Abstract

Relawan Muda Riau were formed to answer how social service organizations run in accordance with their corridors, so far young Riau volunteers have focused on helping the Riau provincial government overcome social welfare problems, especially in the areas of economic empowerment and assistance programs for schools in remote Riau. In carrying out this program Riau Young Volunteers often have difficulties, especially in managing internal and external factors. External factors consist of four main factors, namely economic, sociological, political/professional and technological factors. Whereas internal factors consist of organizational goals, mission and philosophy, organizational planning, organizational operations, human resources, technological resources and funding sources.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the Montessori education model in the formation of early childhood independence at the PAUD Kalyca Montessori School. This research method uses a naturalistic qualitative method approach. The research subjects consisted of foundations, principals, teachers, students, and parents of students. The object of research is the formation of independence with Montessori education. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes describing and performing data in case of studies with the stages of recording, initial grouping, different grouping themes, description of case analysis. Based on these methods, a description of the formation of the independence of early childhood in the Kalyca Montessori School is generated. Thus, the Montessori education model is one of the methods that shapes early childhood independence. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pendidikan Montessori dalam pembentukan kemandirian anak usia dini di PAUD Kalyca Montessori School. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif naturalistik. Subyek penelitian terdiri atas yayasan, kepala sekolah, guru, siswa dan orang tua siswa. Objek penelitian adalah pembentukan kemandirian dengan pendidikan Montessori.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara yang mendalam, observasi partisipasif dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi mendeskripsikan dan mengin-terprestasikan data dalam studi kasus dengan tahapan pencatatan, pengelompokan awal, pengelompokan tema yang berbeda, deskripsi analisis kasus. Berdasarkan metode tersebut maka dihasilkan pendeskripsian pembentukan kemandirian anak usia dini di PAUD Kalyca Montessori School. Dengan demikian, model pendidikan Montessori merupakan salah satu metode yang  membentuk kemandirian anak usia dini.

Abstract

This socialization explains how public awareness is about waste in the surrounding environment and how to sort waste. KKN students provide facilities for the Teniga Village community regarding waste with the Environmental Service as the resource person with the aim of increasing public awareness regarding waste sorting which will later be sold to improve the community's economy. Students conducted a location survey to find out the waste problem in Teniga Village.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain an overview and analysis of role of stakeholders in empowering millennial farmers through Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village. This includes roles of government, local organizations and communities, academics, companies, and media. The study employs a qualitative approach involving 39 stakeholders as informants. For data collection, the researcher utilized observation, literature studies, documentation studies, and interviews. Results indicate that all stakeholders have actively contributed to success of Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village. However, the involvement of media was not found, which is a concern for optimizing the program's success. Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village also aligns closely with the conceptual framework used by the researcher. Nevertheless, there are still aspects of each stakeholder that need improvement. Therefore, parties such as head of Sukarame Village, head of Jamburaya Hamlet, all hamlets, and all neighborhoods in Ciburial Village, as well as millennial farmers, need to collaborate and build external relationships with outside parties, such as academics and companies, to sustain and enhance the success of Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village. This collaboration will help millennial farmers achieve a better quality of life. The researcher also recommends involving the media to strengthen documentation and evaluation of the program and to build a broad network that supports the rights of millennial farmers and promotes positive social change in the community.

Abstract

Analysis of the maintenance of water equipment facilities and infrastructure at the Palembang SAR Office is an important effort in ensuring operational continuity and optimal availability of facilities. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of existing maintenance strategies and provide recommendations for improvement.The research method involves field surveys to identify the physical condition of water equipment, such as water pumps, storage tanks, and distribution lines. Data was also collected through interviews with technical and managerial staff to understand ongoing maintenance practices. The analysis results show that although maintenance efforts have been carried out, there are still several areas that need further attention. Factors such as lack of structured maintenance planning, lack of use of equipment condition monitoring technology, and lack of human and financial resources are the main obstacles.Recommendations are provided to increase maintenance effectiveness, including the development of a more detailed preventive maintenance schedule, the implementation of a sensor-based equipment condition monitoring system, and increased training and development of human resources. By implementing these recommendations, it is hoped that maintenance performance can be improved and ensure the availability of reliable water facilities at the Palembang SAR Office.

