Abstract

This study aims to uncover the relationship between the quality of class interaction in learning activities and student thriving in the two methods (hybrid and blended) used in the past year. Using a sample of 112 students selected through a purposive approach, data were collected using a questionnaire at the end of the semester in 2021/2022. Partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with multi-group analysis (MGA) was applied to test the model. The study's results provide empirical support regarding the relationship between classroom interaction quality and student perceived thrive (vitality and learning) in both learning modes. Finally, a comparison of the effects based on MGA identified that the quality of classroom interaction was more effective on vitality than blended learning compared to hybrid learning. While regarding perceived learning, the dominant effect of classroom interaction is more effective in blended learning mode.

Abstract

In response to an empirical study on scarcity cues in COVID-19, the present study offers a model of the relationship between scarcity cues and revisit intention by integrating perceived value and sensory brand experiences (SBE). The moderation mediation model (MOD MED) was tested using 426 respondents who were university students in Jakarta. The results of the analysis show that scarcity cues have a negative impact on perceived value and revisit intention. The process model has been confirmed through the role of perceived value in the scarcity cues relationship. SBE in this study has an essential role as a bearing for the negative effect of scarcity cues on perceived value and revisit intention. Hence, this study offers a theoretical contribution to the proposed model and a practical one regarding the effectiveness of "scarcity cues" marketing strategies. Abstract

This article describes the implementation of vocational training in the export-import sector where the material is more focused on exports for small and medium-sized businesses who want to increase their practical knowledge in the fields mentioned above. The practical knowledge that will be given to participants is from how participants as potential exporters are given knowledge including how to start an import-export business, knowledge about products and finding markets for export destination countries, preparing export documents, and finally how to process for sending theirs export goods. For the learning is in the form of a seminar with direct face to face between the participants and the facilitator. As for the learning method, the emphasis is on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge, as well as cases and providing many opportunities for participants to tell about the products to be exported, preparations and what obstacles were experienced by participants in starting their exports. That way participants will better understand the process and procedures directly. The expected result of this vocational training is that participants not only gain adequate knowledge of export and import but also directly practice it on the products they have produced in order to be able to export to the markets of the targeted countries. As for maximizing the achievement of these targets, the Ministry of Cooperatives must facilitate a process of mentoring participants either directly, for example by forming a group of similar business groups accompanied by a facilitator, or indirectly, namely by forming a whats-up group or providing zoom facilities in communicating and consulting. Key Words: Export import, Facilitator, learning methode, target achievment.
