Abstract

The objective of this research is to conduct a juridical examination of the protection of inheritance rights for nonmarital children from their biological father mother under Indonesian law. Nonmarital children have historically faced legal challenges concerning The acknowledgment of the civil status bond between the child and the biological father, which directly impacts their succession rights. This study analyzes provisions of positive law in Indonesia, particularly those regulated under Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage, the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), the Civil Code and Constitutional Court Decision No. 46/PUU-VIII/2010, which opens avenues for acknowledging the biological relationship between a nonmarital child and their father through evidentiary means such as DNA testing. Additionally, this study discusses the role of gifts (hibah) and obligatory bequests (wasiat wajibah) as alternative legal instruments to safeguard the inheritance status of children resulting from valid marital relationships, particularly within the context of positive law. The findings of this analysis indicate that, although the KHI imposes limitations on sharia lineage, the Constitutional Court decision provides legal certainty and constitutional protection for children born outside official marital bonds to claim Rights to inheritance derived from their natural parents. However, the implementation of this protection continues to encounter technical and cultural obstacles, necessitating further regulatory adjustments and public socialization. This research recommends regulatory adaptations and enhanced access to biological evidence to strengthen the safeguards for the inheritance rights of nonmarital children in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates identifying the most appropriate song rhythms to support ideal English language learning in the madrasah context, as viewed from students’ perspectives. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving four students from MTs NU Pakis as participants. Data were collected through classroom observations, questionnaires, and interviews, with data validity ensured through triangulation. The findings indicate that songs with slow to moderate tempo are preferred and perceived as more effective in facilitating listening comprehension, speaking skill, and boosting motivation in language learning. Students reported that such rhythm made it easier to grasp meaning, imitate pronunciation, and reduce anxiety during English lessons. Songs like “I have a dream” and “You raise me up” were found to create a motivating and supportive learning environment. Therefore, rhythm selection plays a significant role in enhancing language acquisition in madrasah-based EFL instruction. This study offers practical insights for EFL practitioners in selecting effective musical aids, emphasizing the critical link between musical rhythm and pedagogical outcomes in religious educational settings.

Abstract

This study examines the application of geographic information systems (GIS) to measure and visualize the financial performance of micro enterprises in remote areas of East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Micro enterprises are crucial to local economies but often face barriers such as limited capital access, inadequate infrastructure, and insufficient business training. Using a mixed-method approach, the research combined surveys of 200 micro business owners, secondary economic data, and GIS-based spatial analysis. The results indicate clear spatial disparities: enterprises located closer to financial institutions and training programs achieved 25–30% higher profitability and stronger operational resilience. GIS mapping effectively identified performance clusters and underserved zones, providing actionable insights for targeted policy interventions. Key factors influencing financial outcomes include access to capital, training opportunities, and infrastructure quality. This study demonstrates the value of GIS as a decision-support tool for policymakers in designing spatially informed financial assistance, infrastructure planning, and mobile training deployment. The findings contribute to socio-economic planning discourse and propose a replicable GIS-based framework for strengthening microenterprise resilience in underdeveloped regions.

Abstract

Proses pengajuan cuti di PT Matahari Putra Makmur sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti keterlambatan persetujuan, risiko hilangnya dokumen, serta kurangnya transparansi data cuti. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun aplikasi pengajuan cuti berbasis Android (SICUTI) menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) agar proses pengajuan cuti menjadi lebih cepat, efisien, dan terintegrasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Sistem yang dikembangkan dilengkapi fitur pengajuan cuti digital, riwayat cuti, multi-level approval, serta pembatasan otomatis maksimal tiga kali cuti per bulan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan akurasi fungsional sebesar 97,14%, validasi fitur 100%, waktu respon 0.8–1.5 detik, dan skor User Acceptance Test (UAT) rata-rata 4.56, yang menandakan sistem sangat layak digunakan. Dengan demikian, aplikasi SICUTI mampu meningkatkan kecepatan layanan, akurasi pencatatan, serta transparansi proses cuti karyawan
