Abstract

Financial literacy education should ideally be introduced from an early age during school years. Children need to be guided and accustomed to good financial behaviors. This community service research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of financial literacy education in fostering an early investment foundation among students of SMK Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Balai. The low level of financial literacy among the younger generation, particularly in the context of investment, remains a relevant challenge amidst the dynamics of the digital economy. Employing interactive socialization and counseling methods, this program involved 65 twelfth-grade students. Pre-test and post-test results showed a highly significant increase in knowledge (average gain score of 35.8 points), accompanied by positive changes in students' attitudes and interest in early investment. The program's novelty lies in its emphasis on "financial adaptability" and the integration of entrepreneurial values. It is concluded that financial literacy education with an interactive counseling approach is highly effective in equipping students of SMK Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Balai with practical financial competencies for the future.

Abstract

In the latest developments in medical technology, machine learning, especially the application of the Decision Tree algorithm, is becoming an increasingly popular approach for large-scale health data analysis. Decision Tree is known for its ability to identify hidden patterns in clinical data with interpretation that is easy for medical professionals to understand. Through the process of parameter optimization, the accuracy of the model can be significantly improved, allowing for more precise predictions of possible autoimmune reactions due to the use of certain drugs. The use of Decision Tree-based predictive models with optimized parameters not only strengthens clinical decision-making, but also paves the way for more personalized and precise treatment practices. Parameter optimization is used for the execution of all parameter variations that are set through its subprocesses. The final result recorded an optimal predictive performance of 77.50% with 98.28% more precision for the "true=0" class compared to the "true=1" class.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital archiving system for managing umrah pilgrims’ data at PT Dakwah Nada Wisata (DNW Tour), utilizing Microsoft Access as the development platform. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, guided by the ADDIE model comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. The system is designed to facilitate data entry for pilgrims, registration, payments, departure schedules, automated reporting, and integrated data retrieval. The implementation results indicate that the system is effectively operable by administrative personnel and serves as a reliable replacement for the previously used manual archiving method. Empirical testing reveals a substantial improvement in data retrieval efficiency, reducing the average search time from 3–4 minutes to under one minute. The availability of a user manual further enhances the system’s usability, enabling staff to operate it independently. Overall, the developed digital archiving system significantly improves data organization and accuracy, thereby strengthening administrative processes at DNW Tour.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor individu dan lingkungan baik secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan menjadi wirausaha pada Mahasiswa Universitas Pamulang. Model penelitian bersifat asosiatif kuantitatif dengan pengujian hipotesis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Unpam yang berwirausaha dan jumlah sampel berdasarkan Slovin berjumlah 100 (digenapkan), sampling dengan teknik aksidental Metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert, Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, observasi dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data: Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Uji asumsi klasik, Uji Regresi Linier , Uji Koefisien Determinan, Uji Parsial (Uji t) dan Uji Simultan (Uji F).  Hasil Penelitian diperoleh: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang siginifikan antara faktor individu terhadap keputusan menjadi wirausaha pada mahasiswa Universitas Pamulang. Model regresi linier Y = 20,055+0,726Xi dengan nilai korelasi r =0,726 (korelasi kuat), serta nilai t hitung 10,439 >t tabel 1,985 dengan nilai sig.0,000 (<0,05). (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang siginifikan antara faktor lingkungan terhadap keputusan menjadi wirausaha pada mahasiswa Universitas Pamulang. Model regresi linier Y = 7,956+0,705X2 dengan nilai korelasi r =0,705 (korelasi kuat), serta nilai t hitung 9,845>t tabel 1,985 dengan nilai sig.0,000 (<0,05). (3)Terdapat pengaruh yang siginifikan antara faktor individu dan lingkungan secara simultan terhadap keputusan menjadi wirausaha pada mahasiswa Universitas Pamulang. Model regresi linier berganda Y = 7,002+0,486X1+0,441X2, dengan nilai korelasi berganda R =0,814 (korelasi sangat kuat), dan nilai koefisen determinasi adjusted R² sebesar 0,656 serta nilai F hitung 95,575>F tabel 1,43 dengan nilai sig.0,000 (<0,05). Kata Kunci: Faktor Individu; Faktor Lingkungan,Keputusan; Mahasiswa Unpam

Abstract

As digital technology becomes more embedded in early childhood education, gamified learning tools present a valuable opportunity to boost engagement and support cognitive development in preschool-aged children. This study explores the effectiveness of gamified tools in improving learning outcomes, motivation, and classroom participation among children aged 4 to 6 years. A mixed methods approach was used, involving two groups from preschools, the experimental group used gamified applications during instructional activities, while the control group followed traditional teaching methods over an eight-week period. Quantitative data were gathered through literacy and numeracy assessments conducted before and after the intervention, and qualitative data were collected through classroom observations and structured interviews with teachers. The findings revealed that children in the experimental group demonstrated statistically significant improvements in academic performance compared to the control group. They also showed higher levels of motivation, longer attention spans, and greater classroom engagement. Teachers reported more positive classroom dynamics during gamified sessions, noting increased enthusiasm, focus, and collaboration among students. These results suggest that gamified learning tools can serve as a powerful complement to traditional teaching approaches, helping to make early childhood education more effective and enjoyable. However, the study also emphasizes the importance of thoughtful implementation, such as aligning content with age-appropriate learning goals and ensuring teachers are well-equipped to facilitate technology-based instruction. Overall, gamified tools hold strong potential to enhance the preschool learning experience in meaningful ways.

Abstract

Shifts are part of the work scheduling system in 24-hour hospitals, including the Emergency Department (ER). Night shift work can potentially cause physical and mental fatigue and reduce nurses' concentration, which can impact the quality of care and patient safety. This study aims to analyze the effect of night shifts on nurses' fatigue levels and concentration in the ER of X Regional General Hospital. The study used a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. A purposive sample of 60 nurses was selected, with at least 6 months of work experience in the ER and willingness to participate in the study. Data were collected using a Modified Variable Response Questionnaire (MOQ) Fatigue Impact Scale (MFIS) to measure fatigue and Work Concentration Scale (WCS) for work concentration. Data analysis used Pearson correlation with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed a significant positive relationship between night shift work and nurse fatigue levels (r = 0.68; p < 0.05) and a significant negative relationship between night shift work and work concentration (r = -0.62; p < 0.05). This indicates that the more frequently nurses work night shifts, the higher their fatigue levels and the lower their work concentration. In conclusion, night shifts increase fatigue and decrease concentration among nurses in the emergency department. Equitable shift schedules and fatigue management programs are recommended to maintain nurse performance and service quality.
