Abstract

The Ir. H. Djuanda Reservoir in Purwakarta Regency is one of the priority areas in the implementation of the Citarum Harum programme, which focuses on restoring the environmental quality of the Citarum River. This study aims to determine the abundance and community structure of phytoplankton in Ir. H. Djuanda Reservoir after the implementation of the Citarum Harum Programme. This study used purposive sampling method at 11 stations in Ir. H. Djuanda Reservoir in August 2024. Phytoplankton abundance was measured based on APHA and community structure was analysed using ecological indicators including diversity, variability and dominance indices. Water quality assessment was determined using the STORET method as the analytical instrument. Statistical analyses were also conducted to assess differences in phytoplankton abundance between stations. The results showed that the phytoplankton community in Ir. H. Djuanda Reservoir during the study consisted of five classes and 31 genera with low diversity and evenness and no dominance. Phytoplankton abundance ranged from 389,048 - 710,536 cells/L and differed between stations (P<0.05). The relative abundance of Cyanophyceae (46.60%) was almost equal to Chlorophyceae (43.45%) indicating a change in the environment for the better. This study is expected to be one of the references for monitoring and evaluation materials for the implementation of the Citarum Harum programme as empirical evidence that there has been a change in the water quality status of Ir. H. Djuanda Reservoir from heavily polluted to moderately to lightly polluted.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have driven the transformation of assessment systems in education, including in the Islamic Education Study Program at the Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. The manual essay assessment process is often considered inefficient, time-consuming, and prone to subjectivity on the part of assessors. This study aims to develop a Digital Automated Short Essay Scoring Assessment Model designed to enhance the effectiveness, speed, and objectivity of essay assessment for students. This study employs a research and development approach with a four-stage model, namely the definition stage, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage, with a focus on the first three stages. Research data were collected through interviews, observations, document reviews, digital-based essay tests, and user satisfaction questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results of the study indicate that the Automated Short Essay Scoring Digital Assessment Model is valid according to experts, feasible for use, and capable of improving the efficiency of the assessment process and student motivation. This model has positive implications by supporting adaptive learning, facilitating instructors in providing quick, accurate, and structured feedback, and encouraging improved quality of academic interaction between instructors and students.

Abstract

Purpose- Character education in early childhood is an essential foundation for forming a generation with noble morals and character. One practical approach to instilling character values is through regional songs and traditional games. Regional songs contain rich cultural values and can stimulate children's emotional and social development. Meanwhile, traditional games teach the values of sportsmanship, cooperation, and discipline, which are very important in children's social lives. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of regional songs and traditional games in developing the character of early childhood.Methodology—This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis techniques, and quantitative data were analyzed statistically using SPSS.Finding- The study results showed that using regional songs significantly fostered values of politeness, love of the homeland, and appreciation for cultural diversity. This study concludes that integrating regional songs and traditional games in learning in early childhood education has proven effective in holistically forming children's characters. Regional songs help instill moral and cultural values, while traditional games shape children's social skills and discipline.Contribution- This approach should be developed and applied more widely in the early childhood education curriculum to strengthen cultural identity and moral values in everyday life.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Bases Learning (PJBL) Fase E X-2 SMA Negeri 11 Medan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada topik Pendidikan Pancasila. Berdasarkan temuan observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti di SMA Negeri 11 Medan, terdapat permasalahan pada cara siswa dan guru terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Secara khusus, guru tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasil dipengaruhi oleh kondisi ini. Dari 36 siswa Fase E X-2, hanya 16 siswa yang memperoleh KKM dengan nilai persentase 39,11%, sesuai data prasiklus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Empat fase setiap siklusnya adalah Perencanaan, Tindakan, Observasi, dan Refleksi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Kajian data siklus II menunjukkan bahwa dari 36 siswa, rata-rata klasikalnya adalah 89,11%, meningkat 25% dari rata-rata klasikal siklus II sebesar 64,11%. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada Fase E X-2 SMA Negeri 11.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, games kuis berbasis PBL digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik. Games kuis ini dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman belajar peserta didik melalui pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang relevan dengan materi yang sedang dipelajari. Peserta didik akan diajak untuk berpikir kritis, menganalisis informasi, dan mencari solusi atas masalah yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan games kuis berbasis PBL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman belajar peserta didik pada materi mengenali, menyadari, dan menghargai keragaman identitas. Peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam memahami konsep-konsep yang diajarkan melalui games kuis ini. Mereka juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analisis. Penggunaan games kuis berbasis PBL dalam pembelajaran juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan bagi peserta didik. Mereka merasa lebih termotivasi dan terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Games kuis ini juga dapat meningkatkan interaksi antara peserta didik dan guru, serta antara peserta didik satu dengan yang lainnya. Dalam kesimpulannya, penggunaan games kuis berbasis PBL dapat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman belajar peserta didik pada materi mengenali, menyadari, dan menghargai keragaman identitas di SMA Negeri 11 Medan. Games kuis ini memberikan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif, menarik, dan menyenangkan bagi peserta didik. Dengan demikian, penggunaan games kuis berbasis PBL dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman belajar peserta didik

Abstract

The Nusantara Fishing Port (PPN) Kejawanan is located in the Lemahwungkuk District of Cirebon City. Cast nets are a widely used fishing gear for catching squid. This study aims to describe how cast nets are operated and to analyze variations in squid catch productivity per trip and per gross tonnage (GT) of the vessel. The method used was a survey method through direct observation and interviews to obtain technical data on fishing operations and catch results. Observations were made on seven (7) cast net vessels per month (n = 7 vessels/month) during the period January–March 2024. The results of the study show that during January–March 2024, the highest productivity value occurred in January at 7,349 kg/trip and the lowest value was 6,224 kg/trip in February. Meanwhile, the highest productivity per GT of vessel catch was in January at 183.73 kg/GT of vessel, and the lowest was in February at 121.02 kg/GT. This variation in productivity between months occurred in the context of the season and was related to a combination of technical operational factors and fishing environmental conditions.
