Abstract

Abstact: The background of this research based on a proverb saying that there is nothing new under the sun. Literary work will experience development and transforming. The problem is how the transformation of kaba text is into drama manuscript of Wisran Hadi’s Cindua Mato. The purpose of this researh is to reveal and explain the transformation of kaba Cindua Mato into drama manuscript of Wisran Hadi’s Cindua Mato. The benefits of this research are divided into theoretical, practical and educative. The used method of this research is the qualitative method which describe the descriptive data. The use d data collecting technique is library studies. The data resource of this research is kaba Cindua Mato written by Dt.Syamsuddin St. Radjo Endah and drama manuscript of Wisran Hadi’s Cindua Mato. The technique of data validity is using triangulation which is involving three validator. The whole data found by the writer from cindua mato drama manuscript are 76 data, and 48 data from Syamsuddin St. Radjo Endah’s kaba Cindua Mato as reference of transformation of a basic data(hipogram). Those data are clarified into three aspects of intrinsic element(character, background, theme) and event conflict which is presented in every plot of the story. Then again, each of data is clarified into three intertexttual categories(negation, affirmation, inovation). Those data are : in character aspect, there are negations with 4 data, affirmation with 0 data and inovations with 2 data. In background aspect, there are negation with 1 data , affirmation with 0 data and inovation with 5 data. In story conflict aspect, there are negations with 11 data, affirmations with 10 data, and inovations with 42 data.Key Words: Transformation, kaba, drama script.

Abstract

The background of this research was to promote the application of politeness language as a form of substantial local wisdom in addition to enrich the literary vocabulary that was novel. The formulation of this problem was the objective of this research was to analyze novel character of language politeness Megat work Rida K Liamsi. Further, the benefits of this research that was practical and theoretical in term of contrubution. The basic theory of politeness language was used and the nature of the novel. This type of research was qualitative. The method used was descriptive analytic method. Data collection techniques was documentation and librarianship in analyzing the words, phrases, clauses, or sentences that express politeness language speaking. Technique of data analysis performed by reading to concluded the results. The results of this research were identified as many as 35 maksim wisdom; 14 conspiracy, 13 awards, 13 generosity, 4 simplicity, and 9 sympathy respectively.

Abstract

Abstract : The background of this study was taken by Nafiah Al-Ma'Rab's Five Meter Earth Story poetry on a collection of poems and short stories on History of Smoke by Hening Wicara, Ahmad Ijazi, Bambang Kariyawan Ys, Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab et al. The problem taken is what is the moral message contained in Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab's Five Meter Earth Story poem? This study aims to describe the moral message found in Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab's Five Meter Earth Story poem. The benefits of this study are divided into three types, namely; theoretical, practical and didactic. The method in this study used is qualitative research that describes descriptive data. The data collection technique used is the technique of studying in a book collection of poems and short stories on History of Smoke, and taken from one of the poems entitled Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab's Bumi Lima Meter Story. The data source in this study was taken from a book collection of poems and short stories on History of Smoke. The overall data that the authors found in this study were 23 data, the data were classified into three categories namely; (1) the author's moral message to himself, (2) the author's moral message to other humans, and (3) the author's moral message to his God. The data is; (1) the author's moral message to himself as much as 6 data, (2) the author's moral message to other humans as much as 12 data, and (3) the author's moral message to God as much as 5 data.Key Words: Moral Message, Five Meter Earth Story Poetry.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is titled Intertextual Study of Folk Stories with Balada Rakyat. The background of this research is that researchers want to see how the intrinsic elements of folklore are compared as hypary text with ballad poetry as a new form of literary work. The aim of this study is to find out the comparison of intrinsic elements of folktales with ballad seal. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that describes and describes the results of the research carried out. According to research, there are five ballad dens with fewer stanzas than the number of paragraphs of folklore. While in the other three ballads poems the number of verses of ballad poetry is greater than the number of paragraphs of folklore. In numbers, there are four ballad dens that some folklore figures do not bring up, while the other four ballad dens maintain the existence of folklore figures. The background of folklore and ballad poetry has some differences, including the reduction of the background. While there is no difference in characterizations, themes and perspectives between folktales and ballad poems.Key Words : Comparison, intertextual, folklore, ballad poetry, intrinsic elements

