The sample size was 71 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula, with purposive sampling as the sampling technique. This study was conducted in 2025. The data obtained from the questionnaires were processed using SPSS 24.0 with multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that human resource development had a regression coefficient of 0.306, a t value of 3.220, and a significance value of 0.002; leadership had a regression coefficient of 0.369, a t value of 3.905, and a significance value of 0.000; and work discipline had a regression coefficient of 0.288, a t value of 2.987, and a significance value of 0.004. The F value was 236.992 with a significance value of 0.000. These results indicated that human resource development, leadership, and work discipline partially and simultaneously had positive and significant effects on the performance of civil servant employees at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of North Sumatra Province. Leadership was the most dominant variable affecting employee performance, with the highest standardized coefficient beta value of 0.382. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects of human resource development, organizational culture, and total participation on the performance of civil servant employees at the Regional Financial and Asset Agency of North Sumatra Province. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative method. The research population consisted of 95 civil servant employees, and the sample also included 95 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Primary data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires, and the results were processed using SPSS software version 24. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The results showed that human resource development, organizational culture, and total participation, both partially and simultaneously, had positive and significant effects on employee performance. Human resource development became the most dominant variable influencing employee performance, as it had the highest regression coefficient. The regression analysis produced the equation Y = 6.656 + 0.301X1 + 0.210X2 + 0.185X3 + e. The t-test results indicated that human resource development had a t-value of 3.771 with a significance value of 0.000. Organizational culture had a t-value of 2.695 with a significance value of 0.008, while total participation had a t-value of 2.941 with a significance value of 0.004. The F-test result showed an F-value of 102.138 with a significance value of 0.000. Hypotheses H1, H2, H3, and H4 were proven to be correct and acceptable, as the research findings were consistent with the proposed hypotheses. The coefficient of determination (adjusted R²) of 0.763 indicated that 76.3% of the variation in employee performance could be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining variation was explained by other variables not included in this research model. In addition, the strength of the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable was categorized as very strong, with a correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.878.

Abstract

This study was conducted at PT. Global Mitra Prima with the aim of analyzing the effects of training, communication, and work motivation on employee work productivity. The phenomenon observed in the company indicates that employee productivity in the sales department during the period 2018–2023 experienced an unstable downward trend, suggesting that not all employees were able to perform their duties productively. The population of this study consisted of 48 employees working at the company, and the sampling technique used was a saturated sampling method, resulting in a total sample of 48 respondents. The type of data used was primary data, while the data sources included secondary data. Data collection techniques comprised literature review, surveys, and observation. The data analysis techniques applied included multiple regression analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that training, communication, and work motivation, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity in carrying out their tasks. There is a very strong relationship between training and employee work productivity in performing tasks within the company. Employee productivity at the company can be explained by the variables of training, communication, and work motivation by 81.4%, while the remaining 18.6% is explained by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of work discipline, job satisfaction, and work environment on employee performance at the Regional Civil Service Police Unit and Fire and Rescue Department of Langkat Regency. This study applies a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 72 respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after passing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that work discipline, job satisfaction, and work environment individually have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneous testing also confirms that the three independent variables collectively have a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows that a substantial proportion of the variation in employee performance is explained by the proposed model. These findings provide empirical implications for human resource management in public sector organizations, particularly in improving employee performance through strengthened work discipline, enhanced job satisfaction, and improved work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Motivation on Employee Performance in the Marketing Sector at PT. Ingco Teknika Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method involving 40 employees as respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical formulas, namely by using the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS Version 23.0 program. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant influence partially on performance. This can be seen from the t-value of 4.947 which is greater than the t-table of 2.02 with a significance level of 0.000, thus, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The work environment has a positive and partially significant influence on performance. This can be seen from the t-value of 3.523 which is greater than the t-table of 2.02 with a significance level of 0.001, thus, H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Motivation has a positive and partially insignificant influence on performance. This can be seen from the t-value of 0,283 which is smaller than the t-table of 2.02 with a significance level of 0.779, thus, H3 is rejected and H0 is accepted. Leadership style, work environment and motivation have a significant influence simultaneously on performance. This can be seen from the F-value of 100.530 with a significance level of 0.000, thus, H4 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, job design, and work experience on employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections, North Sumatra. The problem in this study is the employee performance that has not been optimal, which is influenced by several factors such as transformational leadership, job design, work experience, and work discipline. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The population in this study consisted of all employees at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections, North Sumatra. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, in which the entire population was used as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results showed that job design had a positive and significant effect on work discipline and employee performance. Work discipline also had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on work discipline, but did not have a significant effect on employee performance. Work experience had a positive and significant effect on work discipline, but did not have a significant effect on employee performance. In addition, work discipline was able to mediate the influence of job design, transformational leadership, and work experience on employee performance.
