Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian efek metil ester minyak jarak pagar dan dimetil ester rantai bercabang (DMEB)turunan oleat terhadap emisi gas buang pada mesin diesel. Metil ester minyak jarak pagardibuat dengan cara tranesterifikasi Dari hasil pengujian didapat m minyak jarak pagar dandimetil ester rantai bercabang (DMEB) dibuat dengan proses kabonilasi asam oleat, pengujianini meliputi 4 (empat) jenis bahan bakar yakni B0, B5, B10 dan B10mix yang mengandung metilester berturut-turut 0% (100% solar pertadex), 5%, 10% dan B10 mix (10% metil ester dan 1%DMEB), kemudian dilakukan dengan menggunakan motor diesel TD110-TD115 test bed andinstrumentation for small engines pada putaran 1600 rpm,dan auto gas analizer untukmendeteksi emisi ga buang. Dari data penelitian didapat emisi CO B0 3,42%, B5 1,74%,B101,56%, dan B10mix 1,54%. Dan pada emisi HC untuk B0 185 ppm, B5 185 ppm, B10 184ppm, dan B10mix 175 ppm. Sedangkan emisi CO2 untuk B0 5,96%, B5 5,92%, B10 5,38%, danB10mix 5,26%, sehingga efek metil ester minyak jarak pagar menurunkan emisi gas buangdibandingkan dengan B0 (solar pertadex). Makin tinggi persentase metil ester minyak jaraksemakin turun emisi yang dihasilkan. Penambahan 1% dimetil ester rantai bercabang dapatmenurunkan emisi hidrokarbon (HC) dari 184 ppm menjadi 175 ppm.Kata kunci: Metil ester, Dimetil ester, Tranesterifikasi, emisi, Karbonilasi.

Abstract

Chemistry is considered a science that is quite difficult and uninteresting to learn for many students. One of the causes is the lack of interest in the student's attention to the learning process in chemistry. The use of information and communication technology is an effective and efficient way to improve the quality of the learning process and outcomes in schools. A learning media is created in which modules with magazine models are combined with an Augmented Reality (AR) technology application to facilitate the students to understand the subject matter, especially chemistry. This application implements the Marker Based Tracking and Markerless Augmented Reality methods. Some application design stages are such as collecting data about modules, interface design, database, information displayed, and building applications into Android package (Apk). The tools such as Unity 3D, Vuforia Object Scanner, Vuforia SDK, Android SDK, Java Development Kit, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro are used to build this application. The result shows that the Androidbased Augmented Reality application can successfully display more information on the modules that are available in the form of videos about the additional explanation of the thermochemical material. Abstract

Abstract:REACT strategy is a learning strategy in a contextual approach, to impelement the REACT learning strategy, We have developed a set of studentlyworksheetbased on REACT theworksheet that is compiled and designed with emphasis on the interrelationship between subjectmatter and the real world of student’s life. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid physical LKPD based on REACTon simple machinematerial injuniorhigh school science learningIn this study, the validation stage was carried out by 3 lecturers of Physics Education who were experienced and also conducted trials limited to 10students of class VIIIat SMPN 25Pekanbaru. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire shaped a checklist. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis by calculating the index of each indicator used to determine the validity of the develop LKPD. The results of this study provide information that the developed of physical LKPD based on REACT in simple machinematerialis valid and practical in the high and very high categories and can be used in learning to support the teaching and learning process so that it becomes better.KeyWords:LKPD,REACT, Simple Machine, Science Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the understanding of students' concepts and to know the difference in understanding of the concepts of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Pekanbaru with the application of the Teaching With Analogie (TWA) learning model and conventional learning on pressure material. This type of research is true experimental design with a posttest control only design. The research sample was the students class VIII of SMPN 3 Pekanbaru in academic year 2018/2019 which amounted to 43 students. The data of this study are data on students' understanding of concepts consisting of post-test scores through the application of TWA learning. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at the percentage of conceptual understanding and inferentially analyzed using the T-test. Descriptive analysis results obtained, understanding the concept of experimental class students is higher than the understanding of the control class concept with an average score of conceptual understanding of experimental class students 73.69 including the moderate category and the concept of control class control scores 47.41 with very low categories . Based on the results of inferential analysis using the T-test , the significant value is 0,000 <0,05 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students' understanding of the concept after applying the TWA learning model and conventional learning.Key Words: TWA Model, Concept Understanding, Pressure

