Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the instructional media that effectively attracts students’ attention in Arabic language learning is audiovisual media. The presence of audiovisual media not only supports classroom instruction but also facilitates students’ independent learning. This article aims to examine the importance of teachers’ use of audiovisual media in Arabic language instruction and to analyze its contribution to improving learning quality. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method with a library research approach. The research stages consisted of: (1) searching for and collecting relevant literature from scientific databases, (2) selecting and validating sources based on topic relevance, research objectives, and publication recency, (3) categorizing data according to the focus of the study, and (4) analyzing and synthesizing the data using a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings indicate that the use of audiovisual media enhances students’ motivation, engagement, and enthusiasm, while also creating more meaningful learning experiences through the integration of visual and auditory elements. Furthermore, audiovisual media facilitates the understanding of abstract concepts and supports more effective learning interactions. These findings are consistent with the multimedia learning theory, which emphasizes structured information delivery through visual and verbal channels to minimize cognitive load and strengthen students’ mental representations. Therefore, the planned and learner-centered use of audiovisual media plays a strategic role in improving the effectiveness of Arabic language learning and fostering a more engaging, innovative, and participatory learning environment. ABSTRAK Media pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang efektif dalam menarik perhatian siswa salah satunya adalah media audio visual. Kehadiran media ini di kalangan siswa tidak hanya mendukung proses pembelajaran di kelas, tetapi juga membantu peserta didik untuk belajar secara mandiri. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pentingnya pemanfaatan media audio visual oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta menelaah kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan (library Research). Tahapan penelitian meliputi: (1) penelusuran dan pengumpulan literatur yang relevan melalui dasar data ilmiah, (2) seleksi dan validasi sumber berdasarkan kesesuaian topik, relevansi, dan keterbaruan publikasi, (3) pengelompokan data sesuai fokus penelitian, dan (4) analisis serta sintesis data secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual mampu meningkatkan motivasi, keaktifan, dan antusiasme siswa, sekaligus menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna melalui integrasi elemen visual dan audio. Media ini juga memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep abstrak dan mendukung interaksi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Temuan tersebut sejalan dengan teori multimedia pembelajaran yang menekankan pentingnya penyajian informasi melalui saluran visual dan verbal secara terstruktur untuk meminimalkan beban kognitif serta memperkuat representasi mental siswa. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan media audio visual secara terencana dan disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta didik memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik, inovatif, dan partisipatif.

Abstract

The increasing amount of industrial and agricultural waste necessitates innovation in the use of environmentally friendly alternative materials in the construction sector. This research aims to analyze the influence of varying cement, sand, seashell powder, and coconut fiber powder compositions on the compressive strength and porosity of paving blocks using the Taguchi method and ANOVA. The experimental design uses an orthogonal array L16 (4⁴), resulting in 16 experimental combinations. The test results indicate that coconut husk powder is the most significant factor influencing porosity, while other factors have a relatively small effect. The optimum parameters for porosity were obtained at a cement composition of 643.24 g, sand 915.84 g, seashell powder 686.883 g, and coconut fiber powder 0 g. Meanwhile, the optimum compressive strength was achieved at cement 643.23 g, sand 2289.60 g, seashell powder 228.961 g, and coconut fiber powder 0 g. Regression analysis showed that the model had a good fit with an R² of 0.8967 for porosity and 0.5625 for compressive strength. This research proves that utilizing clamshell and coconut husk waste has the potential to produce high-quality paving blocks while also supporting sustainable waste management.

Abstract

The increasing amount of industrial and domestic waste poses a serious challenge to environmental sustainability. Utilizing waste materials as substitutes in construction offers a promising solution. This study aims to optimize the composition of eco-friendly paving blocks by incorporating seashell waste and coconut coir powder using the Taguchi method. Four factors including cement, sand, seashell powder, and coconut coir powder were analyzed at four variation levels based on an orthogonal array L16 (4⁴), producing 16 experimental combinations. Compressive strength was used as the main performance parameter. The Signal-to-Noise (S/N) ratio analysis showed that coconut coir powder had the greatest effect on compressive strength, followed by seashell powder, cement, and sand. The optimal composition was obtained with 643.23 g of cement, 2289.60 g of sand, 228.961 g of seashell powder, and no coconut coir powder. Although ANOVA results indicated no statistically significant factors (p > 0.05), coconut coir powder had the strongest influence. The regression model explained 56.25% of the variation in compressive strength. These findings suggest that seashell waste can serve as a viable partial replacement material for producing environmentally friendly and cost-effective paving blocks.

