Abstract

Bone imaging using ultrasound is a safe technique since it does not involve ionizing radiation and non-invasive. However, bone detection and localization to find its region of interest (RoI) is a challenging task because b-mode ultrasound images are characterized by high level of noise and reverberation artifacts. The image quality is user-dependent and the boundary between tissues is blurry, which makes it challenging to interpret images. In this paper, the deep learning approach using Region Proposal Networks was implemented to detect bone’s RoI in b-mode images. The Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network model was fine-tuned to detect and determine the bone location in b-mode images automatically. To evaluate the results, in-vivo experiments were carried out using human arm specimens. A total of 1,066 b-mode bone images from six different subjects were used in the training phase and testing phase. The proposed method was successful in determining the bone RoI with the value of the mAP, the accuracy of detection, and the accuracy of localization of 0.87, 98.33%, and 95.99% respectively.

Abstract

The Balinese dances that are popular today were created by maestros who have existed since time immemorial. To develop the dances made by the existing maestro, one must know the characteristics of each dance based on the motion used. The help of digital image processing and string algorithm analysis methods will help to determine the characteristics of a dance. The algorithm used for dance analysis is the Suffix Tree, where the suffix tree is one of the algorithms that can be used to find patterns from input strings. The string to be analyzed is a series of codes performed by the classifier. The classifier used is Convolutional Neural Network. This method uses an image as its input, which will later perform convolution operations and perform a full-connected layer. The results were obtained using the Convolutional Neural Network method with Alexnet architecture as the classification and confusion matrix to calculate the level of accuracy of the test set, the best accuracy for the head is by using parameter learning rate 0.001, epoch 150, and RGB color space obtained 95% accuracy, 88% precision, 78% recall, and 82% f1-score. For the full body, using a learning rate of 0.01, epoch 150, and RGB color space, the accuracy is 85%, precision is 79%, recall is 64%, and f1-score is 69%. For the legs, using a learning rate of 0.001, epoch 150, and RGB color space, the accuracy is 92%, precision is 84%, recall is 59%, and f1-score is 65%. The results of the suffix tree analysis between codes that use ground truth and classification results have similar values, although the results of the movement patterns obtained by the suffix tree algorithm have not varied, which is dominated by class A because class A is the dominant class in each dance.

Abstract

Acute pain has been recorded as the most comman complaint which brings patients to the hospital. Acute pain that is not treated early on a proper and sustainable basis can be at risk of becoming chronic pain. The limited number of health workers makes the health services process on handling acute pain earlier become harder to do. This triggers people's habits to prefer to do self-medication. However, this habit is not well supported by the fact that Indonesian people's knowledge of using drugs is still low to moderate. It can increase the possibility of medication errors such as increasing drug side effects. In the management of acute pain, a consultant who can diagnose the type of acute pain disease is needed. In this research, an expert system was built to diagnose types of acute pain that experienced by patients, as well as provided solutions for each type of acute pain disease. The method used in this expert system is a combination of Certainty Factor and Forward Chaining methods. The combination of these two methods was chosen because it is suitable in the process of identifying the type of acute pain, and the result of applying this method is a percentage. This system was built using the Waterfall method with stages starting from the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Based on the stages that have been carried out, this system has been successfully built very well, it could be seen from the BlackBox and Whitebox software tests with a 100% success rate. The accuracy testing of the system diagnoses results against expert diagnoses involving 20 test cases obtained a 100% conformity level, which means this system could be used to diagnose the acute pain diseases very well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Authoring Tools pada mata pelajaran batik, dan mengetahui respon dari pendidik dan peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari: analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation, dengan aplikasi Articulate Storyline 3. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrument angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan untuk uji kevalidan konten pembelajaran dari hasil perhitungan validasi ahli isi, dan media-desain pembelajaran mendapatkan kriteria “Sangat Valid”. Hasil perolehan nilai N-Gain memperoleh Interprestasi “Tinggi”, hasil rata-rata respon pendidik dan peserta didik masing-masing memperoleh kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Dapat disimpulkan konten pembelajaran interaktif berbasis authoring tools pada mata pelajaran batik layak untuk digunakan peserta didik dalam memahami materi yang diberikan. Abstract

Film Animasi 3 Dimensi yang berjudul “Tude The Movie – Hilangnya Handphone Bayu Saat Bermain Deduplak” menceritakan tentang Tude dan kawan-kawannya yang sedang asik bermain deduplak di lapangan, namun ditengah-tengah permainan, salah satu teman Tude yang bernama Bayu kehilangan handphone miliknya. Deduplak sendiri merupakan permainan tradisional Bali berlari dan berjalan yang terbuat dari batok kelapa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pembuatan Film Animasi 3 Dimensi Tude The Movie – Hilangnya Handphone Bayu Saat Bermain Deduplak dan mengetahui respon masyarakat terhadap hasil akhir Film Animasi 3 Dimensi Tude The Movie – Hilangnya Handphone Bayu Saat Bermain Deduplak. Pengembangan Film Animasi 3 Dimensi Tude The Movie – Hilangnya Handphone Bayu Saat Bermain Deduplak menggunakan model penelitian MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle), MDLC memiliki 6 tahapan diantaranya adalah tahapan concept (pengonsepan), tahapan design (perancangan), tahapan material collecting (pengumpulan bahan), tahapan assembly (pembuatan), tahapan testing (pengujian) dan terakhir adalah tahapan distribution (pendistribusian). Film Animasi 3 Dimensi Tude The Movie – Hilangnya Handphone Bayu Saat Bermain Deduplak diharapkan nantinya mampu memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat mengenai permainan tradisional Bali deduplak. Beberapa pengujian dilakukan pada film animasi ini diantaranya dari pengujian ahli isi yang mendapat hasil 100%, pengujian ahli media mendapat hasil 100% dan pengujian respon pengguna mendapat respon 62% sangat positif, 35% berkategori positif dan 3% berkategori cukup positif. Rata – rata tingkat kelayakan terhadap Film Animasi 3 Dimensi Tude The Movie – Hilangnya Handphone Bayu Saat Bermain Deduplak, medapatkan hasil 87,8% dan masuk kedalam kategori Baik di masyarakat.

