Abstract

This paper examines the morphological changes of Depok City in one century (1920- 2020) by using a morphological component approach of land use, road patterns, and building patterns. This study used the historical method, which includes four stages: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that the morphological growth of Depok City showed significant growth and changes. The land use of Depok City in the last century has shown changes with an increase in the residential, trade, and service sectors, and industry, on the other hand, a reduction in the agricultural and plantation sectors. The street pattern network of Depok City shows a change from a linear pattern to a spinal pattern and currently has a mixed pattern. The building pattern that was previously linear then spread to cover almost the entire Depok area. The residential, religious, and colonial-style agricultural products storage buildings are now developing into modern-style residential.

Abstract

This research is part of multi-year research, which is undertaken for two years. This research aims to analyze the possibility of applying three principles of Transit Oriented Development’s (TOD) concept. Those three principles are densifying, mixing, and compacting. By analyzing the option of applying those principles, it have been proposed the best solution to issues and problems within the historical area of Kota Tua Jakarta. The significance of this research is the historical area in Indonesia, particularly Jakarta Kota Tua, which has been regarded as a historical area within a metropolitan city. Since that the idea of TOD itself has been known as a perfect solution in some countries, particularly within metropolitan cities that have a relatively large population. This research has conducted the qualitative method using a case study as a way of thinking to get a clear description and fact. Kota Tua Jakarta has been designated as a case study because this area is one of the study significant historical regions in Jakarta. The result of this research will support another about the historical district and Transit-Oriented Development’s concept.

Abstract

This paper is a literature and precedent study examining the heritage trail of the City of Istanbul, Turkey. Istanbul, Turkey, was chosen as the object of the precedent study because the city is rich in history and Islamic civilization. As the title implies, this study also aims to reveal how the heritage trail is applied as a tourism of Islamic culture and history. As a reference, a guide on the heritage trail is used to review each trail presented for analysis. Four heritage trails in the City of Istanbul have been selected to represent all existing heritage trails. These four trails are the Istanbul Introduction Walk, the Istanbul Old CLineline, the Mosques of Istanbul Lane, and the Old European Quarter line. Four heritage trails were chosen as a representation of the many heritage trails in Istanbul, Turkey, and are four paths that have spatial meaning both spatially and in terms of building figures that can represent all heritage trails of Istanbul, Turkey. The study is carried out on the study of precedents by applying narratively the method of literature and precedent study. Data was collected through field observation techniques, observations, and experiences of the architectural space of the City of Istanbul. Direct description of objects is also done by doing the experience of architectural space on each object discussed in this precedent study. The results of this study are intended as a discourse and additional insight for all circles, both academics and the broader community, so that they better understand the existence of cultural heritage around it. With the guidance of the heritage trail, the study is carried out based on existing principles, looking at the grouping of buildings on each path presented based on the year of civilization, architectural style, history, and supporting elements.

Abstract

The development of a machine learning-based computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system implemented for processing lung ultrasound images will greatly assist doctors in making decisions in diagnosing lung diseases. The learning method of the classifier model used in the computer-aided diagnosis system will affect the system's accuracy in diagnosing lung disease. Determining variables in the classifier and image pre-processing stages requires special attention to obtain a highly accurate classifier model. This study presents the development of a machine learning-based CAD as an add-on tool to classify lung disease based on a lung ultrasound (LUS) video. The main steps in this study are capturing the LUS videos and converting them into images, image pre-processing for speckle noise removal, image contrast and brightness enhancement, feature extraction, and the classification stage. In this study, three learning algorithm models, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Naïve Bayes (NB), were used to classify images into three categories, namely healthy conditions, pneumonia, and COVID-19.  The performance of the three classifier models is compared to each other to obtain the best classifier model. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the suggested strategy utilizing the SVM classifier. Based on experimental data using 2,149 lung images for three classes and 20 texture feature sets, the SVM has an accuracy of 98.1%, the KNN is 94.7%, and the Gaussian NB is 79.6%. The model with the highest accuracy will be used to develop the computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system.