Abstract

Penelitian autoscaling Kubernetes berbasis reinforcement learning saat ini kurang memiliki evaluasi statistik yang ketat, dengan sebagian besar hanya mengandalkan eksperimen skenario tunggal yang tidak dapat membedakan keunggulan algoritmik yang sebenarnya dari variasi acak. Kesenjangan metodologis ini melemahkan validitas dan reprodusibilitas peningkatan kinerja yang dilaporkan dalam literatur manajemen sumber daya cloud. Studi ini mengembangkan kerangka evaluasi berbasis simulasi yang kuat secara statistik untuk membandingkan secara ketat algoritma autoscaling reinforcement learning terhadap Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) Kubernetes standar, membangun metodologi benchmarking yang dapat direproduksi dengan pengujian signifikansi statistik yang tepat dan kuantifikasi ukuran efek. Sebuah simulator kejadian diskrit Python yang mengemulasi komponen control-plane Kubernetes (Metrics Server, Controller Manager, Scheduler) dengan dinamika siklus hidup pod yang realistis telah dikembangkan. Autoscaler Hybrid DQN-PPO dan HPA dievaluasi menggunakan desain eksperimen berpasangan di 30 skenario lalu lintas sintetis independen selama 24 jam. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, koreksi Holm-Bonferroni untuk perbandingan berganda, ukuran efek Cohen’s d, dan interval kepercayaan bootstrap. Hasil mengungkapkan trade-off fundamental antara biaya dan kualitas: Hybrid DQN-PPO mencapai kualitas layanan superior dengan 60,58% lebih sedikit pelanggaran SLA, 19,61% lebih cepat latensi P95, dan 4,83% lebih cepat waktu respons rata-rata (semua p < 0, 001). Namun, peningkatan kualitas ini memerlukan premi biaya 8,92% ($6,87 per skenario) dibandingkan dengan HPA, yang mempertahankan utilisasi CPU 7,96% lebih tinggi melalui efisiensi sumber daya yang agresif (p < 0, 001). Perbedaan kinerja berasal dari strategi kontrol yang sangat berbeda: HPA menggunakan kontrol reaktif (menunggu pelanggaran sebelum scaling), mengoptimalkan biaya; Hybrid menggunakan kontrol prediktif (mencegah pelanggaran secara proaktif).

Abstract

Surface roughness is a critical indicator of machining quality that directly affects product performance and service life. However, most existing prediction studies focus on single-material machining and rely on a single predictive model, limiting their effectiveness in real industrial environments where multiple materials are commonly processed. To address this gap, this study proposes an intelligent multimodel system for surface roughness prediction in CNC turning of multiple materials. The experimental investigation was carried out using two commonly applied steels, ST41 and S45C, with 81 machining trials performed for each material. Vibration signals were recorded using a three-axis accelerometer and combined with machining parameters consisting of feed rate, spindle speed, and depth of cut. The acquired signals were analyzed in both time and frequency domains through Fourier transformation, resulting in the extraction of eighteen vibration-related features that were normalized and used as model inputs. Three prediction techniques, namely Multiple Linear Regression, Support Vector Regression, and Artificial Neural Networks, were developed and integrated within the proposed system. System performance was evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and statistically analyzed through one-way ANOVA and Tukey post-hoc tests. The results demonstrate that the ANN model consistently achieved the highest prediction accuracy, with MAPE values of 2.81% for S45C, 4.72% for ST41, and 4.42% for the combined-material dataset, outperforming the Regression and SVR models. These results confirm that the proposed intelligent multimodel system provides a robust, accurate, and practical solution for vibration-based surface roughness prediction in CNC turning of multiple materials.

Abstract

Islamic parenting faces significant challenges in the modern context, especially with the influence of technology that can divert children's attention from religious practices. This study aims to explore the influence of Islamic parenting and parental religious understanding on the spiritual intelligence of children in Muslim families in Metro City. The method used is quantitative, with the population being Muslim parents who have children aged 5-9 years. The sampling technique used is proportional stratified random sampling, with a total sample of 100 individuals. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that Islamic parenting has a significant effect on children's spiritual intelligence. This study also found that parents' religious understanding significantly contributes to the development of children's spiritual intelligence. Regression analysis results indicate that Islamic parenting and religious understanding together positively influence children's spiritual intelligence, with the regression equation ȳ = 23.576 + 0.223X1 + 0.452X2.
