Abstract

Workshop "Penggunaan AI dalam Perancangan dan Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran serta Desain PPDB" dilaksanakan pada 18 Januari 2025 di Yayasan Miftahul Huda Grobogan yang melibatkan 30 peserta dari berbagai unit pendidikan, termasuk guru, ustadz/ustadzah, dan staf administrasi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan terkait metode prompting dan generate AI. Workshop ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) untuk memastikan pelaksanaan yang sistematis dan efektif. Pada tahap analisis, dilakukan identifikasi kebutuhan peserta yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar belum memiliki pengalaman dalam penggunaan AI untuk pembelajaran dan administrasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, tahap perancangan dilakukan dengan menyusun kurikulum yang mencakup teori dan praktik, serta pengembangan modul interaktif. Pada tahap pengembangan, materi pelatihan dibuat, termasuk panduan teknis dan alat evaluasi. Implementasi workshop mencakup pemaparan materi oleh ahli AI dan pendidikan, diskusi interaktif, serta praktik langsung menggunakan alat AI seperti Canva AI dan ChatGPT. Tahap terakhir, Evaluasi, dilakukan melalui pre-test, post-test, dan proyek mandiri peserta untuk mengukur efektivitas pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 80% peserta berhasil merancang media pembelajaran interaktif dan mengotomatisasi sistem PPDB menggunakan AI. Workshop ini tidak hanya meningkatkan literasi digital peserta tetapi juga memberikan wawasan baru yang dapat diterapkan dalam proses belajar-mengajar dan administrasi sekolah. Dengan pendekatan berbasis ADDIE, workshop ini memastikan bahwa setiap tahapan pelatihan berjalan terstruktur dan berorientasi pada hasil, sehingga dapat menjadi model dalam implementasi AI di lingkungan pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In order for graduates to be able to adapt in the competitive world of work, vocational education currently demands technical skills and global capabilities (6C). This study aims to analyze the effect of Factory learning on global capabilities (6C) and learning achievement of grade XII students in the Machining Practice training course at SMKN 1 Semarang. This is because, although the Learning Factory (TEFA) is designed as a learning model that integrates the world of work into schools, it still needs a comprehensive study on how it functions in shaping global capabilities and learning achievement. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto design and involved 86 students who were selected proportionally at random. Data were collected through a questionnaire to measure TEFA implementation and student proficiency globally. Furthermore, documentation of practical grades was used to measure learning achievement. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, and the Chi-Square normality test. The results showed that TEFA did not have a statistically significant impact on both variables, despite a descriptive increase in global proficiency (mean = 75.11) and learning achievement (from 7.35 to 8.73). However, there was a significant correlation between the two variables (r > 0.99). Ineffective TEFA implementation, such as limited production and industry partnerships, contributed to this ineffectiveness. This study makes an important contribution by demonstrating that TEFA's success depends not only on the model's adoption but also on its depth and authenticity in application, which forms technically and professionally talented graduates. ABSTRAKAgar lulusan mampu beradaptasi di dunia kerja yang kompetitif, pendidikan vokasi saat ini menuntut keterampilan teknis dan kemampuan global (6C). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran Pabrik terhadap kemampuan global (6C) dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII pada mata diklat Praktik Pemesinan di SMKN 1 Semarang. Ini karena, meskipun Teaching factory (TEFA) dirancang sebagai model pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan dunia kerja ke dalam sekolah, masih perlu dikaji secara menyeluruh tentang bagaimana ia berfungsi dalam membentuk kemampuan global dan prestasi belajar. Studi ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex-post facto dan melibatkan 86 siswa yang dipilih secara proporsional secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket untuk mengukur penerapan TEFA dan kemampuan siswa di seluruh dunia. Selain itu, dokumentasi nilai praktik digunakan untuk mengukur prestasi belajar. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, regresi linier sederhana, dan uji normalitas Chi-Square. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa TEFA tidak berdampak signifikan secara statistik terhadap kedua variabel tersebut, meskipun peningkatan deskriptif pada kemampuan global (mean = 75,11) dan prestasi belajar (dari 7,35 menjadi 8,73). Namun, ada korelasi yang signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut (r > 0,99). Tidak efektifnya penerapan TEFA, seperti keterbatasan produksi dan kemitraan industri, menyebabkan ketidakefektifan ini. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dengan membuktikan bahwa keberhasilan TEFA tidak hanya tergantung pada adopsi model, tetapi juga pada kedalaman dan keasliannya dalam penerapan, yang membentuk lulusan yang berbakat secara teknis dan profesional.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of motorcycle technician training based on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) in enhancing the competitiveness of the workforce in the automotive industry in specific areas. Although injection motorcycle technology has become the industry standard, a labor competency gap still hinders business. This study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design to collect data from 32 alums of UPT-BLK training in Grobogan Regency, using non-participatory observation, documentation, questionnaires, and literature reviews. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS. The results showed that the variables of Labor Needs (X1) and SKKNI Standard Injection Motorcycle Service (X2) contributed 95.5% to the Industrial World variable (Y). The value of the calculated F (21.399) is greater than the F of the table (2.69), and the significance of 0.045 is lower than 0.05. According to the t-test, Labor Needs had a positive and significant effect (t = 3.276; p = 0.082). On the other hand, SKKNI-standard service schemes show adverse effects, which require further investigation. This study demonstrates that SKKNI-based training is generally effective in enhancing the skills of technicians and addressing the gaps between vocational training and industrial needs. These results make a strategic contribution to the development of competency-based training policies and suggest that the curriculum be adapted to the needs of the job market in the current era of vehicles.

