Abstract

The car door is a vital component of an automobile, playing a key role in passenger safety during accidents. For an energy-saving competition, the strength of a car prototype's door was thoroughly examined using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). This study involved three testing methods: pole side impact, side impact, and door slam tests. Simulations were conducted using the Finite Element Method (FEM) with aluminum alloy 6061-T4, type-E fiberglass, and type-S fiberglass as materials. These materials were selected based on their stress properties, mass, and cost. The simulation indicated that the side impact test produced the highest stress levels, especially in the fiberglass materials. While the aluminum alloy exhibited higher von Mises stress than its tensile strength in one case, both types of fiberglass maintained safety as their tensile strengths exceeded the maximum von Mises stress. The pole side impact test showed aluminum's highest stress and deformation, whereas fiberglass materials showed higher stress and deformation in the side impact test. The door slam test demonstrated minimal stress and deformation across all materials. Among the three, type-E fiberglass demonstrated the most favorable and safest performance. Consequently, type-E fiberglass is highly recommended as the ideal material for the car prototype's door.

Abstract

Penelitian terkait perbankan syariah di Indonesia lebih menekankan penelitian yang melihat dari kinerja keuangan (financial performance). Masih agak sedikit penelitian yang mengkaji secara dalam isu-isu terkait peran perbankan syariah dalam pengembangan sosial-ekonomi (social performance). Padahal pengukuran kinerja perbankan syariah akan lebih baik jika diarahkan untuk pengembangan sosial-ekonomi yang sesuai dengan aspek teoritiknya. Penelitian ini akan mengeksplorasi kinerja perbankan syariah dari perspektif kinerja sosial (Islamic Social Reporting) yang dikaitkan dengan variabel-variabel ekonomi dari tahun 2012-2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan prosedur kuantitatif atau penelitian yang bersifat kausalitas yakni pengukuran sebab akibat antara variabel Mudharabah Musyarakah Rasio (MMR) dan Ekonomi Sektor Rasio (ESR) dengan Islamic Social Reporting (ISR). Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan-temuan sebagai berikut, terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan antara Mudharabah Musyarakah Rasio terhadap Islamic Social Reporting. Hal itu dilihat secara parsial dari nilai thitung = 6,359 yang artinya thitung 6,359 > ttabel 1,688. Secara parsial juga variabel Ekonomi Sektor Rasio juga berpengaruh terhadap Islamic Social Reporting. Hal itua secara parsial nilai thitung = 3,025 yang artinya thitung 3,025 > ttabel 1,688. Dan secara simultan, dilihat dari Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) diketahui pengaruh dari kedua variabel independen yakni Mudharabah Musyarakah Rasio dan Ekonomi Sektor Rasio terhadap Islamic Social Reporting sebesar 0.790 atau 79%. Hal itu berarti 79% variabel Islamic Social Reporting dapat dijelaskan secara bersama-sama (simultan) oleh variabel independen dalam penelitian yakni Mudharabah Musyarakah Rasio dan Ekonomi Sektor Rasio yaitu 79% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 21 % dijelaskan oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak diteliti atau tidak dimasukkan ke dalam model regresi empirik sebagaimana dilakukan dalam penelitian ini

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of organizational culture (OC) and human resource development practice (HR) on knowledge assets (KA) and knowledge transfer performance (KT). This type of research is survey research that takes samples from a population and uses a questionnaire as a primary data collection tool. The population in this study were all staff in the PT PLN (Persero) UIW Sulselrabar of 197 people. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sample. The results of the study show that OC and HR have a significant impact on KA. KA has a significant impact on KT, while OC and HR are not significant on KT. Finally, the perceived benefits of OC and HR can create positive attitudes about KA.

Abstract

The problem of the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is the most dominant research topic, especially in developing countries that rely on these sectors in their economy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of MSMEs through the mediation of business independence variables. This type of research is field research and literature which aims to answer the formulation of the research problem. The research location is in Makassar City, South Sulawesi. The population in this study is 16.492 MSMEs. The number of samples in this study was determined by the Slovin formula, so the sample size is 100 SMEs. The sampling method is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique, namely proportional random sampling for each business sector. Data analysis techniques use structural equation model analysis. The results showed that the entrepreneurial orientation variable had a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs, both directly and through the business independence variable. Based on the findings of this study, further research is needed regarding the performance of SMEs to explore other variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengembangan UMKM di Kabupaten Soppeng, strategi pemerintah dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan pertumbuhan, serta tantangan utama yang dihadapi. Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data primer melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pelaku UMKM dan pejabat pemerintah, serta data sekunder dari studi dokumentasi kebijakan UMKM. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah telah menerapkan strategi peningkatan produksi, SDM, dan pemasaran. Namun, pengembangan UMKM terhambat oleh keterbatasan modal, rendahnya inovasi produk, kurangnya literasi digital, dan persaingan pasar yang ketat.

