Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the process of teaching Arabic using moving picture media and the level of vocabulary mastery in junior High School. This research method was quantitative with an experimental approach. The research was conducted at Islamic Junior High School 2 Jember, involving 30 students of grade VIII as the sample. The data collection method used a test. The test method was aimed at students to get vocabulary mastery data. The data analysis technique used the T-test to determine the level of vocabulary mastery after using moving picture media. The results showed that the learning process by using moving picture media had been able to increase students' learning activities and enthusiasm. The spirit of learning characterized by a high concentration during the learning process, encouraging students to understand the lesson easily. The high of learning concentration caused by the characteristics of the moving picture media varied and corresponded with students' progress. The success of using moving picture media was supported by the teacher's ability to use media. The results of statistical analysis showed that the application of moving picture media in learning Arabic had a significant effect on students' vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

The reality of modernity, which has given rise to various complexities that are sometimes detrimental to humanity, has revived local religions which indeed have their own cosmology, which is seen as saving the world. The main focus of the research is cosmology within the teachings of Agama Sunda Djawa, exploring sources of ethics, views on the afterlife, and environmental ethics. The Seren Taun ceremony, as part of local cultural wisdom, becomes the center of attention in understanding the meaning of rituals and the symbolic significance of the Paseban building. This research utilizes a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving informants such as followers of Madraism, Agama Djawa Sunda (ADS; the Sundanese Javanese Religion), Paguyuban Adat Cara Karuhun Urang, and Adat Karuhun Urang. The results provide a deep understanding of the administrative and discriminatory challenges faced by Sunda Wiwitan followers and their efforts to maintain their existence and beliefs. This research also reveals the relationship between traditional arts, especially Gemyung art, with the expression of Sundanese cosmology. Overall, this research contributes to the understanding of religion and spirituality in Indonesia while also highlighting social, political, and administrative issues faced by certain religious groups.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low creative thinking skills of students in applying the grammatical rules of Maf’ul Muthlaq in writing and speaking in Arabic and their low cognitive skills in understanding Maf’ul Muthlaq learning materials. These deficiencies result from the application of grammar teaching strategies limited to giving lectures, explanations, presentations, and examples. None of them allows students to think creatively, which leads to high cognitive skills. This fact is based on the experience of the researchers in teaching Arabic grammar and writing skills courses. This study aims to apply the poem-writing strategy using Canva in the Tathbiq Nahwi Tsanawi course and assess its effectiveness in increasing students' creative thinking skills in using Maf’ul Muthlaq. This study utilizes an experimental method with the one-shot case study design to assess the effectiveness of this strategy in improving the students' creative thinking skills. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the poem-writing strategy using Canva can improve the students' creative thinking skills in learning Maf’ul Muthlaq to a high level.

Abstract

This research addresses the apparent deficiency in Arabic vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students at MTsN 7 Blitar, as revealed through the researchers' observations. The identified challenges stem from the limited strategies and media implemented in the teaching process. This study proposes incorporating the uno stacko game as an innovative solution to enhance Arabic vocabulary acquisition. The primary objectives of this research are to assess the impact of the uno stacko game on Arabic vocabulary mastery and to explore students' perceptions regarding the game. The research design adopts a quantitative pre-experimental approach, employing a one-group pretest-posttest design to evaluate the effectiveness of the uno stacko game. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The collected data exhibit normal distribution, indicating the suitability of the data for statistical analysis. The analysis reveals a significant difference in the average scores between the pretest and posttest, with a notable increase of 0.55. This change falls within the moderate category, signifying a positive influence of the uno stacko game on Arabic vocabulary acquisition. The percentage change of 56.53% further supports this conclusion, indicating a substantial impact, and the study delves into students' perceptions of the uno stacko game. The average percentage of student perceptions is 99.1667%, reflecting an overwhelmingly positive response. This high percentage categorizes student perceptions as very good, suggesting a favorable view of the uno stacko game as an effective and engaging tool for learning Arabic vocabulary. The findings of this research highlight the positive influence of the uno stacko game on enhancing Arabic vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students. Additionally, the overwhelmingly positive student perceptions emphasize the game's potential as a valuable educational resource. Recommendations for further research could involve more in-depth analysis of specific aspects of using the uno stacko game, exploring variations in learning strategies, and evaluating the long-term impact on Arabic vocabulary acquisition.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how the Djawa Sunda Religion (Agama Djawa Sunda-ADS) contributes to the preservation of cultural identity and religious practices in the Cigugur community, Kuningan, amidst modernisation and globalisation. Using a qualitative and ethnographic approach, the study focused on documenting the evolution and continued relevance of ADS cosmology through rituals and ceremonies such as Seren Taun. Data collection was conducted through interviews with religious leaders and community members, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that ADS plays a significant role in maintaining social cohesion and cultural continuity through its cosmological teachings and community rituals despite external pressures of cultural assimilation. The study also highlights the role of ADS in fostering religious pluralism and tolerance in a diverse religious community. The application of this research provides insights for scholars and policymakers interested in cultural preservation and religious pluralism in indigenous communities. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive analysis of ADS within the framework of Sundanese cosmology, contributing new perspectives on the intersection of religion, culture, and modernisation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menguji efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing terhadap peningkatan interaksi sosial siswa kelas 4 SDN Bumiayu 2 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penghitungan uji paired sample test yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang bernilai kurang dari 0,05. Sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil dari pretest dan posttest, dengan kata lain penggunaan model role playing berpengaruh dalam peningkatan interaksi sosial siswa. Tingkat efektivitas dari penggunaan model role playing termasuk dalam kategori sedang berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain dengan rata-rata gain score sebesar 0,6.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru bahasa di tingkat pendidikan dasar di lingkungan Kementerian Agama Kota Malang melalui pelatihan Active Learning. Kegiatan ini bertujuan membantu guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan mengajar yang interaktif, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada siswa. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan oleh tim dosen Universitas Negeri Malang bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Agama, memperkenalkan teknik-teknik pembelajaran aktif seperti One Minute Paper, Know, Want to Know, Learned) KWL) Fish Bowl, Kuis Humor, dan Bingo. Teknik-teknik ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan mendorong penguasaan bahasa Indonesia, Arab, dan Inggris. Lebih dari 50 guru bahasa berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan ini dengan respons yang sangat positif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, pelatihan ini tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar guru, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Diharapkan melalui pengabdian ini, metode pembelajaran aktif semakin diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah dan mendukung kualitas pendidikan bahasa.

