Abstract

The purpose is to know the effect of partial and simultaneous leadership, motivation, and work discipline on employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. Riau Pos Pekanbaru which is located at Jalan H. Soebrantas Km 10,5 Pekanbaru Kecamatan Tampan, Riau. The sample in this study amounted to 107 people by using random sampling method. In this study using quantitative descriptive with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research that has been implemented, leadership has an influence on employee performance with the tcount (5.488)> ttable (1.983) and the resulting significance value of 0.000. Motivation also has an effect on employee performance with the value of tcount (3.320)> ttable (1.983) and the resulting significance value of 0.00. And work discipline has an effect on employee performance with the value of tcount (4.105)> ttable (1.983) and the resulting significance value of 0.000. Thus known F count (76.706)> F table (2.69) with Sig. (0,000) <0.05. This means that simultaneously or simultaneously leadership, motivation and work discipline have an influence on employee performance at PT Riau Pos Pekanbaru. R value of 0.831 or 83.1% means there is a relationship between leadership, motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Riau Pos Pekanbaru. R Square value of 0.691 or 69.1% leadership, motivation and work discipline can affect employee performance at PT Pekanbaru Pekan Pekanbaru while the remaining 30.9% is influenced by other variables that are not used in this study. kkeywords : Leadership, Motivation,Work Discipline, Employee Performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir Pekanbaru located on the street Sisingamaraja No. 65 Pekanbaru Riau in order to determine and analyze the influence of human relations and reward partially on the performance of employees at PT. Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir Pekanbaru. To know and analyze the influence of human relations and simultaneously reward the performance of employees at PT. Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir Pekanbaru. The study population was 43 employees of PT. Nugraha lane Ekakurir Pekanbaru. Research variables used are human relations and reward as the independent variable and the performance of employees as the dependent variable. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis aided by SPSS 20 for windows. The results of this study indicate that human relations and reward partially and simultaneously have a significant influence on the performance of employees of PT. Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir Pekanbaru. The dominant variable affecting the performance is a factor of human relations. Research that has been conducted in accordance with the regression test (t test) and (f test) shows independent variables studied are human relations and reward variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable employee performance. Recommendations to the authors propose is expected to PT. Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir Pekanbaru to be able to further enhance the variable human relations as establish effective communication, shared interests with the employees, a positive view of employees, establish a harmonious relationship with employees and provide tolerance among its members, because human relations greatly affect the performance by gaining average responses agreed.Keywords: Human Relations, Reward and Performance

Abstract

This research aims to find the influence of leadership and organisational comitment on simultaniuos and partially to employee performance in Koperasi Karyawan Minyak Caltex di Rumbai Pekanbaru. The samples are top manager, middle manager and staff amount of 45 people. Analysis was performed using the multiple regresion analysis on Koperasi Karyawan Minyak Caltex di Rumbai Pekanbaru. The result of this research are; there are significant influence of leadership and organisational comitment on simultaniuos to employee performance with p value 0.013 < 0.05, there are no significant influence of leadership partially to employee performance with p value 0.350> 0.05 and there are significant influence of organisational comitment on partially to employee performance with p value 0.006 < 0.05. Adjusted R Square is 0.148 or 14.8%, employee performance are explained by leadership and organisational comitment and the are percentage the rest by another factors.Keywords : leadership style and organisational commitment and employee performance

Abstract

This research held in PT. Studian Tata Dinamika Pekanbaru. This research held in order to analyze the influence of organizational climate and workload to employees’ work morale. Population are all employees, consist of 44 people which was using cencus sampling model. Variables used are organizational climate and workload as independent and work morale as dependent. Data analyzed by using descriptive and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 19 for windows. Result of this study shows that both organizational climate and workload significantly influence simultenously to employees’ work morale. Partially, organizational climate positively and significantly effect to work morale. While, workload negatively but not significantly effect to employees’ work morale. It is recommended to company to enhance the organizational climate conducievity by providing awardness program and definite a clear and measureable achievement parameter to all employees. Workload analysis need to be done proportionally and recreational activities also need to be held to decline the negative side effect of workload to employees.Keywords: Organizational Climate, Workload and Work Morale

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor - faktor yang medorong mahasiswa memilih seorang dosen untuk suatu matakuliah pada jurusan Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini manggunakan kajian kuntitatif deskriptif , populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa Jurusan Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Riau yang berda pada semester lima ke atas. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitia ini sebanyak 140 mahasiswa, Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama yang mendorong mahasiswa dalam memilih dosen untuk suatu mata kuliah adalah cara mengajar dosen yang tidak membosankan merupakan factor yang banyak dipilih mahasiswa, selanjutnya urutan kedua adalah nilai yang diberikan dosen juga menjadi incaran bagi mahasiswa dalam memilih dosen, dan Sikap dosen yang menyenangkan mencerminkan rasa senang mahasiswa terhadap dosen.