Abstract

Peranan sektor pertanian dalam menunjang ekonomi nasional sangat penting dan sentral. Masyarakat Jampang Kulon mempunyai lahan yang luas, tetapi masih kurang baik dalam pengelolaannya sehingga memerlukan kontribusi langsung dari pemerintah. Maka Dinas pertanian Jampang Kulon menjadi lembaga perantara antara pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam sektor pertanian dengan membentuk Kelompok tani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui norma, konsep, dan hasil Dinas Pertanian Jampang Kulon dalam memberdayakan Kelompok Tani. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian Dinas Pertanian Jampang Kulon berperan dalam memberdayakan kelompok tani sehingga sektor pertanian menjadi lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Norma Dinas Pertanian dalam memberdayakan masyarakat yaitu melalui pelatihan pertanian kepada kelompok tani dengan materi pengolahan tanaman palawija dan jagung. Konsep memberdayakan kelompok tani melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Hasil dari program ini yaitu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat di sektor pertanian, dan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengelolaan pertanian.

Abstract

Pine resin tapping activities carried out by the farming community in Srigading Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency, East Java have been carried out for generations, so they do not pay much attention to aspects of Occupational Safety and Health (K3). Pine resin tappers usually do not use personal protective equipment when working. If work practices like this are pursued continuously and for generations, there will be an increase in the number of deaths and accidents due to work at the pine plantation site. So it is necessary to do socialization and training. This activity aims to provide training and counseling on hazards, risks and ways to prevent occupational diseases and accidents in pine plantations. So that pine resin tappers can carry out pine resin tapping activities safely and healthily and avoid the risk of occupational diseases and accidents. This activity succeeded in increasing the level of knowledge of farmers about the dangers and risks of working in pine plantations and how to prevent them. The farmers who attended practiced directly how to use personal protective equipment, so that farmers' understanding increased. The evaluation results show that the increase in knowledge of pine tappers in the form of socialization and training on the principles of implementing Occupational Safety and Health by 51%

Abstract

Leachate from landfill sites contains heavy metals such as chromium (Cr), which are toxic and carcinogenic, requiring effective management to prevent environmental contamination. This study aimed to optimize the reduction of Cr levels in leachate using a combination of biofilter and phytoremediation based on aquatic bamboo plants. The research was conducted at the Laboratory and Greenhouse of Institut Pertanian Malang using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatments (biofilter only and biofilter combined with phytoremediation) and five replications. The biofilter utilized natural media including gravel, silica sand, coconut shell charcoal, and compost, while phytoremediation employed aquatic bamboo (Equisetum hyemale). Results showed that Cr levels decreased from 3.89 mg/L to 2.20 mg/L with biofilter treatment alone, and further decreased to 1.08 mg/L when using the combined biofilter-phytoremediation treatment, with removal efficiencies of 43.4% and 72.8%, respectively. The most significant reduction occurred during the initial weeks, followed by a gradual decline towards the end of the observation period. The combination of biofilter and phytoremediation with aquatic bamboo proved effective and environmentally friendly in reducing Cr levels in leachate, indicating its potential for broader application in leachate management at landfill sites

Abstract

Masalah kemiskinan merupakan masalah yang sangat kompleks, dalam inisiatif pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan salah satu strategi untuk mengatasi kemiskinan YBM PLN UID Jabar merupakan lembaga amil zakat di berbagai wilayah yang kemudian memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam melaksanakan proses pemberdayaan ekonomi kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui program , implementasi program dan mengetahui hasil dari program serta peran yang diperoleh YBM PLN UID Jabar dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Landasan pemikiran penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori peran, pemberdayaan, ekonomi masyarakat. Kemudian  menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya YBM PLN berperan sebagai agen perubahan dan pemimpin atau mentor dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat.