ABSTRACT This paper explores the theoretical exchange between two influential legal thinkers, H.L.A. Hart and Lon F. Fuller. The first mentioned represent the school of legal positivism while the later known as the defender of natural law theory. This paper refers to their early works of Hart’s “Positivism and the Separation of Law and Morals” and Fuller’s “Positivism and Fidelity to Law-A Reply to Professor Hart” which both published in 1958. Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the Influence of Recruitment on Employee Performance, Placement on Employee Performance, and Motivation on Employee Performance at PDAM Tirta Jeneberang, Gowa Regency. This type of research is a quantitative research with a sample of 43 respondents using a questionnaire as data collection. The analysis used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using the SPSS Version 24 application. The results of the study show that: 1. Recruitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 2. Placement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and 3. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Makassar Utara. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada fokusnya terhadap industri energi, khususnya di sektor kelistrikan yang memiliki tantangan spesifik dalam pengembangan karir, seperti kebutuhan tenaga kerja yang terampil di bidang teknis dan regulasi ketat yang mempengaruhi mobilitas karir. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana untuk menguji hubungan antara pengembangan karir dan kinerja karyawan dalam konteks industri energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 68 responden yang merupakan karyawan PT. PLN UP3 Makassar Utara. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 28. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Program pengembangan karir yang terstruktur, seperti pelatihan, promosi, dan mutasi, terbukti dapat meningkatkan kompetensi serta produktivitas karyawan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan di industri energi perlu lebih memperhatikan strategi pengembangan karir yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan teknis dan regulasi industri. Implementasi program pengembangan karir yang lebih adaptif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi kerja, mengurangi tingkat turnover, serta mendukung keberlanjutan organisasi dalam menghadapi tantangan industri yang dinamis. This study aims to analyze the impact of career development on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Makassar Utara. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on the energy industry, particularly the electricity sector, which faces unique challenges in career development, such as the need for highly skilled technical workers and strict regulations affecting career mobility. Additionally, this study adopts a quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between career development and employee performance within the energy industry.The research utilizes quantitative data collected through questionnaires distributed to 68 employees of PT. PLN UP3 Makassar Utara. The data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 28. The findings indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Structured career development programs, such as training, promotion, and job rotation, have been proven to enhance employee competence and productivity. This study highlights the importance for companies in the energy sector to focus more on career development strategies tailored to technical requirements and industry regulations. Implementing more adaptive career development programs can improve employee competencies, reduce turnover rates, and support organizational sustainability in facing dynamic industry challenges.

Abstract

Arabic literature is a means of gender mainstreaming which is very rich in gender issues. This is based on the social fact that Arab society in its historical footsteps has a stereotype as a community that is very thick with its patriarchal culture. Consequently, the social condition which is less responsive to gender influences the birth of Arabic literary works in various types in which gender issues such as marginalization of women, subordination of women to men, violence, negative stereotypes, and others. This article is qualitative research by using feminist Arabic literary criticism as a perspective, gender mainstreaming in Arabic literature is carried out by tracing the gender issues that exist in Arabic literature in its various forms. Through feminist Arabic literary criticism, various theories of feminist literary criticism consisting of ideological criticism, gynocritical criticism, socialist criticism, psychoanalytic criticism, ethnic criticism, and lesbian criticism, are applied in transforming and reconstructing gender-responsive relations between men and women.

Abstract

This article aims to offer a concept of overcoming the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic by empowering the communities economic through mosques movement as civil society approach. That merely government efforts can’t solve communities’ economic problems, so mosques civil society based movement could be one of the actual modern discourses to be "glimpsed". In order to provide opportunities to alternatives in helping goverment in improving the welfare of its people. Civil society in economic perspective is  community’s efforts aim to protect people against the uncertainty of the global economy and freeing people from the clutches of conglomeration done by creating an independent economic network. Therefore the bargaining position of civil society as a catalyst of dialogue, balancing interests, picking up signals, and in mobilizing the collective action of various state institutions, markets, and society has a strategic role.