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the art of jikea gebano in Baturijal sub-district Peranap Indragiri Hulu Regency. Jikea gebano is an art owned by the Baturijal community which is often performed in the from of wedding events, circumcisions, and other official events aimed at entertaining the people of Baturijal. this jikea gebano is played by singing berzanji and 5 rhymes while hitting a drum. As for the objectives to be achieved in this study is to describe the interest and audience response to the jikea gebano performance and describe the relationship between the level of understnding of the text to informant and audience. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data analysis is done by flow technique, which begins with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that there were many changes that were felt in the past with the present, both in terms of informant, audience, and texst. Seen from informant, there used to be female informant but now there are no more. In terms of the audience, there were a lot of spectator because the jikea gebano is only the only entertainment in Baturijal buat now the demand is reduced because now there are many other entertainment such as single organ, salung dangdut, and kuda lumping. When viewed in terms of text, many of the jikea texts that were sung today have been cut into pieces compared to the past.Key Words: Jikea gebano, Baturijal's artistry.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the scientific approach to writing skills of pantun vii grade students at smp terbuka bukit raya pekanbaru. The method used is a quantitative research method with an experimental research model. The design of this research is one group secret-postest design. Sampling techniques using simple random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 52 people in two classes. Data collection techniques are test techniques. Tests are used to assess students' writing skills. Data analysis techniques used the liliefors normality test, then tested the hypothesis using the wilcoxon test. The results show that there is an influence on the application of the scientific approach to the writing skills of pantun students of vii grade students at smp terbuka bukit raya pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research departs from teaching instruction in the pantun ulu jambau. The problem that arises is what is the point of teaching that is found in the pantun ulu jambau. The aim of this study is to describe the teaching points found in the pantun ulu jambau. The benefits of this study are divided into three, namely theoretical, practical and educational. The research method used is a qualitative method that describes descriptive data. Data collection techniques used are literature studies and enriched with interviews. The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive method. The data sources in this research are pantun ulu jambau by datuk patido ajo. The validity technique of data using persistence techniques in observing perseverance in meaning means searching for interpretations consistently in various ways, namely by acting on the psychic resource person and with a constant analysis process. reference material pantun ulu jambau works datuk patido ajo researchers focus on teaching points (obedience to 9 data leaders), (deliberation and consensus 4 data), (modesty 4 data), (utilizing time 4 data). Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study was entitled “Sinestesia in the Selected Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan”. The problems which was studied are; (1) How is the changes of Sinestesia patterns in the Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan?, (2) What are the functions of sinestesia in the Selected Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan?, and (3) What are the meanings of sinestesia in the Selected Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan?. This study aimed to describe; (1) the changes of Sinestesia patterns in the Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan, (2) the functions of sinestesia in the Selected Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan, (3) the meanings of sinestesia in the Selected Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan. The method of this study was descriptive. The data were collected through documentations and literature views. The findings found that the changes of sinestesia patternsin the Selected Collection of Short Story of Riau Post 2012 dari Seberang Perbatasan consist of; (1) from the sight sense to the hearing sense were 18 data, (2) from the smell sense to the sight sense were 3 data, (3) from the smell sense to the hearing sense were 1 data, (4) from the touch sense to the sight sense were 19 data, (5) from the touch sense to the hearing sense were 17 data, (6) from the taste sense to the sight sense were 18 data, from the taste sense to the hearing sense were 16 data. In term of functions; (1) creating certain images which produce the effects in clarifying the ideas to be presented were 78 data, (2) highlighting the images of some events were 11 data, and (3) the images of interesting events were 3 data. The uses of grammatical meanings were 92 data.Key Words: sinestesia, short story.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to identify the work ethic of characters in novel Rantau 1 Muara By A. Fuadi. Novel Rantau 1 Muara By A. Fuadi tells a lot about the ethos of the work done by figures, so according the author that needs to be researched. Problems in this research is about the work ethic aspect that is divided three, namely: (1) aspect of interpersonal skill shown by 17 characters, (2) aspect of inisiative shown by 16 characters, and (3) aspect of reliable shown by 7 characters. The reference theory is advanced by Hill and Gregory. The type of reasearch is qualitative with analysis descriptive method. Based on research result, the researcher found that 186 datas, thats: (1) 87 datas on interpersonal skill of aspect, (2) 74 datas on inisiative of aspek, and (3) 25 datas on reliable of aspect. So, the most data is on interpersonal skill of aspect and more specially is on help of character . A trait would help ease the burden of others. Based on research can be concluded that the characters in novel Rantau 1 Muara by A. Fuadi has characters that show work ethic. Researcher suggest research about work ethic need to be developed further, becaused of the work ethic in the novel can serve as a role model.Key Word : work ethic, novel, characters

ABSTRACT: This study discusses character education anything contained in the story of Usman Awang Ramli Mahmuda version? This study aimed to describe eany character education contained in the story of Usman Awang Ramli Mahmuda version. Sources of data in this study is the story of Usman Awang Ramli Mahmuda version. The method used in this research is descriptive analisis.Teknik data collection in this study using the technique of character education documentation contained in the story of Usman Awang Ramli Mahmuda version.
