Abstract

To achieve the 2013 curriculum aims, which is, to prepare Indonesian people that have the ability to live as individuals and citizens who believe, productive, creative, innovative, effective and able to contribute to society, nation, and world civilization, teachers should educate students to become self-regulated learner. The previous studies found that self-regulated learning not only improves students? learning, but it also improves their perceptions. Therefore, the aims of this research were to implemented a certain SRL's elements on pollution topic. It were also to evaluate the effect of self-regulated oriented learning on students? achievement and students? perception. This research involved 64 experienced students from 2 classes in 7th grade of Junior High School 1 Lamongan. This research was conducted in three phases, that are, the development of research instruments, validation of those instruments, and implementation of those instruments in the classroom. The findings showed that SRL implementation in terms of Lesson Plans and worksheet feasibility is in good categories. It was also affected on the students' perceptions of constructivist learning environments about 82.1%, affected on the students' acquired knowledge results about 72.5%, and affected on the students' process skill results about 76.8%. Due to the results, it can be concluded that implementation of SRL was effective for the learners

Abstract

The objective of this research was to produce worksheet of fungi material based on Plus KWL?s strategy to train the metacognitive skills seen at the effectiveness. The type of this research was a development with a 3D research design that was shortened into define, design and development. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA 1. Instruments used in this study was test. Based on the effectiveness of worksheet based on Plus KWL?s strategy was obtained from pre and posttest result which have been tested from the positive value sensitivity. This worksheet can be used to train the metacognitive skills by very good criteria that were determining the level of confidence and score. It can be concluded that the worksheet based Plus KWL ?s is very effective to train metacognitive skills

Abstract

This study aimed to produce a guided inquiry learning science model through flipbook media which is appropriate for training critical thinking skills for junior high school students on the Human Respiratory System material. The development of the device is a modification of the 4-D model which was tested on eighth grade students of the junior high school even semester semester 2019/2020 and was repeated twice. This is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design and the data collection uses the method of validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The research data generated are validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning devices analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that (a) learning devices developed were categorized as very valid, (b) learning activities were carried out very well with an average score of 3.69, (c) student activities in learning were carried out very well, (d) student responses to learning inquiry was very good (95.99%), and (e) the results of students' critical thinking tests had a high increase, critical thinking skills increased from 28.37 (Very Less Critical) to 81.21 (Critical). The conclusion of the science learning device with guided inquiry learning model through the developed flipbook media is appropriate to be used to train students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The development was refferred to ADDIE model, consisted of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate phase. The research stage was begun by curriculum, concept, task, and student analysis then continued with design and development stage in Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The developed student worksheet was then implemented limitedly to fiften 12th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Gresik. The observed parameters were the validity of the stundent worksheet and pretest-posttest questions. The data of worksheet and pretest-posttest questions validity obtained from the validation of an education expert, as well as the validation of a material genetics expert and a biology teacher that were analyzed based on mode. The validation result showed that the student worksheet and pretest-posttest questions were very valid with score 4 and 100%, respectively. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the student worksheet and pretest-posttest questions were very valid and worthy to be used in training student metacognitive skills.Keyword: student worksheet, KWL, metacognitive skills, genetics material

Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 yang berlaku di Indonesia menggunakan pendekatan scientific approach. Lembar kegiatan siswa merupakan salah satu perangkat yang penting dalam pembelajaran. Dari hasil wawancara terhadap 14 siswa SMA kelas X , lembar kegiatan siswa belum terintegrasi scientific approach, khususnya pada materi ekologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS berbasis Scientific Approach materi ekologi kelas X SMA yang layak secara teoritis berdasarkan hasil validasi para ahli. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah 3D yakni design, define, dan develop. Lembar penilaian kelayakan LKS mengacu pada skala Likert. LKS yang yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh dosen ahli materi dan ahli pendidikan menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi metode validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata validitas LKS sebesar 91,03% dengan rincian aspek penyajian sebesar 89,06%, aspek isi sebesar 88,75%, dan aspek kebahasaan sebesar 95,20%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kriteria interpretasi sangat valid. Kata kunci: lembar kegiatan siswa, scientific approach, materi ekologi

