Abstract

Attendance is a data collection activity to determine the number of people present at an event. Every activity always requires information about participant attendance. This also happens in the learning process. The benefit of attendance using an Arduino based RFID scanner is that it makes it easier for attendance officers to input practical data because they can retrieve and store attendance data from RFID tags directly. Research on the development of attendance to become more effective in the education sector. Every activity that requires information about participant attendance will definitely utilize the use of tools that are used as proof of participant attendance, while teacher attendance currently used is using fingerprints. When absent, problems often occur, namely the finger that will be used to do the fingerprinting. Based on the background above, the author created automatic attendance to make attendance easier while at the agency where the teacher teaches. Meanwhile, the barcode scanner is a faster data input process compared to the manual method. This input process can be done with a scanner to record the data contained in the barcode quickly, so it doesn't need to take a lot of time.

Abstract

Dragon skin is a waste that is rarely used and often discarded. The dragonfruit skin has antioxidant activity related to the anthocyanin content that protects the skin from oxidation damage to prevent premature aging. This study introduces a new approach to utilizing super red dragon fruit skin waste often thrown away, by formulating it into a hydrogel preparation with potential as a cosmetic product. An experimentally used method with a true-experimental design. There are 7 formulas, F1 (base), F2, F3, and F4 (with ultrasonic extract 1%, 2%, 3.). The evaluations included organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, viscosity testing, pH tests, swelling ratio, freeze and thaw. The results of this study show that super red dragonfruit leather extracts can be formed in hydrogel preparations and have good physical quality properties.

Abstract

Dampak media sosial yang kini telah menjadi alat penting dalam strategi pemasaran dan komunikasi bagi berbagai organisasi, termasuk institusi pendidikan. pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Ngeskrip, sebagai digital creator yang dikelola kampus Universitas Kristen Petra (PCU) di jurusan baru di lingkungan PCU yang disebut Petra Business School; di mana lewat dana Pengabdian Masyarakat yang diperoleh, diharapkan Ngeskrip mampu dikembangkan dan diberdayakan. Evaluasi aktivitas Ngeskrip dilakukan dengan menilai engagement dan menakar efektivitas strategi sosial media dalam membangun brand PBS. Evaluasi kegiatan ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data engagement dari postingan media sosial PBS yang dikelola oleh Ngeskrip. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa postingan yang dibuat oleh Ngeskrip memiliki engagement yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan postingan yang bukan dibuat oleh Ngeskrip. Namun, penggunaan Instagram Ads dan kolaborasi dengan influencer terbukti meningkatkan engagement secara signifikan. Strategi sosial media yang diterapkan oleh Ngeskrip meningkatkan engagement di PBS, terutama melalui penggunaan iklan berbayar dan kolaborasi dengan influencer. Abstract

Pendampingan masyarakat di Desa Purwasari Kecamatan Cicurug Kabupaten Sukabumi melalui program pendampingan pendidikan berbasis masjid merupakan layanan sosial untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kesehatan. Majelis PPTQ Nurul Quran yang berlokasi di Desa Purwasari tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah namun telah difungsikan sebagai pusat kegiatan kemasyarakatan dan program Pendidikan bagi warga sekitar mengingat mayoritas mereka komunitas muslim. Bentuk-bentuk program pendampingan antara lain: (1) Kegiatan sholat berjamaah, (2) Majlis Taklim, (3) Pengelolaan Keuangan Masjid, (4) Layanan Pengurusan Jenazah, (5) Pengelolaan Zakat, dan lainnya. Dengan demikian, keberadaan PPTQ Nurul Quran berfungsi sebagai sentral dan merupakan pusat aspirasi kaum muslimin. PPTQ Nurul Quran yang berlokasi di Kampung Pojok Nangka II RT.03 RW 8 Desa Purwasari Kecamatan Cicurug Kabupaten Sukabumi. melalui peran Tokoh Masyarakat dan Pengurus Pondok telah mampu menanamkan Pendidikan Islam yang kuat bagi warga semua usia dan mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kesehatan masyarakat sekitarnya. Pendampingan masyarakat di Desa Purwasari melalui program pendampingan pendidikan berbasis masjid di era new normal telah melahirkan perubahan wawasan dan perubahan sikap positif pada penerima manfaatnya dan berimbas pada peningkatan kesejahteraan dan kesehatan warga desa Purwasari.

