Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reaffirm the effect of interest rates, exchange rates and inflation on banking stock prices in 2011-2020 and to strengthen the results of previous studies. The data sources for this research were obtained from the official website of Bank Indonesia, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study were 45 banks. The research sample used was purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is a quantitative technique, then it is estimated by means of a qualitative test of the influence of the variables both simultaneously and partially and using a panel data regression model test, classical assumptions, linear data panel analysis to the coefficient of determination r-square. The results showed that the results of the separate test showed a positive and significant effect on the interest rate variable, then the exchange rate variable obtained a positive and significant effect while the inflation variable had a negative and insignificant effect. This is because if inflation occurs, the price will decrease so that inflation must continue to increase and in such a way that there are no fluctuations in order to stabilize inflation.

This is indicated by the regression coefficient value of 0.9872 and the probability value of 0.0000. Net Interest Margin (NIM) has a positive and insignificant effect on Credit Distribution. This is indicated by the regression coefficient value of 0.0043 and the probability value of 0.5706. And the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a positive and insignificant effect on Credit Distribution. Abstract

Inflation has always been a major concern of governments in the world, especially in developing countries like Indonesia, as an economic issue. The study aims to study how economic growth, exports, and interest rates impacted inflation rates during the period 1993-2022. Interest rates, exports, and economic growth are used as free variables, and inflation is used as bound variables. In this study, the analysis method is a double linear regression analysis. The results show that export value has a significant positive influence on inflation, while interest rates and economic growth have a significant negative influence upon inflation. Reducing aggregate economic demand, which can suppress inflationary pressures, is a way to control interest rates. To suppress inflation during economic growth, tax policies can be used to reduce public spending or raise taxes.

Abstract

Economic growth and financial inclusion have a mutually reinforcing relationship. Financial inclusion consists of three indices, namely Availability, Access, and Usage. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the level of financial inclusion on economic growth in Indonesia and to determine which indicators most influence economic growth in Indonesia. The method used in this study is Partial Lie Square (PLS) analysis. The study period is 2017-2023 with quarterly data with independent variables (Financial Inclusion) as latent variables that have many indicators. The results of the analysis show that of the three latent variables of financial inclusion, there are two variables that affect economic growth, namely Access with indicators of debit cards, credit cards, and e-money cards. and Usage with indicators of debit transaction volume. The implication of the research results is that government and central bank policies are to encourage access and use of digital financial services in the community, especially those underserved by formal financial institutions as an effort to accelerate economic growth in Indonesia.