Abstract

This study investigates the enhancement of mechanical performance in recycled piston rings through strategic heat treatment. The research focuses on optimizing heat treatment parameters—including austenitizing temperatures (800°C, 850°C, and 900°C), holding times (1, 2, and 3 hours), and cooling media (water, oil, and air)—to restore the hardness of used piston rings to levels comparable to new ones. Experimental methods were employed to evaluate the effects of these variables on material hardness. Results show that a holding time of three hours significantly improved hardness, with the highest achieved value reaching 38.66 HRC—nearly matching that of new piston rings (39.94 HRC). These findings demonstrate that properly controlled heat treatment can effectively rejuvenate recycled piston rings, offering a viable pathway to improve resource efficiency and reduce metal waste in the automotive industry

Abstract

Tantangan yang semakin nyata dan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi ini harus disikapi dengan ketrampilan-ketrampilan yang terus menerus ditingkatkan khususnya di Tingkat Perguruan Tinggi. Dengan adanya peningkatan kompetensi ini maka akan mengikis ketertinggalan. Peningkatan kompetensi harus diupayakan secara bersama-sama dan harus merata disetiap unsur atau elemen sehingga menjadi sinergi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dan membekalinya saat mereka lulus nantinya. Selain itu meningkatkan kesejahteraan bagi keluarga yang kurang mampu melalui kegiatan service gratis. Harapannya kompetensi yang sudah dimiliki oleh mahasiswa dan pengalaman melaksanakan kegiatan service gratis di instansi dapat diteruskan Ketika mereka lulusa nantinya sehingga akan bermanfaat bagi sesama.

