Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa pada materi sistem gerak kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Wajo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi - Experiment dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA Semester Genap SMA Negeri 3 Wajo. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA 3. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda yang memiliki karakteristik soal HOTS sebanyak 20 butir soal. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai rata-rata post-test pada kelas inkuiri berada dalam kategori baik yaitu 80,3704 sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-tes pada kelas konvensional berada dalam kategori cukup dengan nilai 54,40. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t Test menunjukkan bahwa nilai model pembelajaran inkuiri signifikan dengan taraf 0,0016 < α yang artinya Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa pada materi sistem gerak kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Wajo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the google classroom application in improving the learning outcomes of class XI science students at SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. This research is a pre-experimental research using one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya. The sample in this study was class XI IPA 2 which amounted to 30 students. The technique of collecting data is through giving multiple choice tests before (pretest) and after (posttest). The analytical technique used is descriptive analysis and N-Gain test. The results showed that student learning outcomes using the google classroom application increased before and after treatment, from 62.00% to 89.17%. Based on the N-Gain test, student learning outcomes are in the medium (47%) and high (53%). This shows that learning using the google classroom application in biology learning is quite effective in improving the learning outcomes of class XI science students at SMA Negeri 1 Talaga Raya

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of Doangang Pattuik Pakrisik Battang as a Medicinal Media for the Rappolemba Village Community based on heuristic readings. This type is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study is Doangang Pattuik Pakrisik Battang which is the primary data used in the treatment process based on the informants. Riffaterre's Semiotics theory in this case heuristic reading is used to examine the text in Doangang Pattuik Pakrisik Battang to describe the meaning of the text Doangang Pattuik Pakrisik Battang. The collection techniques are data, data reduction, data presentation and then drawing conclusions. The object of this research is the text of Doangang Pattuik Pakrisik Battang which is analyzed based on the heuristic reading of Riffaterre's theory of Semiotics. The results of this study found that there were only six treatments analyzed based on heuristic readings showing that found in some words that were not linguistically structured then the addition of embedded words aimed to produce a meaning according to grammar in general which clarified the meaning to be conveyed.Keywords: Meaning, doangang pattuik pakrisik battang, Rifaterre Semiotics, Heuristics

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the role of SMADAP Karang Karuna in preparing character leaders in Pollewani Village, Tutar Subdistrict, Polewali Mandar Regency, Implementation of SMADAP Youth Organization work programs in preparing character leaders in Polewani Village, Tutar District, Polewali Mandar Regency, Barriers to SMADAP Youth Organizations in preparing leaders. Characterized in Pollewani Village, Tutar District, Polewali Mandar Regency and Constructing SMADAP Youth Organizations in preparing character leaders in Pollewani Village, Tutar District, Polewali Mandar Regency. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research by determining the number of informants consisting of 9 informants selected with the criteria of management informants and members of SMADAP youth organizations, local government, local BPD members, community leaders and youth leaders who live in Pollewani Village. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by the researcher went through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validation technique used is the addition of observations, increased persistence, triangulation, and member checks. The results showed that (1) the implementation of the SMADAP youth organization work program was still not running optimally because there was no work program in the field of human resource education and training that led to an increase in character values in preparing character leaders in Pollewani village, (2) Barriers This can be seen because the SMADAP youth organization's work program is unclear and does not have a program that leads to strengthening leadership character values. And external obstacles due to the lack of human resources for this SMADAP youth group have competencies related to leadership issues. (3) Constructing SMADAP youth groups in preparing leaders with character in the village of pollewani, namely collaborating with related parties with the local government and the community in the village of pollewani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan peran karang karuna SMADAP dalam menyiapkan pemimpin berkarakter di desa pollewani kecamatan tutar kabupaten polewali mandar, Pelaksanaan program kerja karang taruna SMADAP dalam menyiapkan pemimpin berkarakter di desa pollewani kecamatan tutar kabupaten polewali mandar, Hambatan karang taruna SMADAP dalam menyiapkan pemimpin berkarakter di desa pollewani kecamatan tutar kabupaten polewali mandar dan Mengkonstruksi karang taruna SMADAP dalam menyiapkan pemimpin berkarakter di Desa Pollewani Kecamatan Tutar kabupaten polewali mandar. Jenis penelitian ini menggunankan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan penentuan jumlah informan terdiri dari 9 informan yang dipilih dengan kriterian informan pengurus serta anggota karang taruna SMADAP, pemerintah setempat, anggota BPD setempat, tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh pemuda yang tinggal di Desa Pollewani. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah obervasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti melalui tiga tahapan kerja yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengabsahan data yang digunakan yakni perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan, triangulasi dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan program kerja karang taruna SMADAP masih kurang berjalan secara optimal disebabkan karena belum ada program kerja dibidang pendidikan dan pelatihan sumber daya manusia yang mengarah kepada penguatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam menyiapkan pemimpin berkarakter di desa Pollewani, (2) Hambatan utama ataupun internal karang taruna SMADAP dalam menyiapkan pemimpin berkarakter di desa pollewani kecamatan tutar kabupaten polewali mandar hal ini dapat dilihat karena program kerja dari karang taruna SMADAP ini yang tidak jelas dan tidak memiliki program yang mengarah kepada penguatan nilai-nilai karakter kepemimpinan. Dan hambatan eksternal karena kurangnya sumber daya manusia dari karang taruna SMADAP ini yang memiliki kompetensi yang terkait tentang masalah kepemimpinan. (3) Mengkonstruksi karang taruna SMADAP dalam menyiapkan pemimpin berkarakter didesa pollewani yakni melakukan kerja sama dengan pihak-pihak terkait pemerintah setempat dan masyarakat di desa pollewani.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal-soal biologi berkategori HOTS di SMA Negeri 1 Majene. Penelitian dilakukan secara daring pada masa pandemi covid-19 dengan menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Majene yang terdiri dari empat rombel kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak sehingga sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 39 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan tes hasil belajar berkategori HOTS. Karakteristik soal HOTS yang diberikan fokus pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal biologi berkategori HOTS yakni lebih kecil dari 0,05 (α < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal-soal biologi berkategori HOTS.