Abstract: Simpang Perak Jaya village subdistrict Kerinci kanan district Siak is transmigration villages, which are Transmigration Settlement Unit (UPT) Settlement Unit VII (SP) 7 region of Buatan Inti Indo Sawit Subur (IIS) that is included in the Office of the Ministry of Transmigration Dumai in region Bengkalis subistrict of Siak. Under district expansion according The Constituion Number 53 , 1999 about Siak District formation, and then Simpang Perak Jaya village under Kerinci Kanan Subsdistrict Siak District jurisdiction. This research have purpose for understanding (1) To determine the development of community education Simpang Kanan Perak Jaya Kerinci Subdistrict Siak Regency (1993-2014). (2) To knowing amount of of students who that have school in simpang perak jaya village (1993-2014). (3) To determine the number of educators in Simpang Perak Jaya jaya village (4) To determine the number of educational facilities in Simpang Perak Jaya village. (5) To determine the factors that influence the development of education in Simpang perak jaya village (1993-2014). This research use descriptive qualitative method with history approach and data accumulation including interview, litterature and documentation. Abstract

Budidaya tanaman jagung dengan pendekatan sistem agroforestri mempunyai peluang yang besar dalam meningkatkan produksi jagung dan pendapatan masyarakat. Perakitan jagung yang toleran naungan merupakan pendekatan dalam penentuan kultivar adaptif. Seleksi jagung di bawah naungan perlu dilakukan untuk menyediakan kultivar unggul adaptif untuk sistem agroforestri. Penelitian dilakukan di Jatinangor pada Mei – Juli 2014. Bahan penelitian terdiri dari 32 genotip jagung potensial. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok diulang 2 kali. Penelitian dilaksanakan di bawah naungan paranet dengan keteduhan 35%. Analisis varians dilanjutkan dengan uji rata-rata bergerombol Scott-Knott, analisis kluster, dan biplot principal component analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 32 genotip jagung yang diuji mempunyai keragaman pada karakter jumlah daun, diameter batang, panjang ruas, panjang daun, luas daun, indeks luas daun, bobot brangkasan basah, dan bobot brangkasan kering. Setiap karakter terbagi menjadi 2 sampai dengan 12 kelompok. Genotip jagung pada naungan terbagi menjadi 4 kelompok. Respon genotip menyebar ke dalam 6 sektor dan karakter menyebar pada 4 sektor. Terdapat dua karakter yang menjadi penciri khusus di bawah naungan, yaitu panjang daun dan indeks luas daun yang menjadi ciri terpilihnya 16 genotip potensial di bawah naungan. Kata kunci : agroforestri, jagung, naungan, seleksi, multivariat