Abstract

The precipitation of barium sulfate (BaSO4) in industrial piping systems is a major problem because it causes blockage, decreased productivity, and structural damage, including pipe rupture. Although there has been progress in understanding the mechanism of BaSO4 formation, some elements, such as the interaction of tartaric acid with BaSO4 crystals, the best parameters for reducing scaling, and the effectiveness of gas hydrate inhibitors, are still not fully understood. The objectives of this study were to find out how tartaric acid and BaSO4 crystals interact, find the ideal parameters to prevent scale formation, and assess the effectiveness of scaling inhibition techniques using gas hydrate inhibitor and scaling theories. This study used a Box-Behnken experimental design in the laboratory to optimize the temperature, solution concentration, and tartaric acid additive. The test was carried out under laminar flow conditions with a flow rate of 30 mL/min. After that, the morphology and composition of the scale were analyzed by SEM-EDX and XRD. The main results of the study showed that, under ideal conditions, the addition of tartaric acid significantly prolonged the induction time and reduced the mass of BaSO4 scale by up to 50%. This study reached the main conclusion that tartaric acid functions well as an anti-scaling agent and that ideal parameters can be used to effectively prevent scaling. This study is very helpful in developing more efficient and sustainable BaSO4 scaling mitigation methods for industrial applications.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penambahan metanol pada pertalite dan remapping ECU terhadap performa sepeda motor Beat eSP 110cc. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil torsi terbaik pada ECU remapping 3% metanol 20% yaitu sebesar 9.77 N.m, (2) hasil daya terbaik pada ECU remapping 3% metanol 20% yaitu sebesar 5.12 HP, (3) hasil SFC tertinggi pada ECU remapping 3% metanol 20% yaitu sebesar 0.5086 L/HP.h, (4) emisi gas ECU standard dan 3 variasi remapping ECU yaitu remapping 1%, 2%, 3% dengan pengapian dimajukan 1 derajat menggunakan bahan bakar pertalite ditambah metanol 5%-20%. Pada karbonmonoksida (CO) mengalami penurunan sebesar 85.8%, sedangkan untuk hydrocarbon (HC) juga mengalami penurunan yaitu sebesar 33.9%, kemudian pada karbondioksida (CO2) mengalami kenaikan sebesar 31.4%, lalu untuk oksigen (O2) mengalami penurunan sebesar 32.3%.buang. Harga ekonomis bahan bakar, dengan kita menambahkan metanol 5% pada pertalite dapat memperoleh harga Rp.10.060 per liter dengan nilai oktan 110 RON.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengetahui pengaruh ketersediaan alat praktikum terhadap kompetensi melaksanakan pemeliharaan komponen, (2) mengetahui pengaruh tingkat ketercapaian pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi melaksakan pemeliharaan komponen, (3) mengetahui pengaruh ketersediaan alat praktikum dan ketercapaian pembelajaran kompetensi melaksanakan pemeliharaan komponen di SMK Yasiha Gubug tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang bersifat expost facto. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan dokumentasi dan angket. Populasi dan sampel sebanyak 80 siswa. Pengujian data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Uji persyaratan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji autokorelasi, uji multikolinieritas, dan uji heterokedastisitas. Sedangkan uji hipotesis data dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana, uji regresi ganda, uji T, uji F, uji R square (determinan) dengan menggunakan program pengolah data spss versi 24.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan (1) Ketersediaan Alat Praktik (X1) terhadap Kompetensi Pemeliharaan Komponen (Y) dalam kategori sangat setuju. (2) Ketercapaian Pembelajaran (X2) terhadap Kompetensi Pemeliharaan Komponen (Y) dalam kategori sangat setuju. (3) Terdapat pengaruh Ketersediaan Alat Praktik (X1) dan Ketercapaian Pembelajaran (X2) terhadap Kompetensi Pemeliharaan Komponen (Y) kelas XI TKRO di SMK Yasiha Gubug. Yang mana dibuktikan dari hasil uji F yang menunjukan nilai signifikansi (Sig) = 0,000 < Probabilitas 0,05 (5%) dan nilai Fhitung 27,574 > ttabel 1,41.

Abstract

Work motivation is an important component in improving the professionalism of vocational teachers who possess teacherpreneur characteristics. Teachers are required to have more than technical expertise to meet the demands of the workforce in the Industrial Era 4.0. They must also demonstrate creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of teachers’ work motivation and professionalism on the development of teacherpreneur characteristics. The research sample consisted of 264 productive teachers in the Automotive Vocational Technology field in Semarang City. The study employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research design. Path analysis and descriptive statistics were used to validate and analyze the questionnaire instruments. The results showed that work motivation had a significant direct effect on teacher professionalism (t = 4.69). The main conclusion is that increasing teachers’ work motivation positively contributes to the professional development of vocational teachers. This research highlights the importance of integrating entrepreneurial values into teacher development efforts within vocational education.

Abstract

The Development Of Digital Technology Has Introduced New Ethical Risks, Such As Polarization, Misinformation, And The Misuse Of Data, That Exacerbate The Moral Vulnerability Of Learners, Primarily Due To Technological Affordances Like Algorithms And Manipulative Interface Designs. In This Context, Traditional Value-Based Character Education Faces The Challenge Of Relevance If It Is Not Recontextualized. This Study Aims To (1) Analyze Three Key Digital Capacities: Cyber-Wisdom, Technomoral Resilience, And Digital Agency In Response To Bold Ethical Risks; (2) Identify The Need For The Transformation Of Traditional Values In Character Education; And (3) Design A Theoretical-Pedagogical Framework To Integrate Such Capacities Into The Curriculum. Through A Systematic Literature Study Of The 2015–2025 Period, Encompassing Literature From Google Scholar, Scopus, And Sinta, The Findings Reveal That These Three Capacities Represent A Contemporary Evolution Of Phronesis, Moral Virtues, And Individual Character Within The Aristotelian Tradition. Character Education Needs To Shift From A Normative-Affective Approach To A Reflective-Agency Model That Emphasizes Moral Autonomy, Digital Accountability, And Moral Imagination. This Research Contributes To The Reconceptualization Of Character Education Through The Integration Of Virtue Ethics And Technological Philosophy, While Offering A Framework For Curricular Implementation That Applies To The Context Of Indonesian Education In The Digital Era.
