Abstract

Peningkatan kapasitas dosen dalam menghadapi pendidikan berbasis teknologi merupakan kebutuhan mendesak dalam dunia pendidikan tinggi saat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi konkrit terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Pelatihan interaktif dilaksanakan melalui aplikasi Zoom pada tanggal 11 Desember 2023, melibatkan 28 dosen dari berbagai perguruan tinggi. Materi pelatihan mencakup konsep dasar dan aplikasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, serta strategi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan mencakup peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dosen terhadap teknologi pendidikan, terlihat dari kemampuan mereka mengintegrasikan berbagai alat bantu pembelajaran digital. Dosen juga berhasil menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan relevan. Komunitas pembelajaran berkelanjutan melalui forum diskusi online menjadi wadah efektif untuk pertukaran ide dan dukungan antar dosen.

Abstract

Public interest in integrated Islamic madrasahs and schools is growing, yet challenges remain in delivering comprehensive and effective educational services. This study aimed to explore the forms of educational services developed in madrasahs and integrated Islamic schools, as well as the involvement of teachers, educational personnel, and parents in enhancing service quality. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation at four research sites in Serang City, Indonesia. Participants included school principals, teachers, administrative staff, and parents. The results indicated that suitable educational services in madrasahs comprised core subject learning, extracurricular activities, talent development, and library services. Additional facilities included science laboratories, counseling rooms, places of worship, school cooperatives, canteens, and multimedia rooms. In integrated Islamic junior high schools, services also involved dormitory management, health programs, and auxiliary services such as laundry and sewing. Teacher councils and educational personnel actively supported these services, while parental involvement further enhanced service quality. Limitations included restricted land for sports facilities and the need for improved public awareness of new services. In conclusion, integrated Islamic schools that implement comprehensive educational strategies attract greater public interest and foster holistic student development. Future research should investigate the long-term impact of these services on academic performance, character formation, and community engagement, as well as strategies to optimize limited resources and expand access to high-quality educational services.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan salah satu permasalahan serius di lingkungan sekolah dasar yang berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan akademik dan psikologis siswa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar tentang pencegahan bullying melalui program edukasi yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) Universitas Bina Bangsa kelompok 70. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 40 siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI SDN Cinumpi, Desa Malanggah, Kecamatan Tunjung Teja, Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukasi partisipatif, meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, permainan edukatif, simulasi, serta sesi tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk bullying dengan benar dan memahami dampak negatif bullying, dan sebagian besar menunjukkan sikap empati serta kesadaran untuk menghargai teman sebaya. Kendala yang ditemui antara lain keterbatasan waktu dan perbedaan tingkat pemahaman siswa, namun diatasi dengan pemutaran video edukatif sebagai media pendukung. Kegiatan ini memberikan implikasi positif terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa dan berkontribusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, ramah anak, dan bebas bullying.

Abstract

Di era digital, perpustakaan dituntut menjadi pusat layanan informasi yang adaptif dan inovatif. Salah satu wujudnya adalah perpustakaan digital yang melengkapi fungsi perpustakaan konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan koleksi perpustakaan digital iJateng oleh Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen terhadap tiga pustakawan yang terlibat langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan koleksi dilakukan melalui enam tahapan, yaitu analisis masyarakat melalui usulan pemustaka, pengamatan fitur review dan statistik peminjaman pada aplikasi, seleksi bahan pustaka, pengadaan bahan pustaka melalui pembelian dari pihak ketiga serta upload koleksi mandiri koleksi yang memang diperuntukkan secara bebas, evaluasi tahunan, dan menerapkan strategi pengembangan koleksi untuk menyesuaikan minat masyarakat, serta kebijakan yang diterapkan masih mengacu pada sistem konvensional namun disesuaikan dengan konteks digital. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), peralatan, dan anggaran. Secara keseluruhan, pengembangan koleksi telah berjalan baik namun masih perlu dioptimalkan.

Abstract

This study examines the genealogy, history, and transformation of Vihara Sima 2500 Buddha Jayanti as a center of spirituality and social engagement within the context of the Buddhist revival in Indonesia. Established in 1958 to commemorate 2500 years of the Buddha's passing, the vihara plays a strategic role in strengthening national and international religious and cultural networks. Using a qualitative and descriptive-analytical approach, this research reveals the process of revitalizing the vihara from its period of prominence through decline, to its renewed function as a meditation and community development hub that is open and inclusive. The findings indicate that the vihara functions not only as a place of worship but also as a social, educational, and multicultural space capable of addressing modern societal challenges. This revitalization demonstrates that traditional religious institutions can successfully build relevant spiritual identities and respond to Indonesia's social dynamics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of gadgets and reading interest of class XII students in one of the high schools The approach in this study uses descriptive quantitative methods with a correlation approach The population of this study were all XII grade students and the sample used was 30 students The technique used in sampling is proportional stratified random sampling Data collection was carried out using questionnaires observation and documentation Variable measurement was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and correlation test The results of this study found that there is a relationship where the use of smartphones affects students reading interest Based on the result the product moment correlation test analysis with a value of X = 67 77 and Y = 80 4 nbsp; resulting in r = 0 949 meaning that there is a significant correlation between gadget used toward reading interest This evidenced by the value of the product moment coefficient which shows that r gt; 0 01 Therefore Teachers parents are expected to be able to minimise students gadget use in addition the role of teachers parents in motivating providing reading materials or reading activities can be one aspect of supporting students interest in reading < p>