Abstract

Background: Gross motor skills are the ability to move limbs that involve nerves, bones, and muscles, to perform certain activities (balance standing, walking, running, and jumping). To be able to do this, a person needs a normal body structure including the foot. A person will experience obstacles when the foot has a structural abnormality, one of which is the flat foot. Flat foot is a condition where the foot does not have a normal arch / flat foot. One of the treatments performed on flat foot sufferers is by giving foot orthosis in the form of Medial Arch Support. Medial arch support is a tool used to improve stability and improve walking function. Methods: According to a preliminary study conducted at SDN 1 Tohudan there were 47 students from grades 3 to 6 who experienced flat foot. This is known from the results of early detection of flat foot carried out at SDN 1 Tohudan. The approach method to be chosen is (1) Assessment for early detection of flat foot conditions, (2) health promotion by training for students, parents, and teachers to increase knowledge about flat foot problems that have an impact on children's gross motor skills so it needs to be done. intervention with the use of medial arch support, with the aim of improving students' gross motor skills. Results: After community service activities run, the understanding of students, parents, and teachers who are the targets / targets in this activity gets better, they become better at understanding the basics of flat foot, which results in a decrease in gross motor skills and increasingly realizes the importance of handling it by using medial arch support. Conclusions: The implementation of community service activities can increase the knowledge of students, teachers and parents about the effect of using medial arch support on the gross motor skills of students with flat foot.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the application of SRI (System of Rice Intensification) method in Pematang Setrak Village, to analyze farmer attitude toward SRI (System of Rice Intensification) method and to know the influence of socio-economic characteristics of farmers (age, education,  number of dependents  and  land area) on farmers attitude in the application of SRI (System of Rice Intensification) method. The method used is descriptive method and multiple linear analysis. From the research results obtained: 37.50% and 35%, the attitude of farmers strongly agree and agree with the implementation of this method of SRI means that rice farmers in the village of Pematang Setrak Teluk Mengkudu Sub district Serdang Berdagai district accept and give a positive attitude towards the application of SRI Method (System of Rice Intensification). From the multiple regression analysis obtained R-Square value of 0.816, it identifies that simultaneously the attitude of farmers affected by age, education, duration of farming, the number of dependents, and the land area of 81.6%, and the remaining 18.4% influenced by other factors outside variables studied. While partially tested the variables that affect the attitude of farmers are age variables, the number of dependents, and land area whereas education and duration of farming does not affect the attitude of farmers in the application of SRI method.Keyword :  Rice, SRI Method, attitude of farmer

Abstract

This research examines the connection between economic growth, education level, government expenditure, and open unemployment in Medan City. This research utilized annual time series data for Medan from 1998 to 2021. This research analysis method employs ECM (Error Correction Model) to comprehend the impact of long-term and short-term predictions processed by Eviews 9 software. According to the research findings, long-term and short-term projections of economic growth, education level, and accessible unemployment have a significant negative impact on poverty levels in the city of Medan. On the other hand, long-term and short-term government spending positively impact the poverty level in Medan City, although the effect is not significant. Based on the result of this research, the Medan City Government should enhance its oversight of the government's budget allocation in the context of reducing poverty in the city of Medan. In addition, the Medan City Government should concentrate its efforts on providing employment opportunities and utilizing competency-based certification and training to decrease unemployment, thereby contributing to reducing poverty in Medan City.

Abstract

Jagung manis merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang memiliki sumber karbohidrat tinggi. Kebutuhan komoditas ini setiap tahunnya terus meningkat. Tetapi, di sisi lain produksinya masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi jagung manis. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah memanfaatkan teknologi nuklir. Pemanfaaatan teknik nuklir pada tanaman jagung antara lain untuk perbaikan sifat genetik varietas melalui mutasi dengan iradiasi sinar gamma. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan galur-galur mutan jagung manis yang memiliki karakter daya hasil tinggi dengan metode diiradiasi sinar gamma. Penelitian dilaksanakan di PAIR BATAN dan di lahan milik PT. Pertani pada Mei 2019 sampai September 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah galur jagung manis yang terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu G1 (MS-02), G2 (MS-04), G3 (MS-06), G4 (MS-07), G5 (MS-08). Faktor kedua adalah dosis iradiasi sinar gamma yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu M0 (0 gray), M1 (100 gray), M2 (200 gray), M3 (300 gray), sehingga terdapat 20 perlakuan. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa galur jagung manis dengan iradiasi dosis sinar gamma memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Secara umum, perlakuan G1M1 (galur MS-02 + dosis sinar gamma 100 gray) memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada parameter hasil panen 3,49 kg/plot, bobot tongkol dengan kelobot sebesar 214,25 gram, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot sebesar 154,70 gram, diameter tongkol tanpa kelobot 4,43 cm, dan panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot 16,88 cm. Sedangkan perlakuan G5M0 (galur MS-08 + dosis sinar gamma tanpa radiasi (0 gray)) memberikan pengeruh terbaik terhadap diameter tongkol dengan kelobot 4,98 cm dan  panjang tongkol dengan kelobot 27,73 cm. Dan perlakuan G5M3 (galur MS-08 + dosis sinar gamma 300 gray) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter kandungan gula yaitu 18,500Brix.
