Information Technology (IT) governance is used as a structure and control in alignment of IT functions and business goals. One of ABC University’s business goal is to achieve World Class University in 2021. This paper presents a study in one of IT governance’s component, likely structure of IT decisions right or archetype. It is needed to evaluate right applied archetype to achieve the alignment of business goals on five keys of IT decisions, namely IT principles, IT architecture, IT infrastructure, business application needs, and IT investment. COBIT 4.1 and the research of Weill and Ross (CISR) were used as the framework. The study was conducted by collecting data through observation, questionnaires, and interviews, as well as data analysis based on the existing conditions, and respondents’ perception.The analysis shows that there are still weaknesses in the existing IT governance conditions and archetype, so as it’s advisable the appropriate improvement recommendations.

Generally, vehicle service is a must for the vehicle owner. However, due to tight work routines, people often forget to service their vehicles. In addition, the service process is still using a manual system, such as taking a queue number which leads to the long queue of the service time. An Android-based Motorcycle Repair Shop Information System provides a solution to remind people to do a regular service on their vehicles with a reminder feature and make online bookings.  The system development uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method. The implementation process requires an Android smartphone and a computer device by using MySQL as data storage, Firebase as a notification sender, React native and Visual Studio Code are used for developing the system. The results of the UAT test (user acceptance testing) from 20 users show 55,8% answered agree to the display, features and flow of the system, 39,5% answered strongly agree to the three question parameters, and 4,7% answered disagree with the flow and display of the system.

Mobile applications that have data transactions between users require a database relational database management system (RDBMS) and RESTful API operating on the hosting service so that all users can access the data. Renting a hosting service is not cheap and creating a RESTful API takes plenty of time. As an alternative to hosting, a free version of the Cloud Firestore service gives full access rights to the database and has an application programming interface (API) to manage data or access data. However, the free version of Cloud Firestore has limitations in terms of storage capacity, read, write, and delete processes. Therefore, redesigning process of the database was carried out into a low-cost version of the database model consisting of SQLite database and a low-cost version of the NoSQL database to overcome this problem. The goal is to reduce storage space usage and read, write, and delete processing on Cloud Firestore. The low-cost version of the database was tested with 6,030 data. The results obtained were savings of 47.27% storage usage, 83.08% write usage, 91.26% read process usage, and 83.19% delete process usage compared to the test results of the relational database model.

Mental health is one of the health problems that many people experience. Consultation or therapy is an alternative that can be done when mental conditions are bad. Based on interviews that have been conducted with several users in conducting consultations, there are several obstacles in conducting direct consultations with psychologists. The obstacles experienced consisted of several things such as PPKM regulations, personal anxiety to have direct contact with other people, the difficulty of arranging schedules for two parties, administrative matters and many more. This is certainly not effective in terms of time, cost and effort. The difficulties experienced by the user stimulate an innovation in creating a Website-Based Information System for the ShaingKu Startup. The purpose of this development is to design an information system that makes it easier for various groups, especially patient users, to be able to conduct online consultations more easily and effectively both in time, cost and effort. The final result of this research is a system that can be implemented and has passed the trial process that has been successful. The test consists of the functionality of a patient user who has successfully placed an order, a psychologist user who has successfully managed patient data, an admin user who has successfully managed psychologist data and a super admin user who has successfully registered psychologist and admin accounts.

In this study, a new method was developed to detect student involvement in the online learning process. This method is based on convolutional neural network (CNN) as a classifier with an emphasis on the preprocessing process combined with a new feature in the form of signal magnitude area (SMA) thresholding. In this study, the data used as training data is a public dataset that emphasizes the decomposition of electroencephalography (EEG) signals into individual signal processing. Twenty subjects were taken to be used as test data, with each subject watching online learning lectures in the field of computer science on three different devices, either with a flat screen, a curved screen or a smartphone screen that is smaller than two standard computer monitors. Based on the study's results, it is known that the change in screen size is inversely proportional to the level of student attention, the smaller the screen, the lower the student's attention. For classification results, the model equipped with SMA thresholding outperformed the standard classifier by 8.33% with a test set of 20 people.

An intrusion detection system (IDS) is a security technology designed to identify and monitor suspicious activity in a computer network or system and detect potential attacks or security breaches. The importance of accuracy in IDS must be addressed, given that the response to any alert or activity generated by the system must be precise and measurable. However, achieving high accuracy in IDS requires a process that takes work. The complex network environment and the diversity of attacks led to significant challenges in developing IDS. The application of algorithms and optimization techniques needs to be considered to improve the accuracy of IDS. Support vector machine (SVM) is one data mining method with a high accuracy level in classifying network data packet patterns. A feature selection stage is needed for an optimal classification process, which can also be applied to SVM. Feature selection is an essential step in the data preprocessing phase; optimization of data input can improve the performance of the SVM algorithm, so this study compares the performance between feature selection algorithms, namely Information Gain Ratio and Chi-Square, and then classifies IDS data using the SVM algorithm. This outcome implies the importance of selecting the right features to develop an effective IDS.