Abstract

Learning carried out by educators requires teaching materials. Electronic student worksheets or e-LKPD are one type of teaching material. This study examines the profile of learning biology with e-LKPD. The aim is to obtain an overview of the teaching and learning process and the problems faced by teachers on student worksheets in learning biology material at SMA South Sulawesi. The subjects of this study were 10 schools consisting of 10 teachers of biology subjects. The method used is a survey using a questionnaire and a checklist given to 10 high school teachers in South Sulawesi. The data were obtained by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the ownership of the LKPD in 10 Biology subject teachers in South Sulawesi is quite high, but the use of the electronic version of the LKPD is still not optimal. LKPD has a varied learning approach, students are motivated and play an active role in learning activities when using LKPD. The cognitive level of the learning objectives of the teacher LKPD is still relatively low, the formulation of objectives in the LKPD which has implications for the application of science process skills is still relatively low, and assignments in the teacher LKPD have not been maximized. The benefit of this research is that it can provide an overview of the learning process and the obstacles experienced by the teacher on the student worksheets.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a worksheet based on an integrated TPACK project on valid Ecological material. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the TPACK-integrated project-based worksheet. This research is a research and development (Research and Development) with a 4D model development model consisting of four stages, namely: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development, amd (4) Disseminate. The product produced in this research is the TPACK integrated project-based student worksheet, validated by 2 expert validators. The instrument used in this study was a product validation questionnaire. The data was obtained using the developed, was then analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that the level of validity of the worksheet based on the TPACK integrated project, which was 4.5, was in the valid category. So that the student worksheet based on the TPACK integrated project is declared valid. The benefit of this research is to determine the validity or level of accuracy of a basic material, namely the TPACK-based project-based worksheet so that it is useful and useful for teachers and students in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract. Critical thinking skills are something that all prospective teachers need to have, including prospective biology teachers. These skills become provisions for prospective teachers to develop high-level learning and lead to the creation of quality graduates who can adapt to the needs of the globalization era. FMIPA UNM is one of the campuses that prints future teacher candidates, so it is deemed necessary to pay attention to the quality of graduates, one of which is in the aspect of critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research is to analyze the critical thinking skills of prospective biology teachers at the State University of Makassar. This research is descriptive research. The research subjects were prospective biology teachers, FMIPA UNM with a sample of 52 people. Data collection in this study used a research instrument in the form of critical thinking questions on metabolic material that referred to the indicators developed by Ennis (2011). The results showed that the critical thinking skills of prospective biology teachers, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Makassar State University were 67,067 and were in the medium category. The highest average score on the indicator formulating the problem.   Keywords: Analysis, Critical Thinking, Prospective Teachers, Biology.

Abstract

Teaching material-based thinking ability tests are used to assess students' critical thinking skills. The development of critical test questions on teaching materials aimed at producing valid instruments was carried out using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Determine, Design, Implementation, Evaluate). Data collection using instrument validation test item description. The product design of the critical test questions produced was validated with a very valid category. The results of the development of the facts of critical thinking test questions based on teaching material that is implemented have a scope of material based on RPS Basic Biology, Structures related to critical thinking skills and material indicators, nine critical thinking indicators derived from Ennis, Greenstein, and Ministry of Education, The main points in the rubric are arranged as a continuum, the pattern of answering is continued by each discourse

Abstract

The imbalance in the orientation of educational goals in Indonesia is considered as the cause of the failure of character formation. The learning process in class is only concerned with academic achievement and ignores the practice of good behavior. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of developing the character and academic achievements of students through Project Based Learning (PjBL) in plant physiology courses. The study was designed as a pre-experiment using Single-Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Students are given a pretest before being given a learning treatment by applying PjBL and thereafter given a posttest. The random sampling technique was used to select one of three classes of participants in plant physiology courses with a total of 36 students. Student character observation sheets and learning achievement tests are used as instruments. Descriptive analysis, t-test, and N-Gain are used in data analysis. The results revealed that the application of PjBL in plant physiology courses can develop the character of discipline and responsibility and student learning outcomes. This study recommends that lecturers in higher education institutions apply the PjBL model among learner-centered learning models for the purpose of character development and academic achievement
