Abstract

Sungai merupakan bagian penting bagi kelangsungan hidup makhluk hidup, khususnya manusia. Suatu sungai dianggap tercemar jika kualitas airnya tidak memenuhi peruntukannya. Pengolahan air limbah secara umum meliputi pemisahan padatan tersuspensi (TSS), pemisahan senyawa koloid, dan penghilangan senyawa polutan terlarut. Sistem takaran koagulan di sebagian besar instalasi pengolahan air masih menggunakan metode pengendalian manual berdasarkan rasio aliran air yang tetap. Oleh karena itu, jumlah flokulan yang ditambahkan tidak mungkin disesuaikan dengan perubahan kualitas air baku atau fluktuasi laju aliran air. Masalah yang harus dipecahkan adalah meningkatkan presisi dosing pump, sehingga bisa meminimalisir adanya kesalahan dosis serta meningkatkan efisiensi chemical injection. Juga perubahan angka TSS yang menyebabkan dosis injeksi tidak selalu sama. Masalah ini dapat diselesaikan dengan automation system. Automation system dapat mengolah sinyal sensor dan parameter lain secara cepat dan presisi, dengan bantuan program PLC S7-1200 CPU 1215c AD/DC/Rly dan PID controller, nilai error pada sistem bisa diminimalisir. Automation system juga dapat menghitung dosis secara akurat dan real-time, yang mampu merespon kebutuhan dosis yang fluktuatif menjadi perubahan dosis yang digunakan dalam satu waktu. Dibantu dengan visualisasi HMI Unified yang baik dan user friendly, maka pengolahan limbah dengan dosing pump akan menjadi lebih optimal.

Abstract

Moving average filter is a signal processing method used to reduce fluctuations or noise in data by taking the average of the most recent values. This filter works by taking the n most recent values in the data and calculating the average. This research investigates the effect of the n parameter value in the moving average filter on the stability of ultrasonic sensor readings regarding object distance. It was found that the value of n had a significant impact on the stability of the results. Using n = 20 produces a stable graph of distance values with minimal fluctuations, while n = 10 reduces fluctuations but still shows slight fluctuations. n = 5 also improves stability, but quite significant fluctuations are still visible. Meanwhile, n = 3 produces an unstable graph with high fluctuations. In conclusion, the larger the n value, the more stable the distance value graph. However, it should be noted that a value of n that is too large can cause a delay in the system's response to changes in distance. Therefore, the selection of the n value must consider the balance between the stability of the results and the response of the system.

Abstract

The emergence of IEEE 1451 is proof that plug-and-play can solve compatibility problems experienced by a variety of different sensors when accessing communication. The plug-and-play system makes it easy for users to innovate, add, remove or replace sensors. The convenience offered by the plug-and-play system requires researchers to be able to think creatively from the aspect of flexibility to implement plug-and-play which is integrated with the DHT11 temperature sensor so that the sensor can be directly connected to the interface. This study shows a plug-and-play process developed by a scanning process to find connected PORTs without having to do configuration, showing a comparison of the DHT11 error value with a comparator that reaches 0.628% in temperature values and 0.428% in humidity values. This study also shows 120 monitoring data of temperature and humidity values for one month obtained from the interface that has been made

Abstract

PBL (Project-Based Learning) menonjol sebagai pendekatan yang penting dalam pendidikan modern karena memberdayakan mahasiswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam lingkungan PBL, mahasiswa tidak hanya menjadi penerima informasi, tetapi juga menjadi pembuat pengetahuan dengan terlibat dalam pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penerapan PBL terhadap pemahaman dan pencapaian mahasiswa dalam konteks pembelajaran pemrograman dan teknologi sensor. Analisis data pre dan post tes menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PBL secara signifikan meningkatkan rata-rata skor mahasiswa dari 17,18 menjadi 29,81 setelah penerapan PBL. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan distribusi skor pada tes pasca PBL, dengan peningkatan jumlah jawaban yang benar pada soal-soal yang sebelumnya memiliki sedikit jawaban benar, serta pada soal-soal yang memiliki tingkat jawaban yang tinggi. Ditemukan bahwa PBL tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman materi, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan penerapan konsep dalam konteks nyata.

