Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress, workload, and work environment on teacher performance at Tri Karya Sunggal School, Deli Serdang Regency. The background of this study is based on the importance of the role of teachers in improving the quality of education, which is greatly influenced by the psychological conditions and work environment they experience. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach. Samples were taken purposively from 50 permanent teachers at Tri Karya Sunggal School. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of each independent variable on teacher performance. The results of the analysis showed that work stress, workload, and work environment simultaneously had a significant effect on teacher performance. Partially, work stress had a negative and significant effect, workload had a negative but not significant effect, while the work environment had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. These findings indicate that improving teacher performance requires attention to managing work stress and creating a conducive work environment. This study recommends that schools conduct workload management evaluations and build psychosocial support systems for educators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Human Resource Quality, Leadership, and Employee Motivation on Performance Achievement, with Sustainable Strategy serving as an intervening variable at the East Palm Oil Mill (PKS East) of PTPN IV Regional II. The problem addressed in this study is the suboptimal performance achievement of employees, which is influenced by the quality of human resources, leadership, work motivation, and the implementation of sustainable strategies within the organization. The research employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of PKS East PTPN IV Regional II. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The analysis included outer model testing, inner model testing, and both direct and indirect hypothesis testing. The results indicate that Leadership does not have a significant effect on Performance Achievement, as evidenced by a T-statistic value of 1.308 and a P-value of 0.096. However, Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Strategy, with a T-statistic value of 3.829 and a P-value of 0.000. Human Resource Quality also does not significantly affect Performance Achievement, with a T-statistic value of 0.354 and a P-value of 0.362, but it has a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Strategy, with a T-statistic value of 2.393 and a P-value of 0.009. Employee Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Performance Achievement, with a T-statistic value of 3.527 and a P-value of 0.000, and also positively and significantly affects Sustainable Strategy, with a T-statistic value of 2.678 and a P-value of 0.004. Furthermore, Sustainable Strategy has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on Performance Achievement, with a T-statistic value of 4.592 and a P-value of 0.000. The indirect effect analysis shows that Sustainable Strategy significantly mediates the influence of Leadership on Performance Achievement, with a T-statistic value of 2.629 and a P-value of 0.004. In addition, Sustainable Strategy significantly mediates the influence of Human Resource Quality on Performance Achievement, with a T-statistic value of 2.009 and a P-value of 0.023, and also mediates the influence of Employee Motivation on Performance Achievement, with a T-statistic value of 2.698 and a P-value of 0.004. Therefore, Sustainable Strategy plays an important role in improving employee Performance Achievement while strengthening the effects of Leadership, Human Resource Quality, and Employee Motivation on organizational performance. The findings indicate that organizational success is determined not only by the direct influence of human resource quality, leadership, and work motivation but also by the organization's ability to effectively implement sustainable strategies.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the home-based frozen food sector have experienced significant growth along with changes in consumer behavior that favor practical and long-lasting food products. However, this growth has not been fully supported by the strengthening of internal organizational capacity, particularly in terms of organizational commitment among MSME actors. This study aims to examine the role of organizational commitment of home-based frozen food MSME actors in facing capital constraints and digital marketing challenges. The research employs a literature study approach by reviewing relevant academic sources, including books, national and international journal articles, and official government reports. The findings indicate that organizational commitment, encompassing affective, continuance, and normative commitment, plays a crucial role in maintaining consistency, resilience, and business sustainability among home-based frozen food MSMEs. The main challenges faced by MSME actors include limited capital, high operational costs, and restricted access to formal financing. Meanwhile, digital marketing presents a strategic opportunity to expand market reach, although its implementation is still hindered by low digital literacy and limited resources. This study concludes that strengthening organizational commitment is a key internal factor that enhances the adaptability of home-based frozen food MSMEs in addressing capital challenges and adopting digital marketing strategies, thereby supporting long-term competitiveness and business sustainability.
