints. In the welding process, there are various parameters that are considered and used, especially in the FCAW welding process. In this study, several types of FCAW welding machine parameters used are ampere, voltage, and interval time of welding. The purpose of this study is to obtain the best welding quality results by combining these parameters by finding a comparison of the three parameters to minimize one of the welding defects, namely deformation. The method used is using DOE. This method allows to identify the parameters that most affect the quality of the weld and determine the optimal settings for each parameter. From the results of data processing and analysis, it was found that the voltage parameter was the most influential on deformation. The combination of levels in the predetermined parameters is ampere at level 1 with a number of 150 A, voltage at level 1 with a number of 22 V, and interval time at 10 minutes. The experimental data model has been tested with regression analysis to obtain an R-squared of 79.43%, and the residual plot analysis follows a straight line, so that the model is normally distributed and the statistical test results are significant, meaning that the observation data represents real data.

Abstract

With the development of penal theory, the retributive approach to punishment is increasingly seen as misaligned with the needs of society. As a result, there is a recognized need for legal provisions that reflect societal values and emphasize punishment goals that strengthen the community. Prison sentences often lead to issues such as overcrowded facilities and a failure to meet punishment goals. Additionally, many convicts tend to become recidivists after completing their sentences in correctional institutions, reinforcing the stigma of prisons as "criminal schools." The issues to be examined include: a) how are conditional sentences regulated in Law Number 1 of 1946?; and b) how is the policy of supervision sentences as an alternative to imprisonment in degrading the stigma of prison as a criminal school? The research was conducted using a normative method, with a legislative approach. The legal materials used include both primary and secondary legal materials, which were analyzed using deductive analysis techniques. Under the old Penal Code, conditional sentences did not involve immediate imprisonment; instead, the convicted person was given the opportunity to prove their ability to live as a good citizen during a specified probation period. In contrast, the National Penal Code introduces alternatives to prison sentences, such as supervision sentences. These supervision sentences in the National Penal Code serve as an extension of conditional sentences, placing greater emphasis on more intensive and structured supervision. The placement of convicts outside correctional institutions is considered the primary penal system, with the imposition of supervised sentences based on general and specific requirements. In future implementation, an ideal model for the execution of this supervisory sentence is required.