Abstract

The development of technology makes education in Indonesia have to adjust the material to be studied by students. The results of observations that have been carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan in the Industrial Electronics Engineering expertise program are that there is no learning media for self balancing robots based on ESP 32. The aim of the research is to create learning media for trainers and textbooks for self balancing robots based on ESP32 which are suitable for use include: and textbooks, the practicality of trainers and textbooks in terms of student responses, the level of effectiveness of trainers and textbooks in terms of student learning outcomes. Research and Development (R&D) with a One Shot-Case Study trial design and research subjects, namely 25 students of class XII Industrial Electronics Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan, were used as the method of this research. On the validity aspect of the learning media in the form of a trainer it is declared very valid with a value of 91.1%, textbooks are declared valid with a value of 79.5% and instruments are declared valid with a value of 81.3%. In the aspect of trainer practicality, in terms of student responses, it can be stated that it is very practical with a score of 86.6%. In the aspect of effectiveness, the mean value is 78.79 with a value of Sig2.(2-tailed) of 0.000, the t-test after the t test analysis is 7.135 while the ttable is 2.064, then the value of tcount> ttable, meaning reject H0. Thus, the use of the ESP 32-Based Self Balancing Robot Trainer in the Robotic Control System subject for class XII Industrial Electronics Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan can be declared to have a good and proper effect as a learning medium in learning activities.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is a learning model based on the problems experiencedby students during the process of gaining knowledge. This learning model can train students to learnindividually in finding solutions based on existing problems. Thus PBL is a learning model that can beapplied to students in vocational schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of thePBL learning model. Judging from the formulation of the problem in this study, which is about how thedescription of the application of the PBL learning model in class X students of the Network ComputerEngineering Expertise Program at SMK Rajasa Surabaya. This research uses descriptive research witha qualitative approach. Data were collected using interview techniques and filling out questionnaires.The data obtained were then analyzed using several stages, namely collecting data, reducing data,presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of theProblem Based Learning (PBL) learning model makes class X students in the TKJ department thinkmore critically to solve problems that have been faced, according to the responses from students in code3. Based on the results of interviews in code 5, the PBL model is also able to stimulate students to be more active so that students can express their opinions with confidence. Some of the difficultiesexperienced by students while using the PBL model are the difficulty of finding information to solve theproblems given by the teacher, the basic abilities possessed by students make it difficult to solveproblems. With online learning during the pandemic, the PBL model does not work optimally, so therelationship between students and teachers and relationships between students do not work well.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education and learning activities in the aspect of disaster mitigation, educational institutions are an important means to help provide students with an understanding of the importance of natural disaster mitigation. Improving the quality of disaster mitigation education can be done by providing students with learning media to improve their understanding of mitigating natural disasters that will occur. The purpose of making trainers disaster mitigation as learning media is an effort to support students' understanding of the importance of natural disaster mitigation. The use of the research & development ADDIE method in this study aims to develop learning media to educate students about disaster mitigation. The data comparison process was carried out using the results of the pretest and posttest by analyzing the learning outcomes of 32 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pulung on geography subjects about landslide disaster mitigation using LSM trainer learning media. Development results Trainer landslide smart mitigation (LSM) obtained a level of validity with average score trainers of 90.54% for, job sheets 87.50% for, and 88.89% for questions, meaning that the research product is very valid to be implemented as a learning medium. Based on analysis of test for normality Kolmogorov-Smirnov gain score significance pretest 0.200 and score significance posttest 0.164 and the results of the t-test analysis obtained a score significance (2-tailed) is 0.000, so the trainer LSM, worksheets, and questions can be said to be effective as a means of support. The practicality of trainers LSM and job sheets are known from the answers to the questionnaire responses of 32 students with an average score of 84.76%, meaning that learning using trainers LSM and job sheets is very practical as a learning medium.

Abstract

The rate of road traffic accidents in the 38th and 39th week of 2020 has increased. Many factors influence the occurrence of accidents, one of the reasons is that the driver is sleepy. The parameters used to determine the condition of drowsiness are identifying the condition of the eyelids. With this identification, an image processing system can be utilized by applying the Haar Casecade Classifier and Circular Hough Transform methods with Find Countur using HSV parameters. The detection uses a camera with the driver's eye input, if the image detected is a drowsy eye, the system will wake up the driver by turning on a sound alarm, besides this system is equipped with an SMS gateway feature that will be sent to the driver's relatives, that the driver is sleepy. Message notification sent contains the condition and location of the rider. Based on system-wide testing, this system has a success rate of 100% against HSV1, 96% against HSV2 and HSV3, 89% against HSV4, and 88% against HSV5 on eye detection results and response time. The resulting error is because the lighting at a certain distance is not match with HSV set, the system experiences a freeze due to the buzzer sound delay that is too long and the performance of the PC is also less than optimal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to implement creative thinking from the aspect of innovation in developing multiple sensors in plug-and-play system with a database. The method used in this study was an experiment conducted by taking a sample of 5000 data. The location of the research was carried out in the telematics laboratory at Surabaya State University building A8 with room dimensions of 9 x 10 meters. The results of this study indicate a plug-and-play process developed by a scanning process to find connected PORTs without having to do configuration, showing a comparison of the DHT11 error value with a comparator that reaches 2.057 % on the temperature value, 0.829 % on the humidity value, 1.514 % on light intensity value, 1.429% on distance value, and provides 5000 data which includes temperature, humidity, light intensity, and distance data stored in database. Data on temperature, humidity, light intensity, distance, plug-and-play systems, GUI, and databases obtained by researchers are very useful for further research that will be developed to meet smart systems.

Abstract

Pakan merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ikan. Pakan dapat mempengaruhi panjang, berat, atau pertambahan volume ikan. Saat ini masih banyak peternak yang memberikan pakan ikan gurami secara manual. Hal ini tentunya mengurangi efisiensi jika peternak memiliki banyak tambak atau memiliki usaha sampingan seperti mengelola sawah atau kebun. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat suatu sistem alat pakan ikan dimana alat pakan ikan dapat secara otomatis mengeluarkan pakan pada pukul 07.00 dan 16.00 yang terhubung ke smartphone melalui aplikasi blynk. Sensor load cell digunakan untuk mengetahui berat pakan ikan pada wadah pakan yang dapat dimonitoring secara real time melalui aplikasi blynk dan LCD 16x2. Aplikasi blynk juga dapat memberikan perintah secara manual kepada alat pakan ikan agar dapat bekerja sewaktu-waktu. Modul NodeMCU ESP8266 v3 digunakan sebagai mikrokontroler yang dapat terhubung dengan wi-fi. Sistem monitoring menggunakan aplikasi blynk melalui widget gauge dan widget superchat. Pakan dalam wadah penampung dapat terdeteksi oleh sensor load cell. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, diperoleh rata-rata error pada load cell pada alat sebesar 1,77% dengan delay salama 1 detik antara blynk dengan motor servo dan motor DC untuk bekerja. Rata-rata pakan yang dapat dikeluarkan oleh sistem adalah 18,2 gram dengan jarak lontar pakan ke kolam sejauh 3 meter hingga 42 cm. Sistem ini juga dapat dioperasikan secara manual dengan memberi perintah pada blynk. Kata Kunci : NodeMCU ESP8266 V3, Blynk, load cell.