Abstract

Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) secara resmi menyebut virus Covid-19 sebagai pandemi global, oleh karena itu semua negara di dunia berusaha meminimalkan dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh virus tersebut, yaitu dengan mengembangkan vaksin. Dalam konteks pandemi Covid-19, pemerintah Indonesia juga meminta dan mendorong masyarakat untuk turut serta mendukung vaksinasi, namun upaya tersebut sebenarnya memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan, sehingga banyak masyarakat yang mengutarakan pendapatnya di jejaring sosial salah satunya Twitter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan analisis sentimen dan mengukur performansi algoritma Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) dan Support Vector Machine (SVM) terhadap data vaksin Covid-19 dengan cara mengklasifikasikan data tersebut ke dalam kelas positif dan negatif. Data tweet yang didapat kemudian dilakukan text preprocessing untuk mengoptimalkan pengolahan data. Terdapat 4 tahapan text preprocessing antara lain Case Folding, Tokenizing, Filtering, dan Stemming. Penelitian ini mengkaji kinerja Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) dan Support Vector Machine (SVM) dengan menambahkan teknik TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) yang bertujuan untuk memberikan bobot pada hubungan kata (term) sebuah dokumen. Kemudian melakukan splitting data yaitu membagi data training 80% dan data testing 20% dengan harapan mendapatkan model dengan performansi terbaik dan yang terakhir melakukan visualisasi data tweet dengan menggunakan Word Cloud agar bisa menarik sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil klasifikasi data tweet vaksin Covid-19 menggunakan algoritma Naïve Bayes Classifier mendapatkan nilai accuracy sebesar 81%, precision sebesar 80%, recall sebesar 99%, dan f1-score sebesar 89%, Sedangkan untuk algoritma Support Vector Machine mendapatkan nilai accuracy sebesar 87%, precision sebesar 88%, recall sebesar 96%, dan f1-score sebesar 92%.

Abstract

People relatively use machine translation to learn any textual knowledge beyond their native language. There is already robust machine translation such as Google translate. However, the language list has only covered the high resource language such as English, France, etc., but not for Kawi Language as one of the local languages used in Bali's old works of literature. Therefore, it is necessary to study the development of machine translation from the Kawi language to the more active user language such as the Indonesian language to make easier learning access for the young learner. The research developed the neural machine translation (NMT) using recurrent neural network (RNN) based neural models and analyzed the influence of word vectorization using Word2Vec for the machine translation performance based on BLEU scores. The result shows that word vectorization indeed significantly increases the NMT models performance, and Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) with attention mechanism has the highest BLEU scores equal to 20.86. The NMT models still could not achieve the BLEU scores on par with those human experts and high resource language machine translation. On the other hand, this initial study could be the reference for the future development of Kawi to Indonesian NMT.

Abstract

Balinese carvings are less known to the public due to the lack of information about Balinese carvings. Minimum information about Balinese carvings can be overcome by utilizing advances in information technology in the field of image processing, namely the introduction of Balinese carving patterns. In the pattern recognition model of an image, there are several things that can be analyzed, such as the recognition method used, feature extraction, including the model in preprocessing to reduce noise in a Balinese carving image. In this study, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) was used to classify Balinese carving images combined with Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) in extracting image features. The introduction was made to 25 categories of Balinese carving ornaments. Tests are generated based on the level of accuracy generated in the testing process. Analysis of the results was carried out on the resulting model, namely the analysis of the combination of CNN with DWT and without DWT. Testing the data set with 212 training data and 129 testing data using all DWT channels. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it is found that using the DWT extraction feature produces a higher testing accuracy value, namely 35.66% for 25 classes and 74, 42% for 3 carving classes. Meanwhile, without using DWT, it produces an accuracy value of 32.56% for 25 classes and 66.67% for 3 carving classes. In future research, it is hoped that there will be an improvement in the data set and good shooting with a balanced and adequate number for the 25 carving classes that have been obtained.

Abstract

The development of information technology has given birth to many new innovations, such as the e-Surat application which can help the administrative process of electronic service manuscripts at the OPD (Regional Apparatus Organization) in Tabanan Regency. The implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency is still not optimal, there are factors that affect the implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency. The model or method that is considered appropriate for analyzing and understanding the factors that can affect the implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency is the TOE framework that will analyze the implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency in terms of technology, organization and environment aspects. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the data analysis show that: (1) technological variables have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of e-Surat applications in OPD in Tabanan Regency, (2) organizational variables have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of e-Surat applications in OPD in Tabanan Regency and (3) environmental variables have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of e-Surat applications in OPD in Tabanan Regency.

Abstract

Udayana University has developed numerous information systems to accommodate all types of academic and non-academic activities. Because the process of retrieving data from other systems still employs the traditional method with a joint scheme between databases, the resulting data quality becomes increasingly inaccurate over time. Some systems have also established simple web services that do not adhere to the Restful API authoring rules. Based on these issues, modifications were made to the data integration process using Microservices Management, Service Oriented Architecture, and OAuth 2.0 as the security protocol. The results indicate that the microservices management system is highly effective and efficient for improving process performance, has a low risk level, a good control test validation of 93,33 %, and a usability grade of B, indicating that the system is deemed good and usable.