Teknologi chatbot sudah mulai diterapkan pada berbagai sektor, termasuk sektor hotel. Kehadiran chatbot sangat membantu dalam ketepatan dan ketepatan penyampaian informasi. Namun, chatbot yang diterapkan pada sektor ini fiturnya kurang lengkap dan balasannya hanya dalam bentuk teks. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya chatbot hotel yang mampu memberikan informasi dalam bentuk media lain yang lebih informatif. Chatbot hotel yang dirancang pada penelitian ini menggunakan tools Dialogflow, dan disematkan pada aplikasi Messenger. Chatbot hotel memiliki fitur informasi, navigasi, telepon, galley slide, card, dan telepon. Button-Based Chatbot dan Natural Language Processing Chatbot adalah dua model yang digunakan pada chatbot, sehingga chatbot dapat menerima dua jenis input. Metode Black-Box testing digunakan pada pengujian ketepatan respon chatbot, dan berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut, chatbot mampu merespon semua input dari pengguna dengan benar. Chatbot mampu memberikan jawaban tepat meskipun terdapat typo karena adanya penerapan Natural Language Processing.

Transaksi-transaksi bisnis semakin banyak dilakukan secara online, namun seiring perusahaan semakin maju, muncul masalah-masalah seperti ketidakmampuan dalam mengelola konsistensi data, khususnya ketika data tersebut berhubungan dengan lebih dari satu database. Sinkronisasi data adalah salah satu cara yang sering digunakan untuk penyelarasan data, dan replikasi merupakan metode yang paling banyak digunakan. Namun, agar data sepenuhnya konsisten, tidak cukup hanya dengan memanfaatkan proses replikasi. Permasalahan yang sering ditemui pada proses konfigurasi yang rumit. Pendekatan Audit Log merupakan salah satu objek alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan sinkronisasi satu arah pada database. Audit Log adalah sebuah metode pencantatan perubahan yang ada pada database dengan menggunakan trigger. Data perubahan database tersebut yang nantinya menjadi acuan dalam sinkronisasi ke database lainnya. Pengiriman perubahan data pada database ke database yang lain memanfaatkan Apache Kafka. Apache merupakan open-source message broker yang memiliki perfoma tinggi sehingga dapat mengirim data secara realtime.

Abstrak Pemerintah Indonesia sedang mengembangkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk memberikan pelayanan publik kepada masyarakat, salah satunya dengan mengeluarkan pedoman Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE). Pemerintah Daerah di salah satu kabupaten telah menyikapi tata kepemerintahan yang baik untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang dibangun dengan dasar komunikasi yang baik antara pemerintah dan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi SPBE pada tahun 2019, salah satu kabupaten di Indonesia telah mencapai skor indeks SPBE yaitu 2.88 dengan predikat “Baik”. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis aspek yang memiliki kontribusi paling rendah pada evaluasi SPBE untuk salah satu kabupaten di Indonesia. Aspek Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi memiliki tiga indikator untuk dijadikan penilaian. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menghasilkan saran dan rekomendasi pada ketiga indikator untuk dijadikan pertimbangan perbaikan pelaksanaan SPBE di Pemerintah Daerah pada sebuah kabupaten Indonesia. Abstract The Indonesian government is developing information and communication technology to provide public services to the community. Which one of them is issuing guidelines for the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). The Regional Government in one of the districts has addressed good governance to improve the welfare of the community which was built based on good communication between the government and the community. Based on the results of the SPBE evaluation in 2019, one of the districts in Indonesia has achieved an SPBE index score of 2.88 with "Good" predicate. This research was conducted to analyze the aspects that have the lowest contribution to the evaluation of SPBE for one of the districts in Indonesia. Aspects of Information and Communication Technology Governance has three indicators that are used as an assessment. The evaluation carried out the results in suggestions and recommendations on the three indicators to be considered for improving the implementation of SPBE in the local government of an Indonesian district.

Perkembangan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pengolahan informasi memberikan dampak besar dalam memudahkan manusia untuk menemukan suatu data yang spesifik dalam kumpulan data yang besar. Algoritma pencarian informasi dalam bentuk teks dapat memanfaatkan metode pengukuran kemiripan teks untuk membandingkan suatu teks atau informasi yang dicari dengan teks lain dalam kumpulan data yang besar. Penelitian ini melakukan pengukuran nilai kemiripan kumpulan kata dengan kumpulan kata lain menggunakan modul yang tersedia pada basis data PostgreSQL. Algoritma pengukuran kemiripan teks menggunakan extension modul pg-trgm yang berbasis n-gram pada PostgreSQL. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan dua teks berbeda dengan menggunakan function yang terdapat pada modul pg-trgm. Hasil pengujian menggunakan sepuluh skenario pengujian diperoleh sebanyak lima hasil pengukuran dengan nilai kemiripan yang sama antara function similarity dengan word similarity. Perhitungan dengan algoritma function word similarity menghasilkan lima hasil pengukuran yang lebih baik.