Abstract

This study focuses on the comparative energy efficiency analysis of LED, CFL, and incandescent bulbs to assess the potential savings offered by LED technology. With growing global concerns about energy consumption and carbon reduction, it is essential to eval_uate lighting options based on energy efficiency. Incandescent bulbs, though widely used, are inefficient as they emit more energy as heat than light. Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) are more energy-efficient but have a shorter lifespan compared to LEDs, making them less environmentally friendly. In this research, the real-time power consumption of each bulb type is measured using ACS712 and ZMPT101B sensors, connected to an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller. The ACS712 sensor is used to monitor electrical current, while the ZMPT101B sensor detects voltage, enabling accurate energy consumption calculations. All bulbs are tested under identical conditions, providing clear, comparative data on their energy efficiencies. The analysis demonstrates that LED bulbs not only offer lower energy consumption but also result in long-term environmental and economic benefits. These findings suggest significant savings in electricity costs, supporting the shift towards energy-efficient LED lighting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesehatan PT Bank BTPN Syariah periode 2019–2024 dengan metode RGEC, yang mencakup Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Earnings, dan Capital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik dokumentasi dan studi pustaka berdasarkan laporan tahunan bank. PT Bank BTPN Syariah dipilih karena konsisten masuk dalam indeks JII70 dan transparan dalam laporan keuangannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai komposit sebesar 91,42% atau predikat “Sangat Sehat” dengan Peringkat Komposit 1 selama enam tahun berturut-turut. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada cakupan periode analisis yang lebih panjang, fokus pada bank syariah yang terdaftar di indeks saham syariah terlikuid, serta analisis menyeluruh terhadap seluruh komponen RGEC. Selain itu, penelitian ini menilai kinerja bank dalam konteks krisis dan pemulihan pascapandemi COVID-19, sehingga memberikan kontribusi empiris terkini dalam evaluasi objektif terhadap kesehatan bank syariah.

Abstract

Background: Cancer pain is one of the most challenging symptoms for patients, often leading to a significant decline in their quality of life. Despite advances in pain management, many cancer patients still experience insufficient pain relief. Nurses, who are on the front lines of patient care, play a vital role in managing this pain by using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. However, the effectiveness of these combined interventions is not well understood. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore how nurses manage cancer pain and assess the impact of combining pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments on pain levels and quality of life for cancer patients. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at Columbia Asia Hospital Semarang over a 12-month period, from January 2024 to December 2024. We enrolled 420 participants—210 cancer patients and 210 registered nurses. Pain was assessed using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), and quality of life was measured using the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI). We used descriptive statistics, t-tests, and multivariate regression to analyze how different nursing interventions influenced patient outcomes. Results: Patients receiving a combination of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions reported significantly lower pain intensity (mean = 5.3, SD = 1.8) and better quality of life scores (mean = 68.4, SD = 12.3) than those who only received pharmacological treatments. Our regression analysis revealed that opioids were effective in reducing pain, while combining them with non-pharmacological interventions like cognitive-behavioral therapy improved patients' overall well-being. Conclusion: This study highlights the effectiveness of integrating pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management strategies, improving both pain relief and quality of life for cancer patients. Nurses play a crucial role in these interventions, and further research should examine the long-term benefits and the potential use of digital tools in pain management.

Abstract

The application of grass chopper technology in the livestock sector plays an important role in increasing the efficiency of feed provision, particularly for goat farms. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of grass chopper machines in accelerating the availability of feed and its impact on the productivity of goat farms. The methods used included observation and direct interviews with farmers who applied this technology. The results of the study showed that the grass chopper machine was able to shorten feed preparation time by up to 50% so that farmers could provide sufficient and quality feed in a shorter time. The machine capacity is 200 kg/h, with an average chopped size of approximately 3-4 cm. Consistent chopping can increase feed digestibility, which contributes to increased body weight and livestock health.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah perilaku belanja masyarakat dari konvensional menjadi berbasis digital. Tokopedia, sebagai salah satu marketplace terbesar di Indonesia, menjadi platform yang banyak digunakan masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan secara praktis. Namun, masih ditemukan keluhan terkait kualitas produk dan persepsi harga yang memengaruhi kepuasan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan persepsi harga terhadap kepuasan konsumen pengguna Tokopedia di Kampung Melayu, Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling sebanyak 100 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, sedangkan persepsi harga juga memiliki pengaruh positif namun dengan tingkat signifikansi yang berbeda. Secara simultan, kedua variabel independen memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kualitas produk dan penetapan harga yang sesuai persepsi konsumen dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pengguna Tokopedia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a computerized employee payroll information system where the employee payroll information system of PT. Gemah Makmur Sejahtera still uses a manual system. The preparation of reports that still use Microsoft Excel worksheets also takes a long time, besides that the manual preparation is also vulnerable to user negligence in recording it. In this study, to minimize negligence in recording, the author will apply the accrual basis recording method, where the recording of salary expenses is carried out when a transaction occurs. This research was arranged by research and development method. The Employee Payroll Information System at PT Gemah Makmur Sejahtera is an employee payroll information system designed using a research and development methodology with UML (Unified Modeling Language) tools, direct observations and interviews with related parties. which can make it easier for the salary calculation stage, automatic report preparation, and automatic salary slips, resulting in more effective and efficient information.