Abstract

Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis Problem Based Learning ini menekankan siswa untuk berpikir kreatif sehingga cocok diterapkan dalam materi daur ulang limbah karena siswa dituntut untuk membuat banyak ide. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi daur ulang limbah untuk melatihkan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X SMA. Validitas LKPD ditinjau dari isi, penyajian,kebahasaan, kesesuaian dengan model PBL dan aspek berpikir kreatif yang dilihat dari hasil telaah 1 dosen ahli materi dan 2 dosen ahli pendidikan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate).Validasi dilakukan oleh para ahli terhadap LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif.LKPD berbasis PBL yang dikembangkan setelah dilakukan telaah dan revisi, diperoleh modus hasil validasi kelayakan LKPD yang telah dikembangkan, yaitu kategori valid untuk komponen kelayakan isi dan kelayakan kebahasaan.Kemudian kategori sangat valid untuk komponen kelayakan penyajian, kelayakan kesesuaian dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan kelayakan pada aspekketerampilan berpikir kreatif.Modus dari kelima komponen tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, dengan demikian, dapat dinyatakan bahwa secara umum LKPD yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kategori validitas sangat valid sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: validitas, lembar kegiatan siswa, problem based learning, daur ulang limbah

Abstract

map technique to facilitate learners to understand the concept. This research aimed to produce a valid and practical mutation textbook using metacognitive and mind map strategy for senior high school grade XII. This research adopted ADDIE development model, consisted of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The textbook was validated by three validators, namely: an education professional, an expert on mutation material, and a biology teacher. The limited trial was conducted on 15 students at SMA Dharma Wanita 4 Taman, Sidoarjo. Data were collected through validation activity, readability test, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique. The results indicated that the textbook was stated as valid with a score of 3.82 and practical based on the readability level of 10 (appropriate for senior high school readers) and a very positive response by 96.14%. Based on the data, the mutation textbook using metacognitive and mind map strategy for senior high school grade XII was stated as valid and practical. Abstract

Salah satu materi dalam pembelajaran biologi adalah Bioteknologi. Kegiatan pembelajaran dalam Bioteknologi berdasarkan kompetensi dasar (KD) meliputi menganalisis, berdiskusi, melakukan percobaan, dan melaporkan hasil percobaan sehingga membutuhkan bahan ajar mencakup semua kegiatan.  Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) merupakan salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. LKS yang dapat dikembangkan mengacu Kurikulum 2013 yaitu LKS berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik karena tahapannya mencakup lima pengalaman belajar yang diminta yaitu mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasi dan mengkomunikasikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kelayakan secara teoretis LKS berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi Bioteknologi SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Data kelayakan teoretis didapatkan dari hasil validasi dua ahli bidang pendidikan dan bioteknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan teoretis berdasarkan aspek penyajian, materi, bahasa, dan kesesuaian dengan pendekatan saintifik mendapatkan persentase 92,75% yang berarti LKS ini sangat layak secara teoretis. Abstract

Metakognitif merupakan salah satu komponen yang penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Buku ajar merupakan sarana yang dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh implementasi buku ajar metakognitif terintegrasi mind map terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperiemen dan kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment design dengan menggunakan metode penelitian control pretest dan posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 37 siswa kelas XII MIA 4 dan 37 siswa kelas XII MIA 5. Pada kelas eksperimen digunakan buku ajar strategi metakognitif terintegrasi mind map, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan buku ajar yang biasa digunakan di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan nilai pretest posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Uji Z menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Implementasi buku ajar strategi metakognitif berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar. Peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Kelas kontrol mendapatkan kategori sedang (0.44) dan kelas eksperimen dengan kategori tinggi (0.85). Kata kunci: quasi experiment, metakognitif, mind map, mutasi, hasil belajar

Abstract

Fungi  is  a  very  broad  topic.  Because  of  this  breadth,  learning  media  are  needed  so  it  can  help  students  to  understand  allfungi subject. The media needed can at least attract students' interest in studying fungi subject. One of suitable medium isPrezi-based  presentation  media  that  can  display  audio  and  visuals  in  delivering  material  and  also  can  be  zoomed  in  andzoomed  out  .  This  study  aims  to  produce  a  Prezi-Based  Presentation  Media  at  fungi  subject  in  grade  X  high  school  anddescribe  its  validity.  Media  development  is  done  at  Biology  Department,  Faculty  of  Mathematics  ans  Natural  Sciences,Universitas  Negeri  Surabaya  by  using  (ASSURE)  Analyze  Learner,  State Objective,  Select  Media and  Materials,  UtilizeMedia  and  Materials,  Require  Learner  Participation,  Evaluate  and  Revise  method.  The  media  validity  assessment  sheetrefers  to  the  Likert  scale.  The  media  is  reviewed  by  writing  down  whether  there  are  any  aspects  expected  in  eachcomponent  and  assessed  with  a  range  of  scores  from  1  to  4,  with  the  category  score  1  :  less  decent,  2  :  quite  decent,  3  :decent and 4 : very decent. The media was validated by two biology lecturers. Based on the results obtained, Prezi-basedpresentation media is declared decent with an average value of 3.28 and should be tested in terms of its validity.Keywords: Multimedia, Prezi, Fungi subject.
