Abstract

Abstract

Limited face-to-face learning is a learning policy implemented by schools to prevent coronavirus transmission during the pandemic. Amidstface-to-face learning has become limited, so that it requires students to study more independently from home. Teachers are also required to maximize class time and are also required to be skilled in providing learning outside of student learning hours in class. This study aims to determine (1) the influence of student learning independence on learning outcomes, (2) the influence of teachers' teaching skills on learning outcomes, and (3) the influence of student learning independence and teacher teaching skills during limited face-to-face learning on student learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. This research was conducted at SMK throughout Sleman Regency. Respondents were 26 schools with a total of 2209 students. The sample calculation used Slovin with 339 samples. Data collection using questionnaires and tests with the help of google forms. The data obtained were then analyzed with several techniques such as description analysis; normality, homogeneity, multicollinearity tests; and hypothesis tests consisting of simple regression tests and multiple regression tests. The study's results obtained 1.) Learning outcomes were positively and significantly influenced by student learning independence with a value of sig. 0.023 < 0.05; 2.) Learning outcomes are positively and significantly influenced by the teaching skills of teachers with sig grades. 0.000 < 0.05; and 3.) Learning outcomes are also positively and significantly influenced by student learning independence and teacher teaching skills with a value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the world's perception of Diploma 3 graduates regarding work skills. The research used a questionnaire survey method on Diploma 3 graduates who had worked for 2-5 years. Measurement of work aspects includes individual qualities, basic skills, interpersonal skills, thinking skills, resource management, systems and technology, and information skills. The instrument's validity in each aspect ranges from 0.416 to 0.683, with a reliability of 0.882. The research technique used simple random sampling with 109 respondents in this study. The results of the study stated that the self-perception of graduates are (1) an individual quality score of 85.5 with a very high interpretation; (2) basic skills get a score of 81.8 with a high interpretation; (3) an interpersonal score of 84.8 with a very high interpretation; (4) thinking skills get a score of 83.1 with a very high interpretation; (5) resource management obtained a score of 88.6 with a very high interpretation; (6) systems and technology got a score of 92.4 with a very high interpretation, and (7) information skills got a score of 85.1 with a very high interpretation. Thus, the average worldwide employment of Diploma 3 graduates is 85.9, with a high interpretation. This finding implies that the higher graduates' employability skills, the higher their self-perception at work.

Abstract

Abstract

Society 5.0 demands individuals who demonstrate integrated character, knowledge, and skills to navigate technology-driven environments. However, existing research rarely compares different estimation strategies in Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) when modeling competency structures. This study aims to identify stable competency indicators for the Society 5.0 era (C-5.0) using several CFA estimation approaches across ordinal and continuous data types. A quantitative survey was conducted with Indonesian TVET academics and practitioners, and data were analyzed using multiple statistical simulations. The model included 30 manifest indicators representing affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains. Findings reveal that only six indicators consistently remained robust across estimation techniques: curiosity, environmental care, and social care (character domain); creative thinking and innovative thinking (knowledge domain); and cooperative skills (skills domain). One indicator—critical thinking—did not satisfy goodness-of-fit criteria in any estimation scenario, suggesting that its contribution may be context-dependent within TVET environments. These findings highlight that not all theoretically important indicators operate similarly under different measurement conditions. Methodologically, the study emphasizes the importance of testing alternative CFA estimation strategies when competency frameworks involve mixed data types. Practically, the results provide policymakers and vocational institutions with empirically validated priorities for curriculum development, focusing on competencies that demonstrate measurement stability in real-world contexts. Future studies should examine longitudinal validation and cross-cultural replication to strengthen generalizability.