Abstract

Manajemen konstruksi adalah proses perencanaan, penjadwalan, dan pengendalian sebuah proyek untuk memastikan bahwa tujuan proyek tercapai dengan benar. Pengorganisasian biaya dan sistem pengontrolan yang baik diperlukan untuk manajemen proyek sepanjang siklus konstruksi. Tingkat kebutuhan akan bangunan terus meningkat seiring kemajuan teknologi. Pada saat ini, proyek konstruksi berkembang dengan sangat cepat. Proyek konstruksi terdiri dari dua bagian yang berbeda: perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Perencanaan mengatur sumber daya, seperti tenaga kerja, peralatan, bahan, dan waktu, dan pelaksanaan memastikan pembangunan berjalan dengan tepat waktu dan dengan biaya yang efisien. Salah satunya harus didukung oleh analisis biaya yang baik agar keduanya berhasil.Hasil analisis menghasilkan total Rp 9.052.620.645, atau sembilan miliar lima puluh dua juta enam ratus dua puluh lima rupiah.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of human resources. One of the efforts to improve the quality of education in schools and thus enhance human resources is the collaboration between teachers and parents, which can boost students' learning motivation. One such effort to enhance students' learning motivation in schools is through the implementation of Three-Way Conference (TWC) activities. TWC is a meeting involving students, parents, and teachers to collectively reflect on students' learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of implementing TWC on students at the Laboratory Junior High School of Malang University. The method employed in this research is literature review. Literature review was obtained through articles or journals relevant to this research. The research findings indicate that the implementation of TWC activities has several impacts, including students gaining a better understanding of their areas of interest, schools inviting parents to the school with different schedules for each parent, teachers being able to follow up on learning activities that can enhance students' learning motivation, and parents providing support to motivate their children further in classroom learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas 2C SDN Percobaan 2 Kota Malang dengan menggunakan LKPD "Find the Letter" berbasis diferensiasi proses. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif, yang menganalisis waktu dan nilai kognitif peserta didik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas 2C SDN Percobaan 2 Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek kecepatan, peserta didik menyelesaikan tantangan dengan durasi yang bervariasi, sesuai dengan kategori kemampuan mereka. Berdasarkan analisis kemampuan membaca, didapatkan hasil bahwa 100 persen peserta didik dengan kemampuan tinggi memperoleh nilai kurang dari samadengan 78. Sebanyak 75 persen peserta didik dengan kemampuan sedang memperoleh nilai kurang dari samadengan 78, sementara 25 persen memperoleh nilai kurang dari 78. Di kelompok peserta didik dengan kemampuan rendah, 60 persen memperoleh nilai kurang dari samadengan 78 dan 40 persen memperoleh nilai kurang dari 78. LKPD "Find the Letter" berbasis diferensiasi proses terbukti mampu memberikan pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan berbeda. Variasi durasi pengerjaan berdasarkan kategori kemampuan mengurangi diskriminasi antara peserta didik dengan kemampuan rendah dan dua kategori lainnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas 2C tergolong baik, karena peserta didik mampu mencapai nilai tinggi dalam kecepatan membaca mereka. Penggunaan LKPD yang menarik juga memotivasi mereka untuk mengerjakan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi aspek proses dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.