Abstract

The research analysed the public servants’ work performance in Riau Province, withspecial emphasis on the influence of opportunity and work performance.Subsequently, the study analysed the influence of opportunity on wokers’ motivationand their work performance. There are some 7,176 public servants in both provincesand the purpose of this research a sample of 500 respondents were selectedrandomly. Structural Equation Model we used to examine the relationship betweenthe relevant factors, namely opportunity, motivation and work performance. Theresults also showed that the opportunity has a strong influence towards motivationfor the whole sample of Riau Province. It is interesting to note that the opportunityhas no strong influence on the work performance in both, the old and new provincewhich is due to the subjective career development characteristics. This phenomenonis contradicting with the organizational behaviour theory that emphasizes that goodindividual behaviour is essential to enhance work performance. Finally, the resultsalso found that there is a strong influence of the motivation variable towards workperformance for the whole sample of Riau as well as for the new province.Interestingly, the study showed that in the old province there was no influence of themotivation variable towards work performance since the relationship between thesetwo variables is insignificant. This is attributed to the fact that staff that performedwell were not rewarded or appreciated. However, the weak influence of opportunityvariable on the work performance in the old as well as new provinces of Riau provedthat Robbins theory is not relevant in this case. The empirical findings can be usedas guidelines for the Riau Government towards shaping and improving the existingpolicies and programs aimed at enhancing the public servants’ work performance inthe future, particularly with regards to the personality factors which should receivedserious attention among administrators of the Riau Province.

Abstract

The research analyzed the public servants' work performance in Riau Province, Indonesia, with special emphasis on the influence of ability towards opportunity, motivation and work performance. Subsequently, the study analysed the influence of opportunity on wokers' motivation and their work performance and also the influence of motivation towards work performance. The study was conducted in the Riau Province among 500 randomly selected respondents. Data was analyzes using Structural Equation Modelling. The results showed that there was a strong influence between ability towards opportunity, motivation and work performance for the whole sample of Riau Province. Oportunity has a strong influence towards motivation for the whole sample of Riau Province. However, opportunity has no strong influence on the work performance in the Riau Province. There was no influence of the motivation variable towards work performance since the relationship between these two variables is insignificant. This is attributed to the fact that staff that performed well were not rewarded or appreciated. The theoretical contribution of this study is that the ability factor has strong influence towards opportunity, motivation and work performance which supports most of the earlier studies.The empirical findings can be used as guidelines for the Riau Government towards shaping and improving the existing policies and programs aimed at enhancing the public servants' work performance in the future.Keywords: Ability, Opportunity, Motivation, Work performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service. The research was conducted at the Department of Environment and Hygiene of Pekanbaru City.The data used consists of primary data and secondary data. Data were collected using a questionnaire given to employees. The population in this study were employees of DLHK Pekanbaru City, totaling 105 employees and with a sample of 105 employees. Abstract

Job satisfaction is an employee's assessment, feeling, or attitude towards his workand related to the work environment is entirely a number of wants and needsthrough some work or work desires. The purpose of this study was to determinethe effect of workload, work stress and leadership on nurse job satisfaction duringthe COVID-19 pandemic at RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. This type ofresearch is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study amounted to 76people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysismethod uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of theSPSS version 21 software application. The results of this study indicate that: 1)Workload has a negative and significant effect on nurse job satisfaction, 2) Jobstress has a negative and significant effect on nurse job satisfaction, 3)Leadership has a positive and significant effect on nurse job satisfaction, 4)Workload Work, Job Stress and Leadership have a significant and significanteffect on the job satisfaction of nurses in RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. Keywords: Job Satisfaction;Workload; Work Stress; Leadership

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and organizational culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with job satisfaction as an intervening variable among employees at PT. Agung Automall SM Amin. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to the employees. Data analysis was performed using path analysis and the Sobel test to examine mediation. The results indicate that leadership has a positive but insignificant effect on OCB, with a significance value of 0.757 (>0.05), while organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on OCB, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on OCB, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The influence of leadership on job satisfaction was found to be insignificant, with a significance value of 0.709 (>0.05), while organizational culture positively and significantly affects job satisfaction, with a significance value of 0.023 (<0.05). According to the Sobel test, job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of leadership on OCB, with a probability value of 0.347 (>0.05), but it successfully mediates the effect of organizational culture on OCB, with a probability value of 0.031 (<0.05).