Abstract

Koperasi Syariah Dosen Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika di Sukabumi mengalami transformasi dengan implementasi aplikasi SIKOMPAK untuk memperkuat prinsip akuntabilitas dan transparansi. Berangkat dari permasalahan minimnya akuntabilitas dan transparansi real-time pada transaksi koperasi yang masih berbasis media sederhana, penelitian ini mengembangkan dan menguji aplikasi SIKOMPAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kenyamanan anggota dalam mengakses layanan keuangan koperasi melalui SIKOMPAK. Menggunakan metode Research and Development, aplikasi ini dikembangkan dan diuji dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan SIKOMPAK memudahkan anggota melakukan transaksi keuangan, meningkatkan kenyamanan, serta mendukung kesejahteraan anggota melalui fitur seperti simpanan, pinjaman, dan laporan keuangan. Analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara aksesibilitas dan fitur aplikasi dengan persepsi kesejahteraan anggota. Kesimpulannya, SIKOMPAK berpotensi menjadi model bagi koperasi lain dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan dosen melalui digitalisasi layanan berbasis syariah. The Sharia Cooperative for Lecturers at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika in Sukabumi has undergone transformation through the implementation of the SIKOMPAK application to reinforce principles of accountability and transparency. Addressing issues of limited real-time accountability and transparency in cooperative transactions, which were previously managed with simple media, this study developed and tested the SIKOMPAK application. The research aims to evaluate member convenience in accessing cooperative financial services via SIKOMPAK. Utilizing a Research and Development approach, the application was developed and tested through a quantitative methodology. The findings indicate that SIKOMPAK facilitates financial transactions, enhances user convenience, and supports member welfare through features such as savings, loans, and financial reports. Quantitative analysis reveals a significant positive relationship between the application’s accessibility and features with members' perceived welfare. In conclusion, SIKOMPAK has the potential to serve as a model for other cooperatives in improving lecturers’ welfare through the digitalization of Sharia-based services.

Abstract

SMS from these various considerations is feasible to use. The level of ownership of cellular phones and affordable costs are considerations that support the adoption of this technology to be widely applied for the application of information system development in the present and in the future.Distance and long time are no longer a problem that can hinder obtaining information about the exam schedule, the SMS received does not come directly from the sender, but comes from the SMS Center. So, before the SMS reaches the recipient, the SMS actually enters the SMS Center first,The PDU contains not only the message, but also a lot of information about the sender. Starting from the sender's number, the sender's SMSC number, the validity time of the SMS, and so on. Everything is built in the form of hexadecimal numbers. SMS-based student exam scheduling using AT Command GSM which is used as a command in communication with the serial port. Scheduling with the AT command technique is very effective as information for students.

Abstract

This study examines the morphological changes of Kowloon Area of Hong Kong by using a morphological component approach of land use, street patterns, and building patterns. The method of this study used the historical method, which includes four stages: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that the morphological growth of Kowloon Area showed significant growth and changes. The land use of Kowloon Area as a historical area has shown changes with an increase in the residential, trade, and service sectors, and industry, which is balanced to increasing the green area, on the other hand, a reduction in the agricultural and plantation sectors. The street pattern network of Kowloon Area of Hong Kong shows there are many pedestrian lane and areas for pedestrian and currently has a mixed pattern. The building’s types in Kowloon Area of Hong Kong have been regarded as a modern one which are contextual with the historical buildings from colonial era within the area.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to describe in depth how PAI teacher competency influences the moral formation of students at MTs Raden Fatah. Through in-depth interviews PAI teachers a, this research revealed that teachers' personality competencies, especially in terms of warmth, empathy and effective communication, create strong emotional bonds between teachers and students. This bond becomes the basis for the process of internalizing religious values and sustainable moral formation. Students tend to imitate the behavior of teachers who they consider to be ideal and exemplary figures. Apart from that, teachers who have good personality competencies are able to create a safe and comfortable learning environment, so that students feel freer to ask questions, collaborate and develop themselves.

Abstract

Raisins are one of the processed grape products that are often found in the market, raisins are one of the processed grape products by drying. The color and quality of raisins are usually determined by the type of grape and the drying process. To assess the quality of raisins, many methods can be used, one of which is the traditional method carried out by humans manually. However, since traditional methods are considered to tend to take a long time and errors often occur due to human error. Currently, machine vision systems can be used to assess the quality of raisins. In addition to assessing the quality of raisins, this method can also be used to identify and classify raisins. One way to classify raisins is to use data mining with classification algorithms. This research applies 5 data mining classification algorithms namely naïve bayes, decision tree, random forest, neural network and SVM. From the modeling results of the five algorithms, the neural network algorithm has the highest accuracy of 86.81%.

Abstract

The recommendation system has been implemented in digital marketing used in marketing products and services. The recommendation system is used to provide offers of goods and services in accordance with customer habits and interests in the proposed products and services, but in practice the right product offering for customers leads to the idea of developing a product recommendation system. Purchase data obtained from customers can be used to analyze customer needs and product preferences. In the recommendation system, Collaborative Filtering is one of the most commonly used algorithms. The purpose of this study is to find out how accurate the recommendation system is based on the purchase of similar goods between consumers using User-based Collaborative Filtering. Based on the results of the study, User-based Collaborative Filtering using Cosine Similarity calculations can be applied and produce 10 product recommendations with an RMSE value of 0.9.
