Abstract

Abstract

Background. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that is still a public health challenge, especially in toddlers, because it has a long-term impact on physical growth, cognitive development, and productivity in the future. Purpose. This study aims to determine the characteristics of stunting determinants in toddlers aged 6–59 months in Pekalipan Village, Cirebon City in 2025. Method. The study used an analytical observational design with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all toddlers aged 6–59 months in the study area, with a sample of 153 respondents. Data analysis was carried out univariate to illustrate the distribution of characteristics of the research variables which included maternal education, maternal age at birth, birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding status, immunization completeness, history of infectious diseases, and feeding patterns.Results. The results showed that most mothers had a high level of education (80.4%) and were at a non-risk age at childbirth (83.0%). The majority of toddlers were born with normal weight (92.8%), received exclusive breastfeeding (74.5%), and had complete immunization status (87.6%). Most of the toddlers had no history of infectious diseases (92.2%), but most respondents had improper feeding patterns (86.9%). The prevalence of stunting in toddlers aged 6-59 months in Pekalipan Village is 19.0%.Conclusion. The conclusions of this study show that although most of the determinant characteristics are in the good category, improper feeding patterns are still the dominant problem that has the potential to contribute to the incidence of stunting. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen nutrition education and proper parenting as an effort to prevent stunting in toddlers

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed the way students interact, learn, and participate in social life through cyberspace. The increasing use of social media, online communication platforms, and internet-based applications has heightened the risk of legal violations such as cyberbullying, disinformation, privacy breaches, and hate speech. This condition indicates that technical digital literacy alone is insufficient without being accompanied by systematic and contextual legal education. This article aims to analyze the urgency of legal education for students as a foundation for building legal awareness in the era of digitalization. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of various studies and regulations related to cyber law, civic education, and digital literacy. The findings reveal that legal education needs to be integrated into the school curriculum through an interdisciplinary approach that combines pedagogical aspects, digital ethics, and an understanding of cyber regulations. Legal education should not merely function as the transfer of normative knowledge, but also as a preventive effort to shape character, digital responsibility, and a culture of legal compliance from an early age. Therefore, strengthening legal education for students becomes a crucial strategy in creating a generation that is critical, ethical, and legally aware in utilizing cyberspace wisely and responsibly.

Abstract

Slag is a mixture of mineral in tin sand or by product in the smelting process. By using separation process, tin can be separated from other minerals in slag. Extraction process with a solvent is usually used to separate tin from other minerals. Furthermore, solution that still contains many dissolved compounds is adsorbed by activated carbon and desorption back with NaOH solution. This study only focuses on the extraction process to obtain a stannate chloride solution with extraction temperature, solvent concentration, extraction time, and liquid/solid ratio as variables. Hydrochloric acid (HCl) has been used as solvent in this study. The concentration of tin in the extracts of each variable was analyzed to determine the percentage of recovery of tin and the optimum operating conditions in the recovery process of tin from waste slag. Experiment results show that the percentage of recovery increases with the increasing of extraction temperature and solvent concentration The highest recovery is 61.5% which is obtained when the extraction temperature is 80 ºC, concentration of HCl is 10 wt%, with a HCl solution and slag ratio is 7: 1 and extraction time is about 30 minutes.

Abstract

Membrane-based desorption of carbon dioxide (CO2) using a membrane contactor is considered a novel process for separating CO2 from solvents. It can be carried out using temperature regeneration, sweep gas, and vacuum method. In this work, the vacuum regeneration method is applied in the CO2 desorption process from 30% wt of diethanolamine (DEA) solution. This study investigates the effect of operating parameters such as liquid flowrate, vacuum pressure, and CO2 loading on the mass transfer rate and desorption efficiency of CO2. The highest mass transfer rate of 2.2013 × 10-7 mol/m2s is achieved at a liquid flowrate of 500 mL/min, CO2 loading of 0.27 mol CO2/mol DEA, and vacuum pressure of 50 cmHg while the maximum desorption efficiency of 71.45% is achieved at lower liquid flowrate of 100 mL/min, CO2 loading of 0.27 mol CO2/mol DEA, and vacuum pressure of 50 cmHg. The result demonstrates that membrane contactor is a promising method for the CO2 desorption process which requires further investigation.
