Abstract

The aim of this study described about the integration between discovery models with religious aspect in Biology subject to develop student’s scientific behavior. Discovery is a systematic discovered learning model and each step of it gives an encouragement to do an investigation. Researcher combined each step of discovery syntax with religious aspect to give a simultaneously chance to the students, so they got scientific knowledge and religious aspect on Biology subject that they studied. There was no difference between science and religious aspect on learning method related to the concept mastery, 2) psychomotor; and 3) scientific aspect. Focus of this study was to develop scientific behavior such as curiosity, critical thinking, and honesty in Biology subject, because the teacher hadn’t integrated religious and scientific aspect during learning process, meanwhile the pattern of the integration through scientific process of syntax discovery. This study developed discovery learning models integrated with religious aspect through class action room research and it implements in Senior High School/Islamic Senior High School. This instructional procedure concept discovery model integrated with religious aspect using Lee and Jang’s procedure (2014). Need analysis, design, implement, and evaluate relate to discovery learning design integrated with religious aspect on Science (Biology) learning. Abstract

The objectives of research Biology matter are (1) aspects of mastery of concepts related to cognitive learning outcomes, (2) aspects of scientific work skills; and (3) aspects of religious and scientific attitudes. At this time science (Biology) learning integrated with Religious Values is still being debated regarding how what theories support it and why does it require integration? Therefore, this researcher aims to describe the inculturation learning model of Religious Values in Biology Learning with the Approach Approach because at this time religious and scientific learning has not been integrated in the sense that when teachers teach do not associate religious values. Religious values can be integrated into science learning because science and religion are closely related. While the pattern that was carried out for integration was through the process of inculturation. Inculturation has been studied by several western theologians, walisongo scholars, religious leaders in the archipelago and national education figures such as Ki Hajar Dewantara. This study developed a discovers learning model that is integrated with religious values. Through the inculturation process in its implementation, the instructional design process for the inculturation process using the ADDIE model. In the ADDIE process an analysis of the needs of students, teaching materials, learning facilities and infrastructure and needs related to the design of learning inculturation of religious values in science learning (Biology) in regular and flexible activities includes knowledge of effective teaching and learning, development that is to develop learning models inculturation of religious values in learning Biology so that it can be implemented in the learning process and evaluated. In this research conceptually, the teaching material of each sub-topic is related to the Qur'anic verses/hadith and the process can use the media of songs, poetry, religious poetry, and sholawat following the content of the subject matter of science.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of learning methods and achievement motivation on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The method used in this research is a survey method with correlation analysis techniques. The approach used is a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires to measure learning methods and achievement motivation, as well as tests of PAI learning outcomes. The research sample was selected using a random sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the applied learning methods and student learning outcomes. The hypothesis test results indicate that at a 99% confidence level (α = 0.01), the multiple correlation coefficient (Ry₁₂) is 0.471. Thus, Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted, which means that there is a positive and highly significant influence of teacher personality competence and school culture together on student learning motivation. Further analysis reveals that a combination of effective learning methods and high achievement motivation has a greater impact on learning outcomes. This study emphasizes the importance of innovation in learning methods and strengthening student motivation to improve the quality of Islamic Education learning.
