Abstract

This study aims to solve the mathematical model of anaemia disease numerically using the Runge-Kutta fourth-order method. The mathematical model used is a SAR model in the form of a system of differential equations that includes the number of susceptible populations (S), anaemic populations (A), and recovered human populations (R) as initial values. This model is analysed and simulated with the values of µ, α, β, ε, π as parameters and carried out as many as several iterations with an interval time or h= 0.5 months. The initial values given are S0 = 12881,  A0 = 129, R0 = 129. The simulation results in the first iteration are the rate of susceptible population (S) = 12754 , anaemic population (A) = 128 and recovered population (R) = 192 . In the second iteration the rate of susceptible population (S) = 12630, anaemic population (A) = 126 and recovered population (R) = 254 . From the results obtained it can be concluded that the rate of susceptible population and anaemic population has decreased, while for the recovered population has increased.

Abstract

The Influence of Parents' Socioeconomic Status on the Learning Outcomes of 4th Grade Students at UPT SPF SDN Baddoka, Makassar City. This research aimed to determine the influence of parents' socioeconomic status on the learning outcomes of 4th-grade students at UPT SPF SDN Baddoka, Makassar City. The study used a quantitative research design with an ex post facto type of research. The population of this study consists of all students in class IVa at UPT SPF SDN Baddoka, Makassar City, totaling 28 students, while the sample comprises 20 students from class IVa using a non-random sampling technique (purposive sampling). Data collection techniques and instruments used are questionnaires and documentation, in the form of student learning outcomes, to identify the influence of parent's socioeconomic status on students' learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis test). The result of the t-test calculation shows a significant value of parent's socioeconomic status at 0.003 < 0.05 (3.025 > 2.101), which means that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, indicating that there is an influence of parent's socioeconomic status on the learning outcomes of 4th-grade students at UPT SPF SDN Baddoka, Makassar City. In conclusion, parent's socioeconomic status has a positive and significant influence on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pengembangan komoditas unggulan berbasis kawasan di Sulawesi Selatan masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan struktural, antara lain lemahnya koordinasi antar pelaku usaha dalam rantai nilai, keterbatasan akses terhadap teknologi dan permodalan, serta belum optimalnya dukungan infrastruktur wilayah. Kondisi tersebut berimplikasi pada belum maksimalnya kinerja rantai nilai komoditas unggulan dari hulu hingga hilir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis rantai nilai dalam pengembangan komoditas unggulan berbasis kawasan di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan fokus pada komoditas hasil perkebunan dan bahan pangan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis rantai nilai, di mana setiap aktivitas diberi bobot untuk memperoleh total nilai rantai, yang selanjutnya disajikan dalam bentuk matriks kombinasi aktivitas primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas utama dalam rantai nilai komoditas unggulan berbasis kawasan di Sulawesi Selatan berada pada kategori baik, dengan nilai aktivitas primer sebesar 4,4 dan aktivitas sekunder sebesar 4. Penilaian tertinggi dengan nilai 5 (sangat baik) terdapat pada aktivitas barang masuk serta pemasaran dan penjualan, yang berperan penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan aliran produk dari produsen hingga konsumen. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan infrastruktur wilayah pendukung produksi, peningkatan akses permodalan dan kapasitas sumber daya manusia masyarakat produsen plasma, serta pengendalian distribusi lahan dan jaminan kualitas produk dalam kerangka pengembangan komoditas unggulan berbasis kawasan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Make a Match cooperative learning model, using Flash Cards, in improving fourth-grade students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics. Data were obtained through a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design involving 29 fourth-grade students at Kapasa Public Elementary School in Makassar City. The research instruments consisted of a learning outcome test to measure cognitive aspects and a questionnaire to assess student learning interest. Data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test to compare scores before and after the treatment. The analysis results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores for both interest and learning outcomes, with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. This difference confirms that the applied learning model positively influences student engagement and learning outcomes. The main findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the Make a Match model, using Flash Cards, is effective in creating a more active and enjoyable learning environment, and significantly improving fourth-grade students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to describe the communication strategies used by Islamic social organizations, NU, Muhammadiyah, and Al-Irsyad, in strengthening Islam wasathiyah in the city of Surabaya. Method - Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach and using in-depth interviews with Islamic organizational figures. Result - The research identifies five key strategies of da'wah communication: an integrated cultural strategy, a curriculum-based educational strategy, a social synergy strategy, a media-based strategy, and a collaborative strategy. Implication – This study could encourage the activists of da’wah within Islamic organizations in Indonesia to a synergize their approach in disseminating wasathiyah Islam teachings as well as inclusive religious understanding. Originality/Value - The novelty of this study lies in the up-to-date description of the dynamics of Islamic organizations’ da’wah communication strategies in Surabaya, particularly to strengthen Islam wasathiyah. Moreover, this study led to the discovery of “a synergistic moderate da'wah communication strategy”, which proposes that harmony between Islamic social organizations’ approach to disseminating moderate da'wah messages will create an inclusive religious understanding, thereby strengthening wasathiyah Islam in society. *** Tujuan  - Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan strategi komunikasi dakwah organisasi sosial keislaman dalam memperkuat  Islam wasathiyah di Kota Surabaya. Metode - Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, pendekatan fenomenologi, dan wawancara mendalam dilakukan kepada para tokoh dari ketiga organisasi keagamaan. Hasil - Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi dakwah organisasi sosial keislaman  dalam memperkuat Islam wasathiyah di kota Surabaya mencakup beberapa strategi yaitu; strategi kultural terintegrasi, strategi pendidikan berbasis kurikulum, strategi sinergi sosial, strategi  melalui media, dan strategi kolaborasi. Implikasi– Penelitian ini dapat mendorong para pegiat dakwah antar organisasi sosial keagamaan di Indonesia untuk melakukan pendekatan komunikasi dakwah yang sinergis dalam upaya menyebarluaskan ajaran Islam wasathiyah sekaligus pemahaman keagamaan yang inklusif. Orisinalitis/Nilai – Kebaruan studi ini terletak pada deskripsi terkini tentang dinamika strategi komunikasi dakwah organisasi sosial keagamaan di Surabaya, khususnya dalam memperkuat Islam wasathiyah. Lebih lanjut, studi ini menghasilkan temuan "strategi komunikasi dakwah moderat bersinergi", dengan proposisi bahwa keselarasan antara pendekatan Ormas Islam dalam menyebarkan pesan dakwah moderat akan menciptakan pemahaman keagamaan yang inklusif, sehingga memperkuat Islam wasathiyah di masyarakat.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of character education in the implementation of Sangu Lirboyo, a cashless system at the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in Kediri. As the largest salaf Islamic boarding school in Indonesia, Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School not only maintains the tradition of classical Islamic knowledge, but also integrates modern technology to improve efficiency and transparency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, including observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research findings show that the implementation of Sangu Lirboyo is not only aimed at improving the efficiency of financial transactions, but also as a means of character education for students. Through this system, students are taught the values ​​of honesty, responsibility, and discipline in managing finances and permits. Guardians of students can monitor students' expenses and activities through digital applications, thus encouraging transparency and accountability.

Abstract

Sebagai ilmu pengetahuan, ilmu dakwah memiliki paradigma dan teoriyang memungkinkan ilmu dakwah tersebut berkembang. Ada limaparadigma ilmu dakwah yang dapat dikaji lebih lanjut adalahparadigma faktor, paradigma sistem, paradigma interpretif, paradigmadevelopmentalisme, dan paradigma partisipatoris. Dari paradigmatersebut kemudian dapat dikembangkan teorinya berbasis pada teoriteorisosiologi. Di antara teori tersebut, misalnya adalah teorifenomenologi dakwah, teori konstruksi sosial dakwah, teori dramaturgidakwah, teori hermeneutika dakwah, teori tindakan komunikatifdakwah, teori etnometodologi dakwah dan sebagainya. Melaluipendekatan sosiologis terhadap fakta atau realitas dakwah tersebut,maka ilmu dakwah akan dapat berkembang secara lebih cepat. Kedepanharus dipikirkan tentang pengembangan lebih lanjut tentang sosiologi  dakwah, psikologi dakwah, antropologi dakwah, komunikasi dakwah dengan memanfaatkan pola pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan berbasis pada integrasi ilmu, yaitu fenomena dakwah sebagai sasaran kajian dan memanfaatkan ilmu lain sebagai pendekatan.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia have a significant role to play in producing a young generation with the character to achieve this nation's ideals. Education character will only be formed with support from various parties. Therefore, the role of schools, either formal or non-formal (Islamic boarding schools), is very decisive in achieving that goal. This study aims to describe the character of the Islamic boarding school students (santri) and the inculcation of Islamic morality in the santri who are in the wrong Islamic boarding school in Indonesia, namely the Syaichona Moh Islamic Boarding School. Cholil Bangkalan is part of the contribution of Islamic boarding schools in building a developed and civilized country. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods: interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis of Miles and Huberman models found that planting Islamic characters applied in the cottage is integrated with the obligations, prohibitions, and sanctions for those who break the rules. Efforts to instil this character are applied in students' religious activities (ubudiyah), pesantren, and school programs. Then from the efforts to teach the Islamic personality, students are formed religious education which is built on the vision and mission of the pesantren and is strengthened by all shoulder cuttings in the boarding school environment.

Abstract

The dichotomy of science has been going on for a long time, resulting in knowledge originating from Islamic civilization and Western civilization. This dichotomy ultimately requires scientific integration in various scientific disciplines and educational institutions. Whereas the source of all knowledge comes from God. The purpose of this article is to find a meeting point for the epistemology of Islamic scholarship (al-Qur'an) and the West so that in the end there is no dichotomy of knowledge. This research is normative because it examines the texts of Islamic and Western civilizations to find a meeting point for the scientific epistemology developed by the two civilizations. The results showed that the development pattern of scientific epistemology in the West tended to be dominated by reason and sensory experience (rationalism and empiricism). however, the last few periods of scientific epistemology in the West have developed intuitive methods that ultimately minimize or at least not mainstream the roles of reason and sense experience. This concept is similar to the Islamic epistemology system which carries reason (burhani), senses (bayani), and heart ('irfani).
